Just finished watching it. It's okay. I'm not a huge fan of the mahou shoujo genre, but this one's good for what it is. It's got a comfy JRPG vibe and visually it looks very good. I liked the theme of the passage of time it had. It starts off strong with an interesting idea(the adventure after the adventure) but wears it out a little quick, so it ends up dragging in a few places. It's then propped up by interesting fight scenes involving some clever character gimmicks. I thought the dungeon test was a good final act. It's a overrated but worth watching.

Frieren has the joke of frieren not being able to look up the sky from Fern's lap anymore because her tits have gotten too big is a good joke, and is a good way of showing that time had passed and Fern is growing up

AoT is a masterpiece and watching any other anime afterwards invites disappointment. Frieren is ok but there’s a shit ton of annoying dbz tier power scaling and masturbating about hidden powers, and every single character except for Stark has this annoying monotone robot personality where they all think they’re hot shit.
