I watched S1 but it felt like it was a show about him being up his own ass since he got jacked up.

I watched the first 3 or 4 episodes before I wrote it off completely. Sucks cause I liked most of the cast and felt like it could've been a good show. It sounded like a good show on paper.

the show at this point just became a vessel for Rob's narcissism. it was starting to show cracks for a few seasons by then but this is when it really became unwatchable. when Rob (I can't even see him as the character Mac, he's just Rob) did that coming out dance to Sigur Ros I couldn't believe what I was watching, it was so completely detached from what Sunny was.

funny thing is they had a whole episode about this phenomenon earlier on, the one where they were making fun of award shows and sitcoms where the main characters are too attractive. lo and behold, they became exactly what they were satirizing.
