Cool poster edition
/hor/ – Horror General
zoinks Scoob, I don't think that's Shatner!
we need one for every colour
...aaand we're back. Sup /hor/bros.
Someone posted this in the last thread. Awesome, why the fuck didn't they do it entirely practical and just have a giant blood explosion. I feel like mixing CGI into effects actually takes away from the point of doing it practically.
Watch
the ugly stepsister
until dawn
milk & serial
I watched the scene in Scream this was referencing with Sarah Michelle Gellar the other day and it made it extra funny.
I'm finally gonna watch Milk and Serial (lemme guess it stands for serial killer).
This better be good.
Just finished Heretic. It was mildly entertaining. The pseudo philosophical anti religion babbling was something a bit tiring since I saw the same shit in several other fictional works.
This better be good.
It is.
Watch
spider baby
the grapes of death
communion
the grapes of death
is this a killer tomatoes ripoff
Severed Sun was a decent 7/10. Wish it had a bigger budget for that demon but it was well shot. Standard colonial era/vvitch type clone but still worth a watch
fear street prom queen was poopy doodoo
Communion was good. The only bad thing about it is the dancing scene.
the dancing scene is essential. it's the glue that holds the film together.
nta but it's a different take on zombies. It was good.
It has nothing to do with killer plants.
impyling the dancing isn't kino
The movie feels like it was directed by aliens too.
This is the third time Christopher Walken has had a dancing scene in an otherwise serious film
walken was a chad when he was younger, young version of him in The Sentinel
shieeeet anna farris got da cake??? :skull:
2 > 1 >>> 3 >>>> shit >>>> 4 > nobody saw 5
new ff slop on the horizon
youtube.com
I went to a screening of Sleepaway Camp with Felissa Rose doing commentary and the only thing she said about the Meg/Mel thing was something like 'that seems perfectly normal.' Which was surprising given how awkward it is.
Sleepaway Camp is unironically one of the greatest movies ever. It's a perfect example of the "hangout movie where killing happens" style of slasher and it's completely unhinged even besides the horror parts.
IT'S UP
youtube.com
Apparently this was made by a user on "horror twitter."
Based Walken
vhs 94 cyborg short was kino
too shaky
fell for the Taco again award
yeah I was willing to roll with the fedoralogues but
3rd act payoff wasn't worth it
WAY too fucking long for the idea. The first time I've really resented youtube for not having a 3x speed. Would be decent if it was just 35m long or something.
I'd give it a meh for that reason.
The Borderlands (2013) was good found footage, would recommend you check it out
intimate
Goth titties confirmed?
the way he pumps his arms
We're getting kino
Hobbit movie
Pacific Rim
So he makes slop. Why would I watch this Del Taco movie?
He didn't make a Hobbit movie, it was one of the 50 projects that get into the bizarre Del Toro news cycle and never eventuate.
His greatest sin is The Shape of Water anyway. What a molesting of CFTBL.
It's a very low budget slasher that took itself seriously and actually worked as a 'play it straight' movie versus a horror comedy that can play off its shortcomings by defaulting to 'it's not meant to be a serious movie.' Those are somewhat of a rarity.
Speaking of horror comedies. I was going to turn it off about 15 minutes in, but had to know what in the heck I was watching. So, I looked it up and saw it had the distinction of being the first horror slasher parody. I stuck with it and it was really funny.
Oh I need to watch this, ty for the reminder
Kino
*zap*
Not a slasher horror comedy, but also kino.
mike ma book looking ass poster
I like Mimic and Pinocchio, haven't bothered with his Spanish language movies
Frankenstein is like the bible
Cronos (1992) has Ron Perlman
The Devil's Backbone (2001) is good too
he died for our monster-fucking sins
Sally Hawkins being an erotic monster fucker was the only interesting thing about The Shape of Water. And even then it wasn't enough to keep it afloat because it was dragged down by all the hamfisted "huh, guess being a monster is alot like being a black disabled lgbt womyn rape victim isn't it?" commentary.
I still laugh when I think of her being unceremoniously stomped in king of the monsters
Still haven't watch that, I checked out of the US films after Godzilla 2014.
Shin and Minus One were decent.
being a monster is alot like being a black disabled lgbt womyn rape victim isn't it?
But rape monsters are why women are never safe, anon.
has /hor/ visited any famous graves or film locations? I watched the AVGN vids where he does it and I can see the appeal now.
Who knew WWE Studios could come up with such a kino little flick
black disabled lgbt womyn rape victim
Chud really pulling the same one joke less than 30 minutes into Pride Month.
#proudtobechud
Monsters being allegorical to the misfits of society is supposed to be subtext. Del Toro just did an apology tour in a film. I seriously doubt even minorities find this fun aside from skewering the villain.
how macabre
