When did you stop watching MCU?
When did you stop watching MCU?
Civil war
After they dropped Kang. No Kang, no watch.
Endgame
Ironman 2
iron man 2 was the last marvel shit I saw
After spending 5 hours watching chairs I took a hard look in the mirror and asked what the fuck have I become?
After Guardians of the Galaxy 3. The Marvels was up next and it looked like shit. So I've basically missed 3 films since. Saw the Brave New World film randomly when my work evacuated due to flooding in the building. Had a few hours to spare before my carpool would show up so I jogged over to a theater to kill some time. Wasn't bad, not good, merely okay
Love and Thunder was so shit that i now only watch the movies that are super well received.
Oh, yeah, the marvels, I had completely forgot about that movie.
never, i still rewatch them occasionally.
-all moves until endgame
-except black panther and captain marvel, ofc
-but also the post-endgame spiderman flicks, multiverse of madness, and ofc Loki.
-have also watched the wanda tv series, but its not very rewatchable. and the nigress is annoying. but it was ok on a first watch.
When they stopped making the trailers look cool. I forgot that The Avengers had NIN
I think the last one I watched was Black Widow
Not just that but the movie has a song by soundgarden. I saw the shift since thor 2, that was when it began to be sloppy. It’s not a coincidence the best one (iron man 3) got disliked by nerds. The standards were pretty low by then and it was obvious disney saw them as mere toy commercials. Thunderbolts was a good start but they ruined it by having that cringe post credit shit
Endgame, really. I saw No Way Home and it was just ok, then saw Quantumania and it was so bad I didn’t finish it. Haven’t seen anything since.
3rd guardians movie. the villain was so lame.
t’s not a coincidence the best one (iron man 3) got disliked by nerds
dude serious? he's the only mcu villain they acrually let be a villain for the sake of it, no shit about having a just cause or muh empathy
idk i feel like HE is one of the few times they did a villain good, he didnt have some justified purpose or sad backstory. just a shit person
After Endgame
Endgame
Before Endgame.
I was getting bored with it by gotg2 and have only seen Deadpool and Spider-Man since Endgame. The only reason I saw Spider-Boy 2 and 3 is cuz my friends from magic were going to see it and invited me
endgame. barely made it through. And prior to that already skipped alot of marvelshit. But I'm not exactly a big fan of capeslop
I stopped after the moon knight finale. That show was pretty good up until the finale but the last episode of that shit was so bad. Now I only watch daredevil for dex kino. I'll probably watch the big name stuff like doomsday and spiderman brand new day but I've given up on the smaller characters and the other shows.
Avenchairs Doomsday
I think the last movie I saw out of actual interest was Doctor Strange. I had already thought it was trash before then though.
i cannot suspend belief enough when one of the smartest people in the universe is black
Before Endgame. So I guess at the best time, because that's the worst movie.
I was injured and I wished to see it but couldn't, partly because I was introverted. I was also spoilered which made me less interested.
after endgame, like everyone else
This Dr Strange movie was awful. The beaner didn't even wear anything sexy. Looked like the entire movie was green screen.
I catched Thunderbolts in theaters and watched Captain America 4 when it hit streaming. So I haven’t stopped yet.
The only TV shows I've watched were the first season of What If, Wandavision and Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
Only post Endgame movies I've seen have been Spider-Man, Guardians 3 and Thunderbolts
I watched a bunch of the Marvel movies for free because the company I was working for would rent out a theater for all of us to watch, and I said why not a free movie. The last movie I watched before I started getting paid to go was the first Avengers movie, and while paid to go it was Black Panther.
Wanda Vision.
before endgame
its all meaningless punchfests and vaguely defined magic powers that do whatever is convenient for the wafer thin plots
Doctor Strange MoM was the last movie I went into with the thought that I might still be "into" the MCU. Walked out of it knowing I no longer was.
After that I still watched GotG3 and D&W but I saw those movies more as conclusions to their own series rather than as part of the MCU as a whole.
And Moon Knight is the last TV show I watched.
she-hulk told me something had changed at marvel.
Hulk being 'combined' into wuss hulk and she-hulk being ugly and twerking.
its a noticable change just like Lasseter being booted from Pixar and all the middle aged moms took over and started writing about themselves.
I watched every movie when they came out until Ultron, then I got picky about which ones I watched. Last one I went to theaters for was Endgame.
Looking at the chronological list of mcu releases, this is fair. Personally I would say that downfall starts with eternals but really falls downhill after dr strange 2 and ms marvel which were only a couple months apart in 2022.
When I realized that Thanos was actually God and the finger snap was the rapture and all the heros trying to prevent it are the forces of satan
a Mexican child named America
so subtle, aren't they?
I watched them all, including the TV shows
I support Marvek for giving me so much free entertainment
Never really followed it. More of a DC fan anyway. I catched up till Infinity War, but have yet to see Endgame. Last one I saw was the Doctor Strange one
