Maybe if christians weren't such assholes, or at the very least willing to associate with assholes, there wouldn't have been such a push back against them. Most people are not bothered by actual christians, the ones who live by the words and actions of christ, but rather by the grifters who use Christianity as a vehicle to spread hatred instead of love, oppression instead of compassion, and greed instead of charity.
