The performance and the makeup are really bad and the negative reaction was definitely warranted but it was the BTS shit being used as advertising that really made Leto's Joker cringe. The whole "woah woah woah Jareds like heckin totally crazy on set bros hes like becoming the joker!!!" was so wildly out of touch and just made the whole thing embarrassing.
