why does WW2 make for so much kinoer kino than any other conflict?
Why does WW2 make for so much kinoer kino than any other conflict?
It's because there was a clear bad guy in it
it's a war where the bad guys (jews) ended up winning
"bad" guys won for the first half
"good" guys won the second half
it has a good flow to it
Hitler > everyone else
My grandpa killed a shitload of japs. Island hopping in the Pacific was probably the worst shit besides d day which looked really unpleasant. I love the flame thrower footage
OBJECTIVELY FALSE
Napoleonic wars
Big power gap
WW1
Powergap
WW2
Small powergap
Vietnam
Napoleonic wars
this time, everyone else surrenders TO THE FRENCH!!
directed by Rian Johnson
Perfect timing with battles being close enough for war photographers to capture without getting smoked by a supersonic jet / artillery on contact and cameras being finally small and robust enough to survive war
Two, actually
stalin and churchill
Gun conflicts suck. Simple as
Sounds messed up and god forbid if there’s WW3, but it’s a pretty cool conflict, everyone banded together and there’s a lot of heroic stories
It really was... a world war
What are the good Civil war movies
film about WW3
it's just 2.5 hours of drone footage
no? WW1 had the best aesthetics and its not even close
The Japanese killing Americans fuck the Mutts
Because you can tell that 88 was humanitys last hope
WW1
half the seasons are literally just people sitting in the same trenches
"Dude what if technology made war LED BAD?"
WW2
no waiting around hoping something would happen
nonstop 24/7 action, except for the Russian winter which is a nice change of pace
great villains with kino costumes
doomsday weapons of ouf the wazoo
It's not even close.
this ww1 is gay its nothing ever happens: the war
ww2 constantly has shit happening
I like my sword & sandel Kino as much as the next guy but you can't really compare it to gun conflicts.
Why? Ultimately the Russians beat the French. The Brits and the Prussians also beat the French. The time period is just vastly superior to WW2.
When Germany invaded France and French Women started fucking the Germans the Blackpill of Female nature was tremendous
The time period is just vastly superior to WW2
Somehow, Napoleon returned. Again.
The Russians famously attacked during the winter
Trump wishes he had Hitler charisma he doesnt have the balls to start a real war only trade wars Trump is a weak man he was too scared in his assassination attempt
The season in Stalingrad was a pretty slow burn compared to the rest of the show.
but you can't really compare it to gun conflicts.
That's what I'm saying, they're way cooler and much more in touch with the ethos of mankind.
Gun conflicts are feminine
i only watch ww2 documentaries. i only listen to ww2 podcasts. if i go to a museum, its only a ww2 museum. i have a real problem
There are no kino conflicts post-Industrial Revolution.
The character development was crazy though
daring, aggression, and innovation are feminine
The British grenadiers would literally rape you lmao
daring, aggression, and innovation
And what do you call hand to hand combat? Guns are innately feminine. Go look at the dresses people wore once guns became the main weapons.
Became about fashion and having faggy parades while being afraid of hand 2 hand combat. Feminine impractical uniforms vs practical armor built to purpose for hand to hand combat
Inshallah brit siirrr
daring, aggression
Guns are inherently more cowardly and passive than any other form of armed combat.
Rape victims
The uk has many ethnically british rape victims every day.
Nigga missed the entire spin-off called The Winter War
its kind of like avengers infinity war, where the bad guys win at the end, and infintiy war is the only decent marvel movie beside ironman 1
The drone footage from Ukr/Rus war has been some of the most kino and horrific shit ever filmed. Dozens of troops riding on an APC getting blown into the air in pieces after hitting a mine. Troops getting kamikaze drones. Hundreds of tanks exploding into fireballs from tiny dji drones. Meatwaves of infantry running through the mud to their deaths with support riding motorbikes and driving shitty vans because they're out of real vehicles. Not to mention the troops getting their legs blown off then putting their rifle in their mouths and suiciding. The war in Taiwan will be far more deadly. The naval battles will be intense but unlikely to be filmed
afraid of hand 2 hand combat
posts image of men with bayonets ready to fight in close range combat
Because its a fairy tale.
image of men with bayonets ready to fight in close range combat
Impractical showpiece vs actual practical equipment
You guys ever think about how historical events are so notorious that they almost feel like a really well written book or movie? Like at one point Operation Barbarossa hadn't happened yet and there existed people who partook in that event causing a huge butterfly effect for future generations with their actions, but when you read it back it's like it always happened and is a good book or something
Movies were made to imitate those interesting historical events since most of life is mundane and boring. Stories however need to jazz it up with specific characters to follow, combined with arcs, friendships, loves, etc. Following the real events would be quite boring for someone looking for 'good stories' since there is little of that and anyone can die unceremoniously at any time
Because it was the last truly devastating global war and there's a ton of film of it
