no mention of Zac Amico's Midnight Spookshow
Odd that a /hor/ thread doesn't mention the best horror movie podcast.

What is this, some shitty poor man's version of My Bloody Valentine? Fuck that noise. I hate modern slop
*gets summoned*
I'm still waiting for this to get a nice 4K release with proper color grading and none of the insane grain scrubbing that the blu-ray has.
Anything owned by Lionsgate is cursed though. They only let Vestron do their home video releases and their quality is dog shit.
everyday i'm kolobussin
Gilmore Girls dialogue with a nigger love interest.
subterranean, malformed, manlet chuds
seven vaganias...
I just want Mountains of Madness kino.
Can you explain why you think Army of Darkness and Misery aren't horror movies in your own words instead of just claiming it's "objective" because you think this means you don't have to come up with your own arguments? Are you the same guy who also claims Company of Wolves "objectively" isn't horror? You have a very similar style of posting.
Abbot and Costello Meet
False equivalence. Only the first one is considered good at all and I genuinely can't think of any other horror comedies from that era that weren't made by them and they only made four more. Nowhere near enough to fill a list.
checked
there needs to be more little people horror
The movie isn't even that good.
Dude WE ALL KNOW Army of Darkness is a medieval fantasy comedy and Misery is straight up a psychological thriller. This is just common sense.
Are you the same guy who also claims Company of Wolves "objectively" isn't horror?
The Red Riding Hood movie? It has like 2 scary scenes I guess but I would probably call that a fantasy as well.
I wish there were 20 Abbot and Costello Meet films. I've seen 4 out of the 5 horror ones and they're all fun.
There's rumors that the Vestron line will be releasing 4k upgrades of some of their blu rays
I'm going to get Wendys and watch a horror movie.
well if I remember correctly in that one they barely had legs, like little foot stumps and were essentially more mobile versions of the thing from basket case
youtube.com
anyone who prefers Wendys over McDonalds is honestly retarded. The kind of people who prefer Scream over Elm Street.
midge horror is underrated
Freaks, Phantasm, Leprechaun, Burial Ground, Phenomena... midges are basically the seal of kino.
The Sinful Dwarf

Not /hor/, but a kino dwarf pilled song for my horror frens
Looking for more psychotic visually interesting but gritty movies with a strong opening and ending like Razorback
I dig it.
Based shaky cam appreciator, one of the best openings of all time. Interesting question, I'll have a look at my watch list in a sec.
Based
shaky cam appreciator
Never seen a more faggoty thing ever said on this board.
Actually off the top of my head Wolf Creek 2. Aussies know how to open a movie.
It's not how it's shot. It's that if you go into it blind you don't expect a giant pig running through a house and eating a baby and the baby actually dying not having some fakeout where it's fine actually
he hasn't seen Razorback
It's so good it justifies ruining 100 other films.
this will sell our movie
hmm yeah
"Stop being a ph'aaa'hh'ggg and hop in, dude"
what do you do /hor/
breed?
don't mind if i do
LOL
an anon mentioned Motel Hell recently. going to watch it.
Weird you haven't already. It's a classic.
what do you do /hor/
I asked a few threads ago if anyone has seem this? Any anons? Is this any good?
They must have known what they were doing with that poster.
I wonder why I've never heard of this. I actually go out of my way to seek out horror tv
Can you give me some suggestions for background shows while I work, anon? I've exhausted the streaming platforms at this point.
Well I'm currently watching Millennium and it's pretty comfy. Not as good as X-Files so far but what is. It's really kind of creepy in a way that X-Files isn't, almost feels like Angel Heart or something on occasion. It's definitely more gritty and melancholic but not in a truly depressing way.
Tales From The Crypt
Night Gallery
The Twilight Zone
Tales From The Darkside
Friday The 13th The Series
Forever Knight
Night Gallery
that's one i need to get around to.
Kolchak should be on any list as well
did you watch the Junji Ito anthology series Macabre/Maniac? I enjoyed them a lot since I'm not snobby about animation.
NTA but the one with the headstones was super interesting and cool.
Yeah he comes up with a lot of really unique ideas. And his approach of having characters doing their best to be polite while experiencing insane scenarios is such a great setup.
