More Doctor Who leaks (from the same guy who did the previous leaks that have since been confirmed by marketing etc)

After Ncuti's sudden departure the BBC and RTD are keen to bring Tennant back full time

Series 15 will end on a cliffhanger

4 (or 5) Time-Lords will appear in the series finale

Episode 2 (Lux) will feature a "breaking the 4th wall" scene where we see a group of Doctor Who fans watching and critiquing he episode.

When RTD joined Doctor Who, the BBC made RTD aware that they felt that they NEEDED a partner if they were to continue making Doctor Who to a quality standard. So if the Disney+ deal does come to an end, it would be concerning for the show's potential future.

Captain Poppy from Space Babies will feature in series 15

Are you more excited for the subsequent return of David Tennant or the full cancellation of the show?

>Episode 2 (Lux) will feature a "breaking the 4th wall" scene where we see a group of Doctor Who fans watching and critiquing the episode

"Wouldn't it be so great if I included an insult to the retards that stayed around to watch this show"

Scenes cuts to people watching the show

"man just full of faggots and niggers, what else is on"

Changes the channel

Episode ends

no episode after this

Would be based

That autist who wrote Faction Paradox should pitch it to BBC as a replacement.

a group of Doctor Who fans watching

Apparently, it's a load of irl Doctor Who YouTubers (eg that one in the wheelchair), which is arguably worse than just an attack on the audience

Why Tennant, just give us an actually good actor to take over the role.

Im not sure there's an actor good enough to save RTDs dogshit stories

None good enough would come anywhere near this atomic dumpster fire fuckup fever dream of woke.

scene where we see a group of Doctor Who fans watching and critiquing he episode

I just wanna point out that exactly this happened in the cartoon horse show after the original writers were kicked out in place of people who hated the source material and only cared about a pay check, and the fandom openly pointed out the flaws in the new writer's mishandling of the characters.

Tennant will give any modern fan the mega ick, he's like 60 and by appearing on screen is pretty much making a pass at the viewers. he probably looks like a cliff face now

put his daughter in instead

BRING BACK 11

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
THATS ALL I WANT

>Episode 2 (Lux) will feature a "breaking the 4th wall" scene where we see a group of Doctor Who fans watching and critiquing he episode

I'm sure this will be done in good taste and won't just be the writers strawmanning critics of the show.

Can someone explain to me with facts and science how there's people out their who shout at you if you say this programme like the picture related isn't a psyop to make every viewer think being a pedophile faggot is cool.

No matter the platform, they just want (you)s/thumbs/numbergoups

David please you need to come back again. If you don't they'll cancel it and imagine all the disappointed fan around the world. You can't let them down David

.....ok. But it's gotta be the last time

Sweet. Here's the script for episode one where you turn to the camera and tell cis white males to stop watching

Why was the current sidekick only given a season? we are now back to a Pajeeta for next season. I hear both the guy playing the doctor and his companion thought they would get several seasons.

Dr Who.jpg - 1365x2048, 422.16K

In all of nu-Who there has never been a season where he had a male companion exclusively, only part of a bigger assemble. Many, many things to do to sort this shit out but I would consider at least having a male (non zesty and white) Doctor with a male companion that fumbles his way into an adventure (maybe he's UNIT and the grandson or whatever of Brigadier who doesn't approve of the Doctor) and it has a tense buddy cop vibe for many episodes before they become friends, and platonic friends they will be and remain (the shippers be damned)

tense buddy cop vibe

((they)) would turn this home in a,sec

BBC and RTD are keen to bring Tennant back full time

yeah so they can emasculate him more

pass

Imagine going back to say 2017, or 2005, or 1996, or 1989, or 1974, or 1963 and telling people what becomes of Doctor Who. Even in this age where a myriad of things having been destroyed to their core, it is unbelievable how utterly destroyed Doctor Who has been. It is not even as if there is just one or two issues that need to corrected and things will be improved (either in terms of quality or popularity), for there is that many awful decisions and damage done it is unfixable at this point. The handling of Doctor Who is that bad that if it were not a real show it would come across as parody of how the entertainment industry has imploded in common sense and creativity. The franchise has alienated those that were on board pre-2005, it lost those that got brought on board in either the RTD1 or Moffat eras, and there has been no handover to some new audience.

Tennant returns again

It's funny seeing these franchises be completely run into the ground. Then having to pivot back to nostalgia without admitting the franchise has been run into the ground (also see the mcu or Star Trek)

he probably looks like a cliff face now

He was the host of BAFTA less than two months ago. He looked perfectly fine.

The last time the Doctor only had a male companion that was not part of some bigger ensemble is Steven in The Massacre. Arguably you could say Jaime in The Evil of the Daleks and Turlough in Planet of Fire, although both those stories introduce Victoria and Peri respectively - and are officially considered companions for those stories. The lack of male companions comes from how the Doctor and, let us call it, the Ian role (and all the substitutes likes Steven, Ben, Steven) got absorbed into the Doctor role come the Third Doctor. You can point to the likes of Yates and Benton in the Third Doctor era, but with that 1) do they even count as companions?; and 2) there is the uniqueness of the Third Doctor era having the UNIT ensemble. The reason why Harry Sullivan was created was due to them originally anticipating an older actor as the Fourth Doctor, and the reason why Harry got written out as he (rightfully or wrongly) was considered superfluous. Post-Harry, in Classic, the only male companions are Adric and Turlough - of which Adric is more kid than man, making Turlough standout even more.

He looks like an alcoholic went for a swim in vaseline.

that have since been confirmed by marketing etc

Yeah, they said that about Smith, Capaldi and fucking Colin Baker returning in WBY too.
Fuck off.

that one in the wheelchair

Ah yes the one who is so transparently a BBC shill. He used to be like Bowlestrek and had loads of videos shitting on Chibnall and Whittaker only to change his tune literally overnight. And now people pretend that never happened.

I'm sure that fat shill Mr Tardis will appear too. I remember seeing a video of his with the title "Russell asked me to live stream my reaction to this episode" (it was the Sutekh reveal from last series). Disgustingly shameless

there will be articles on tardis wiki for "Tharries (in-universe)" and "Mr Tardis (in-universe)"

Yep, this feels like the end of the show desu

Hope he gets Chique Geeks on. I used to love those lesbians

Well there's already articles for Jimmy Savile (in-universe) and Huw Edwards (in-universe) so a couple more nonces won't lower the tone any further.

Part of me is sick enough to want RTD to get a third series. Imagine him writing an Elon Musk character who salutes the Daleks.

Wasn't there already a joke about Elon being an alien last series

He turns 54 this year. Here's another shot from last year's BAFTA to weed out one-time circumstances (too much tan or hair products etc.). Are you implying he looks bad for his age? Yes, he has wrinkly eyes that's pronounced to the max in this pic due to him smiling; but again, he's middle-aged.

Tennant will definitely renew interest in the show, but whether or not this interest will be enough to repopularize the franchise will depend on the writing.
Honestly unless Tennant is willing and also getting a big fat check from BBC and Disney I feel it's disrespectful to have to call him back.

>After Ncuti's sudden departure the BBC and RTD are keen to bring Tennant back full time

just let it go

Do people even still want Tennant back? Him coming back the first time seemed to dispel a lot of illusions he was even a great Doctor.
Him doing the same manic act, but now he's noticeably middle aged and tired. It doesn't work. It just exposes him as kind of a poor actor.

he is genuinely very unwell. actual schizophrenia.

they already had that 'American business mogul who owns the internet in 2012' Dalek episode, then the 'American tech kid who's never been told no in his life' Sontarans episode.

even if they weren't RTD-penned, just like his pwning the redneck homophobez ending to Queer as Folk, i think he has some issue with Americans.

i think it's genuinely hard to write an 'eccentric' character that doesn't veer into annoying, and i actually dislike Tom Baker for this reason. tiny bit too far.

but by the 2000s the whole Russell Brand/Jack Sparrow/Xander-from-Buffy thing was just grating. Tennant did it perfectly well. just needed dialling down.

The hybrid clone of Brian Cox and Bob Hoskins could be the only way

I'd say calm down, shout less, gurn less, run around less.
I don't know if David Tennant if has that in him as an actor though. Could he even play the character like a McCoy or Capaldi, who is eccentric in more of a subdued way?
Tennant's Doctor is really defined by being zany, and loud. And it's kind of fucking annoying now.

even if these leaks are fake, they need to cancel the show. but if they are real they NEED to cancel the show. having to re-employ a previous doctor full-time just to keep audience retention is an admission of failure.

Are Doctor Who fans notorious for being racist homophobes or something?
I just assumed they were gentle geeky types.
Why are they punishing them like this?

Fags who only watch for David Tennant should be first in line for the death camps.

RIP Tom Baker he should have died before the show

Scenes cuts to people watching the show

"man just full of faggots and niggers, what else is on"

you jest but

Are their cocks on fire?

I’d imagine in 2005 and definitely 2017 there were plenty of fans who would challenge you that zesty gay black man doctor is “utterly destroyed.” I imagine many of them would touch themselves while insisting that sounds like a good idea.

So what happened? It seems like they're trying to deliberately antagonise the shows audience now.
Why?

There's like two traditional groups of Doctor Who fans.
British male nerds (largely children) who identify with the Doctor as an outcast figure and like the monsters and technology.
Hard gays, who think everything is an allegory for being gay, and that the show is really about "social issues".
The second group of fans have basically captured the show, and are punishing the first (larger) group. And that's why the ratings are terrible. And I think at this point they're happy to drive it into the dirt, just out of spite.

Right. I had no idea it had such a big gay following.

Sweet. Here's the script for episode one where you turn to the camera and tell cis white males to stop watching

he would say yes to that immediately
do you not know about david tennant trying to trans his child

the BBC made RTD aware that they felt that they NEEDED a partner if they were to continue making Doctor Who to a quality standard

what is 'a quality standard'?

he's too old
and too much of a fag
simple as

Capaldi is the only Nu Who Doctor that doesn't regenerate into or from David Tennant

Capaldi is the only Nu Who Doctor where David Tennant doesn't appear during one of their seasons to pop a rating

Bow to the GOAT

Wait Ncuti is already done with doctor who? lol. I was actually kind of excited for him but it seems RTD bungled it.

I was actually kind of excited for him

That's your own fault, retard

Nothing official yet, but it seems very likely that he's leaving at the end of the upcoming season. Basically, the show will be in limbo after this season, as Disney hasn't decided if they are renewing the deal. Ncuti did some secret reshoots a few months ago (when most of the season was already filmed last year) probably do film a regeneration so he can leave the show

Most Doctor Who fans are fujos who want to fuck the doctor, the same demographic who liked Sherlock.

Gays see "strange man who dresses oddly, and is never explicitly in a relationship with women" and think "literally me". Autistic people think the same thing. This is the cause of confusion.

Will we finally get to see him nude? In dragon ball we see Goku nude at the very beginning. I feel like the doctor should be able to pull this off

Those are pretty specifically the David Tennant through Matt Smith portion of the audience, who were localised to sites like Tumblr. They weren't "real fans". They don't like the real Doctor Who, which is the classic series, where everyone is old and ugly or weird looking.

Aaaah. That makes a lot of sense. Thanks, anon.
