No, I'm not having the films I love be scrutinized by uncultured swine.

Hey james rolfe

I refuse to believe those are his favorite movies because he isn't funny at all
If he likes them so much he would learn a thing or two from them

Taxi Driver
Collateral
The Holy Mountain

Not the other two, but It's a mad mad mad mad world is his number 1 favourite film

Correct answer coming through.

You should watch lotr, gladiator, indiana jones, aliens, pirates of the caribbean, the joker and nolan batman films, they sound right up your alley.
Assuming this list is not bait obviously

It's not a bad movie. I wouldn't say it's my favorite but it has a lot to like about it.

Strange list, I don't see how spiderminn factors into it.

Post your list

it's clearly a nostalgia choice for op

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turles

Lists like this tend to be pretty repetitive imo, its almost always the same films over and over again. There should be more limitations to make it more interesting
such as:

not in imdb top 250

no more than 50k votes in imdb

not in any sights and sounds list

not in letterboxd top 250

etc, something to prevent the same 500 or so popular and acclaimed films from always showing up

Cringe

Hey thanks, I gave it a quick glance and there are some lesser known quality films there

Just keep in mind this is not some "top quality cinema masterpieces" list, it's "shit that's useful for inspiration for your tabletop RPG"

kys

Lethal Weapon
Year of the Dragon
Napoleon Dynamite

Le Bossu, the 90s one

... why?
The Jean Marais version is both a better movie and a better adaptation

Because it doesn't take itself serious. And I never understood the appeal of Marais anyway. Yes, he was pretty when he was in his 30s. Except he kept playing those dashing rogues all the way till his 60s, while his acting chops are okay-ish at best

These three are my yearly watches after well over a decade, so I guess these for me. Demolition Man just gets better with every year with how modern society has progressed since its release.
