What horror movie fucked you up the most as a kid?
What horror movie fucked you up the most as a kid?
28 weeks later, that scene
Thirteen ghosts. The jackal in particular
6th sense. watched it with my grandma when i was like 12. that night in my bed i was in such absolute terror i had to wake up my grandma in tears because i was so scared lol.
Awww my lil anon
The Ring, saw it when I was like eleven. My brother told me it was LotR.
why did you pick this screenshot op
Whoops, I didn't even realize OP was The Ring. That's how fucking terrified I was of it. I did eventually rewatch it when I was in college to stop being afraid of it. I had been browsing Anon Babble after the age of 13 so the scary scenes weren't shit when I had bestgore or the YNC open in another tab.
get the thread going
Chucky
The Stuff, it's the only movie that ever gave me nightmares
either Ju-On or The Exorcist
Aliens.
My parents would hold the door shut so i couldn't get out of the dark room when i was freaking out
Feeeeet
Freddy krueger
Was 13 at the time myself, and it made me not want to be around TVs for a few months.

older sister rents the blair witch project on video
never heard of it
she says it wasn't that scary
watch it alone on my little crt in my bedroom with the lights off
no reason to believe it isn't a real documentary
it's creepy but get drawn into it
that ending
nearly piss myself with fear
sister tells me it's real
go on believing that for months until i see a feature on it in empire magazine
i know it's a meme and not really scary now but holy shit that movie fucked me up
Horror movie? Wrong Turn 2, the opening scene was enough with the cannibal biting the girl's lips off and splitting her in half with an axe, all of her guts drop to the road.
But non-horror movues also fucked me up, the Normandy beach scene and knife fight in Saving Private Ryan. Gary Oldman murdering an entire family with a shotgun in Leon the Professional.
I don't know if anything "fucked me up" but my earliest memories were of horror movies. My mom was 15 when she had me and we'd watch slashers, Tales from the Crypt, lots of body horror and violent movies.
It wasn't until Scream when I realized I wanted to be a SK when I grew up. I was 8.
Retardedly enough, it was Saw 2... and it wasn't even because of the gore. I just thought jigsaw was really scary looking.
The Ring fucked me good, grandpa. It fucked me real good.
Horror movies and ultra violent movies didn't phase me as a kid (I thought they were awesome) but Pee Wee's Big Adventure did for some reason

No movies ever bothered me, but there was an episode of Tales of The Crypt that bothered me instantly. It was about a playboy type who had survived a war zone by getting over on his squad and he was remembering what had happened.
They were in the jungle and he had learned about some flesh eating virus and I think, he convinced his guys to go there to test it out unknowingly.
Some went and got really sick and were dying in gross ways. Then the rest got sick and there was more of the same. Somehow he escaped and got rich from somehow.
Back to the present, he's just gotten done banging some hottie and is in his bathroom still happy that he's okay. As he's looking in the mirror he notices a scratch on his face. He goes to rub it and his face starts to peel. The part that really got me was when he touches his nose and pulls the entire thing off! He's screaming and going crazy and the girl finds him. Then fade to black - back to the Crypt Keeper.
Freddy Kreuger/Candyman.
I got them mixed up when I started having dreams about them...taking place in my front yard.
Jurassic Park
why is this pose so goddamn hot
The bear one with Alec Baldwin fucked me up when that black guy got eaten, I was like 8 years old
Did anyone else find The Ring actually hilarious?
it reminds us of youth
Watcher In The Woods, especially any time the girl starts silently mouthing stuff in a mirror
It’s funny in hindsight, but this nigga scared the fuck out of me in middle school.
I bet if I watched it now it would be comically dumb looking but an episode of Ghost Whisperer with an electric/tv static ghost scared me when it aired
Amber Tamblyn was 11/10 when she was 17.
Fair-Haired Child
Saw it on Foxtel Showtime, it was pretty spooky but i didn't lose sleep over it
This needs a Darth Maul AI edit
I watched the Twilight Zone movie with my mom as a little kid. Probably about six years old. This scene completely freaked me out. I ran outta the room while pissing muh pajamas. Not fun.
