It wasn’t THAT bad
It wasn’t THAT bad
No… it was worse.
the expectation was too high for a batman vs superman movie, that ruined the experience and made the movie worse
I remember in college some guy told me he was more excited for this than Star Wars episode 7, and I thought he was crazy because I didn't give a shit about superheroes.
I still haven't seen it, and an ocean of shitlibs crying against Zack Snyder still has not motivated my contrarian nature to sit down and watch these movies.
Reminder Snyder didn't write the screenplay lol
the expectation was too high
Yeah, decent script, reasonable casting, credible acting performances...there was no way a Snyder film could reach those expectations.
this and BR49 were absolutely hillarious kept laughing for the whole thing, was sitting alone at the front to, people were offended ait was awesome
I re watched this a few years ago because I thought maybe I should give it another chance.
The movie is fine (even if its dumb) for the most part, but jesus christ from the martha scene to the end of the movie I could not stop myself from laughing until my stomach hurt.
Nope, he just bashes the terrible actors in their shitty costumes together like action-figures using CGI. To the thunderous applause of poo-smelling hands.
it should have been one long fight scene, in media res. while catching their breaths, one of them says something like
huh...so you discovered...my weakness.......
and then it flashes back to Batman's youth training in the kryptonite fields, and when you put all the flashbacks together, it tells the story of how the fight came to be. but the flashbacks are only 10mins total.
if youre a retard
studio interference: the movie
No, that was Justice League, where the studio tried to stop the damage....but it was too late.
We've seen streaming Snydershit with full creative control, and brother it is even worse.
It was doomed from the moment Bale refused to come back. It was written with Bale in mind hence why it had the same themes, tone and aesthetic of MOS and TDK trilogy. You can see the disrepenancy between MOS and anything else Zack shit out. It was supposed to be a Bale/Cavill crossover and he didn't accept the 50mil and they made it up on the spot which led to this horrific mess of a movie.
Bale's character had retired to live in Urop with his criminal girlfriend. Also his Gotham wasn't remotely near Metropolis, and he had zero reason to go after a guy who spent most of his time rescuing people from disasters.
Man of Steel was simply an atrocious off-tone Superman movie, that was clumsily warped into a "We MCU Too" effort that just never worked.
eh, The Dark Knight trilogy was some boring Nolan crime/tacticool thriller with a Batman coat of paint.
the Justice League trilogy was actually a Superman/Batman series, (unfortunately) with a Nolan coat of paint.
character has no reason
Maybe that character is a fictional character and any good enough writer can make up a feasible way to crossover MOS and TDK. Superman's arrival into the world would've been the perfect cause to have Bale back into the fold. Just because you, a nobody who has never creatively stretched himself, can't imagine it doesn't mean it wasn't fairly easy to put together.
MUH MARTHA!
try and defend that shit
That's a dumb and simplistic outlook on the trilogy. The trilogy was all of those things and Batman movies on top. The aesthetics and tone being different doesn't mean that the essence of the trilogy was still pure Batman.
It was about Joe Chill
Who is Joe Chill
Rewatch the movie
Hey guys who will win in a fight between an alien god vs some dumb brute boomer dressed as a bat
Superman had 34 lines in a movie with his name in it. Think about that for a second.
Batman and Superman were in exactly the same profession: fighting wrongdoers with laughable contempt for collateral damage.
The only plausible reason they have for conflict is territory or professional jealousy.
BvS Batman couldn't even swipe a space rock without brutally murdering a bunch of people.
. The aesthetics and tone being different doesn't mean that the essence of the trilogy was still pure Batman.
Yes, if every Batman story is basically pic related.
WB has reduced the Batman mythos to a guy dressing up to stop aged up school shooters from detonating a bomb.
Superman kills a bunch of rebels in the desert
"Lol, lmao, not my problem!"
Batman kills (by proxy) a pedo
"NOOO NOOOO YOU CANNOT DO THAT!! AAAAAAAAAA MUH LAW!!!"
wtf was soiman's problem
I think Batman Begins is a decent Batman movie. After that then yeah TDK is a police procedural with Batman in it, which honestly has led to some of the best Batshit like Gotham Central. That movie probably would've held up better over time if it had featured him much more or much less, but these days it seems disjointed. I'd probably end up liking Spider-Man 3 more. TDKR is just messy and feels uninspired.
there is no Batman/Superman (or WW or AM or whatever) to be found in snydershit
both those things are out of character and presented in an icompetent tone deaf movie
Non of you watched the uncut version and it shows.
with a Nolan coat of paint.
You have no idea of what you are talking about you retarded snyderfag
BvS and JL are 100% pure snyder trash at their purest form
garbage writing
retarded plot
terrible acting
stupid "mature" dialog and religious references
and of course
MUH SLOW-MO CGI
that you jeets love so much
Not watching until director cut's ultimate edition xxl with audio comentary comes out
just because the director's cut is better doesn't mean the premise of the movie wasn't crap. it was clear that the studio wanted to shove batman in the man of steel sequel, and snyder tried to do some dark knight returns out of that imposition. the result was a mess
Watch any scene with lex and tell me that again
people who liked dogshit revision 1 enough that they were willing to watch dogshit revision 2, ended up giving more generous ratings than the majority of people who gave up after the first revision.
wasn't that good either
very meh movie
rotten tomatoes
>:S
rotten tomatoes when giving positive reviews to the snyder saaar cut
;D
it was
The Clark/Bruce drama was honestly great, but the Doomsday fight felt completely tacked on at the end. It was hard not to compare this with Civil War, where the heroes don't play nice at the end and there are huge consequences for everybody.
It's gonna get a lot worse when Gunn destroys the brand.
the nolan trilogy is so amatuer compared to the snyder trilogy lmao
It was hard not to compare this with Civil War, where the heroes don't play nice at the end and there are huge consequences for everybody.
what consequences were those, no more Taco Fridays for Steve and company?
essence of the the movie was batman
Man of steel unironically embodies more of the essence of superman compared to batman in those shit films kek
It's gonna get a lot worse when Gunn destroys the brand.
WB has already whittled Batman enthusiasm below Black Panther 2: Black Panther is DEEEAAAAD (LOL).
what consequences were those
Cap's team forced into hiding
Vision running off with Wanda behind Tony's back
Tony grabbing Spiderman off the street because the normal team is in shambles
Antman on house arrest during his 2nd film
Everyone being unprepared for Thanos when he shows up
Badman vs Subparman is just a terrible movie, waste of time, waste of money.
Kill off Superman in his second appearance.
While he's still a rookie hero
While nobody trusts him
You were supposed to be sad for the 8 minutes you were led to believe he was dead.
It wasn’t THAT bad
