It vas me, James. It vas me all along mwahahahahaha

It vas me, James. It vas me all along mwahahahahaha

Am I seriously supposed to believe that this guy has been the mastermind behind all the events in the Craig movies since Casino Royale?
Because it really doesn't feel like it.

Also I'm your step-brother

Okay this is getting silly now

Blofeld.jpg - 790x790, 114.25K

how can this guy be Daniel Craig's step-brother? they look nothing alike.

Am I seriously supposed to believe that this guy has been the mastermind behind all the events in the Craig movies since Casino Royale?

It's especially stupid since the only reason why Bond was put on the mission in CR was because he was a great poker player, which Blofeld couldn't have planned.

Also I'm your step-brother

They weren't step brothers, Blofeld's family just took Bond in after his parents' death. It's still stupid, though. Oberhauser was a completely different character in the books, just a family friend.

In an interview, one of the writers explained that Blofeld implanted nanobots in Bond's brain to make him good at poker. Wish I were joking.

lol

The Craig era really doesn't get enough shit. Literally stealing the plot from Austin Powers.

he just wanted to advertise his book, felt a bit weird though

Die Another Day is kino and my favourite and nothing you can do or say will ever change that

Also I built C3P0

Oh come on

Remember when you would put a usb dongle in the computer but every time you tried it was always upside down? Me, James. We would flip the port each time you left the house.

Oh, so Kojima wrote this.

Bond movies have never been particularly thoughtful, but Spectre is a legitimately low IQ movie, you need a low IQ to enjoy it.
Not even the action is good, it has a 5 minute long chase where NOTHING happens

hear how great James Bond movies are

they are all like 3 hours long with the most predictable, stale, boring plots imaginable

literally zero interesting villains or motives or anything

I really dont get the appeal of these

And yet, here you are.

None of the pre-Craig films are anywhere near 3 hours long.

And this is why the best James Bond movie of 2015 was called Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation.

Casino Royale is literally the only good Craig Bond film.

Indeed.

Quantum of Solace is the least bad of all the other sequels.

Wrong but it would have been the best of them without the headache inducing jump cuts.

This is Skyfall and Roger Deakins slander. Kindly kill yourself.

Faggot Q

Blackpenny

James Bond background story

No thank you.

Skyfall was fucking gay and I'm glad people are finally realising it.

It's a miracle that QoS is as good as it is when you consider all the writers strike bullshit that sabotaged it's production. The choice was cancel it, which would lead to a massive gap between Craig's 1st and 2nd movie or rush production and at least have a slightly inferior placeholder to lead into a 3rd movie where we finally see Craig as 'peak' Bond taking on his first world ending threat. They should have known it was going to underperform a bit, taken it on the chin and committed to making the next movie something special rather than the franchise killer Skyfall.

hear how great James Bond movies are

You have to hang in some really IQ circles to actually hear this. Actually being great movies has never been the selling point.

Do you think women got the ick from his hairline at the time?

The only good thing to come out of Skyfall was them finally getting rid of Judi Dench.

No I remember women universally splooshing themselves.

Memes aside, I agree.
I rewatched Skyfall and while I still think it's 9/10, it left a dour taste in mouth. It tries to deconstruct Bond winking to itself and trying to be clever with Silva and M and two side of the same coin etc.. but idk. I think the world is done with tongue in cheek meta commentary. Casino Royale is objectively on par with it, I'd rate them both the same, but it's endlessly rewatchable. It makes it's own history and the characters aren't all nihilistic zombies, which is nice

*saves your james bond film*

Thank Phoebe Waller-Bridge (and Daniel Craig for bringing her on), but Anon Babble has a gigantic hate boner for her

Bump.

Skyfall's last scene is perfect.

muh Niggerpenny

No one has ever cared about fucking Moneypenny. All she has to do is exchange innuendos with Bond for a couple of seconds and lead him through a door.

Faggot Q

He wasn't confirmed as gay until this last movie

M is a man again

Assigning Bond his mission like old times.

Perfect opportunity to make escapist movies again.

And then Spectre happened and they blew it.

They should have had Mr White be the head of Spectre. He was watching the events of Casino Royale and Quantum and engineered the events in those films after all.

But for some reason Quantum and Spectre are two different villainous organisations with the same goals.

Exactly. Mr. White should have been Blofeld if they really wanted to go down that stupid "it's all connected" rabbit hole, but they just wanted a more "marketable" actor

There were copyright issues with the Spectre name due to the Kevin McClory/Thunderball issues from decades previous. Quantum were being built up as the new Spectre but the rights reverted and they nerfed them.

the first 1/3rd of that movie is legit good

He wasn't confirmed as gay until this last movie

He was very obviously gay from the very first scene, everything about him just screamed faggotry.

wtf hes cleary turbo bald here but wasnt in the other movies

Hanging around many faggots, are you?

Anon Babble is sadly a homosexual board

Phoebe Waller-Bridge fucked her over if anything. You can tell what parts of her dialogue are written by her and they're the "oh I'm so nervous it's my first day hehe" shit that completely clashes with her kicking ass.
The main problem with QoS writing-wise is that MI6 are a bunch of retards, but apart from that it's unremarkable but solid.

He was! Bro thought he was gonna be the new Jaws. Poor guy.

unremarkable

The opera scene is great. It alone was enough to get me hyped for the next movie.

Plot point in Austin Power's Goldmember that was so stupid it was ridiculous is now apart of the official James Bond franchise

Wonder if there was one guy in the meeting going "uhh... should we really copy Austin Powers?"

They could have retconned Quantum to be another name for Spectre and Mr White is just an alias for Blofeld, but like that another anon said, Christopher Waltz is a big name but it's not like Blofeld has never been recast before.

No but you faggots are very easy to spot.

It's about the best scene although you'd have to wonder why it would make sense for a Quantum meeting to be held in an open environment like that where everyone is split up so much. Consider the meetings SPECTRE had in private venues (can't believe I'm using nu-SPECTRE in a positive light).

Yep, that was dumb and uninspired. They had fully lost the plot with James before this movie.

100 percent

Those are dumb and really tired as well. Bond is only tired though because they ruined him.

Dark, depressing at all times. Tries to be "heavy"

There were a lot of ways they could have done it that would have been infinitely better than what they delivered.

third movie reveals white/quantum were blofeld all along

third movie sees white ousted by blofeld and quantum becomes spectre

third movie reveals that quantum is just one of several almost unstoppable evil organisations that operate under the Spectre banner

I guess the real problem with Blofeld was that, not only was the twist shit, it turned up a whole movie late.

Only cool villain, and not that cool. No personality.

I honestly think that in the future people will skip the Craig movies and pretend like nothing that happened in it is canon.

I don't know what sort of crack people were smoking when they said Craig was good but I do remember them at the time talking about how Craig brought more "realism" and "gritiness" to the Bond movies that had been lost with Brosnan. Maybe it was more like a bit like what happens when bands hit the big time sometimes - that for a certain type of Bond fan, Brosnan was too good, and he appealed to the masses too much - he wasn't "their thing" anymore, and they hated that. So when Craig came along they were like "oh yes, this guy is gritty and unfunny and shit - the mainstream will never accept him, this is our guy!"

craig fans are not bond fans

Bond but without any of the racism, larger than life villains, fun gadgets or male chauvenism with a charisma vacuum of a MC who looks like a human pitbull had its face caved in

unironically what is the appeal of nuBond

Skyfall for me, but as a trilogy is alright.

It's best to ignore spectre and time for a shit death.

That is one of the biggest problems with the Craig Bond series, realism and depressing themes.
