He also gets the cockpit computer alarm that says "pull" to align with the part of the song where she enunciates "home" in a breathy tone. You can see how the words sound similar, the way Evanescence says them.

Am I the only person who realizes that Nathan is being 100% ironic in this series? Despite everything being irony-poisoned these days, normies can't wrap their heads around doing or saying something disingenuously just because you think it's funny.
He is trolling people in the show, HBO and the audience by presenting the series as some quest to understand himself. The scenarios and explanations are contrived because his goal is to get people to react in an organic but entertaining way like when he decided to troll the crazy woman in S1 with the Jewish stuff. He ended up making that Christian woman AND the Jewish Torah tutor look fucking crazy by pretending to be ignorant and justifying the show as a reason to find himself.
It looks like even Anon Babble doesn't know what trolling is these days. This show is Nathan Fielder masterfully trolling all parties using the fake introspection angle to get people to agree to outrageous situations and speak candidly in ways that make good absurdist television.

Also the "quest to understand himself" angle serves 2 key purposes in the series: it allows him to insert himself when the real people get complacent to move the story forward, and also lets him generate filler when their drama llamas get boring. In S1 they stuck with that Christian lady because she had good potential to be a lolcow but then when she just ended up scrolling instagram all day and not even working her fake job or taking care of the fake house, he had to generate more content for the show which is why he did that whole subplot of playing the actor playing the juice bar guy. By wanting to teach the kid Judaism and showing it as his quest to understand his roots, he was able to shake things up once the woman got complacent and stopped being candid.
