That’s funny cuz I have the complete opposite issue; going back I find seasons 1 and most of 2 to be almost perfect, when the show is at its most “formulaic,” then by the time it hits the once lauded concept episodes and the show starts to lose a coherent thread and becomes essentially a series of one offs with the occasional love triangle I turn it off.
Also you can clearly tell when Dan Harmon/the writers started doing chase dirty because of their off screen beef, he’s far and away the best actor in season 1 and his timing and delivery is spot on every single time

It's a shame the two good show's Dan Harmon has made died off 2 seasons in. We'd have ages of good content if he wasn't a hysterical alcoholic. Hopefully the movie is kino.

Same thing as Rick and Morty: Was hilarious to start with when it was just a loose parody of a popular 80s movie, attracted an incredibly obnoxious fanbase that demanded they just do the same few funniest bits over and over, Dan Harmon indulged them to satisfy his god complex until the show eventually became a melodramatic caricature of itself, at which point everyone started to lose interest.

The second half of season 3 happened then the firing of Harmon and season 4.

for me it's the 6 babes that show up in the finale and apparently live together and are "experimental".

Agreed, it was one of my favorite shows but trying to watch season 3 and on it just sucks.

I've never watched past the first season because britta's turnaround with jeff was too fast and stupid and then they turned it into a love triangle in the finale and it got a bit dull around episode 13 anyway
