the saga is complete
The saga is complete
Finally, Star Wars can rest... for now.
Genndy Wars between 2 and 3
Rogue One was fucking terrible. I don't believe for a second anyone genuinely enjoys that boring-ass movie.
People have tricked themselves into thinking it's good after Andor.
Sequels are and always will be canon.
That's not true. That's impossible.
Reminder all nu wars is faggot shit
Fixed if for you tranny
its the opposite people are rewatching it after Andor and realise its a bunch of member berries and capeshit and woke as fuck
everything after Star Wars (1977) is non-canon
The only Star wars canon is George Lucas original script for Star wars 1977
BASED
Fixed
includes disneyslop
dear oh dear oh dear...
The AT is not part of the Skywalker sag.The AT is a companion prequel that enriches the Skywalker saga by exploring the roots of the Rebellion through grounded, political storytelling.
It is a period of civil war.
Rebel spaceships, striking
from a hidden base, have won
their first victory against
the evil Galactic Empire.
During the battle, Rebel
spies managed to steal secret
plans to the Empire’s
ultimate weapon, the DEATH
STAR, an armored space
station with enough power to
destroy an entire planet.
yeah that's the point, it will make for good chud bait
Reminder all nu wars is faggot shit
THIS IS THE ONLY PART OF STAR WARS THAT IS CANON
EVERYTHING ELSE IS REDDIT FAN FICTION!!!!!!!
You could say the AT is part of the rise and fall of the Empire
Is Splinter good? From what little I know about it's production it seems interesting.
FIFY
It's more interesting from a IRL perspective
Not really much happens in it since it's designed to be "super low budget star wars if Star Wars flops" and came out when the franchise was barely getting started so you have some random "not jedi/not Obiwan" woman in it helping Luke who's biggest force achievement is levitating a fucking food tray/salt shaker along with stuff like Luke wanting to bang Leia.
Wouldn't say it's bad but if you wanted to read actually good "70's Star Wars novels" before Lucas and co actually tried to make expanded lore/stories the OG Han Solo books are probably the best of the tiny bunch you can read in that category.
If you started reading and got bored/can't be assed maybe just read the 4 issue comic since it's a truncated version of the book but it gets most of the broad strokes down right.
Since you seem like someone who would have read these, are the early marvel comics good? From what little I know they seem really pulpy and fun, but I'm wondering if there's too much old-comic jank.
Alternatively, would Tales of the Jedi be a better read?
I’m more of a THX trilogy nigga myself
eh anon
"A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...."
Rogue one was almost good. Until the ending where the chick gives away the fact that the death star has a secret weakness and she's transmitting the plans to the rebels. It defies explanation that the guy didnt just shoot her right there. The empire should've won.
I personally did not care for Rogue One
Season 2 was boring and gay
Thank you
BASEDO
They're more bizarre than anything since it's a combination of a brand new Scifi IP crossed over with the Marvel team at the time so you sometimes get run of the mill scifi stuff and then in others get completely batshit stories involving literal space pirates (as in pirates that fly actual sea ships around in space).
There's a few decent one off stories spread out among them but it's more interesting if you're a comic book fan since you get just batshit crazy super pulpy ship designs.
Vader is usually characterized completely wrong even if you base it only off the first movie which is all they had for a while and there's occasionally some interesting shit like the very first prequel era story ever told with a Obiwan flashback or Star Wars having a Terminator character before Terminator was ever even a thing, However the post RotJ stuff was hard on the writers because Lucas put in restrictions on not evolving Han and Leia's love story or stuff like Luke and the force.
Similar to Splinter it's often more interesting in a IRL context than the actual written material since it's a look at how some artists interpreted the universe in its infancy you'll also get tonal/design whiplash when the comics divert for 6 or so issues to adapt the movies as they come out since those are pretty consistent with the script/what was on screen and then you go back to crazy stories involving retarded bug people or talking guinepigs with telepathy.
Artwork is usually nice though and some cover art is legitimately great.
I'm not the one who asked, but thank you for your insights, anon. It's rare to see actual discussion posts on Anon Babble anymore, 99% of this board is just retarded meme shitposting nowadays, probably all bot generated.
Can't argue with that. Literal kino order.
Can’t wait for AI to give me Revenge of the Jedi
LMAO I literally just read that page two days ago in my copy of that comic and saw the tease for the next issue, what happens in The Last Jedi?
People tricked themselves after the Darth Vader scene
I don't even like R1, but it's still a better conclusion to the "Andor Trilogy" than RotJ was to the origial trilogy
DOnt forget bad batch kino!!!
bad batch kino!!!
LOL
LMAO
disney slop
saga
Nah. Saga is George Lucas' Star Wars, which is episodes I to VI and The Clone Wars animated series. That's it. Everything else is just terrible fanfiction.
"I am the father of our Star Wars movie world—the filmed entertainment, the features and now [The Clone Wars] animated film and television series,” [Lucas] says. “And I’m going to do a live-action television series. Those are all things I am very involved in: I set them up and I train the people and I go through them all. I’m the father; that’s my work. Then we have the licensing group, which does the games, toys and books, and all that other stuff. I call that the son—and the son does pretty much what he wants.” He laughs. “Once in a while, they ask a question like ‘Can we kill off Yoda?’, things like that, but it’s very loose. Then we have the third group, the holy ghost, which is the bloggers and fans. They have created their own world. I worry about the father’s world. The son and holy ghost can go their own way."—George Lucas
Don't forget to kill yourself.
I rewatched it and I can confirm that it is still shit.
Animated show with a crappy art style
Fanfic where Leia gets raped
Fuck off
Get that spic who can't speak English and his ugly rat face out of there.
I'd stick up for George but he's the one who sold out his creation and allowed it to be defiled leading to abhorent garbage like the sequels, the TV shows spawned from it and Andor.
There’s no long time ago in a galaxy far, far away in andor
The fact that he was betrayed and deceived is not his fault. And he can't be responsible for the terrible slop these faggots produce. He gave them all the tools, he offered his help, he gave them his stories, ideas, treatments. They stabbed him in the back and thought they knew better.
finally a man of taste
People spent the last nine years saying it was the best Star Wars movie since Jedi.
betrayed and deceived
Yeah, no, he cucked out and sold his creation for money. Now, you could say that fans made him do it and we're all responsible but still. He should've known better. A guy with his experience should've just kept on going by himself. It's not like he needed the money. He did it just out of spite, stupidity, I don't know.
Cut off TPM and AotC, and I’m inclined to agree with you. You get everything you need from the PT in RotS.
Nigger
we're missing the Darth Maul saga with a movie in between each prequel and after Episode 3.
Where does Y tu mama tambien fit into this?
That’s set 4 years after Revenge of the Sith
