It will matter eventually, possibly with the Odyssey, but currently it doesn't "matter" other than being able to recognize actual success vs. a flavor of the month or some kind of unsustainable paper tiger in terms of revenue
I predict there will be some attempt to recapture the "Barbenheimer" trend with the Odyssey and some other contrasting movie releasing at the same time, but it won't have the same steam, not like the brief "Saw X + Paw Patrol" trend that happened after Barbenheimer.

I like shitty horror movies, so I'm looking forward to a lot more than 3 movies. But I'm not looking forward to any major cinema releases except Frozen 3. I thought the 2nd one was better than the first one, so I have some hope that the 3rd one will be good.
As for tv... nothing comes to mind except The Librarians: The Next Chapter. But I was pleasantly surprised this year by Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue. It was a pretty decent And Then There Were None adaptation set in a different setting and era. But I might have liked it only because I wasn't expecting much.
