Was he really a psychopath or was it just autism?

was he really a psychopath or was it just autism?

He was gay

Imagine saying retarded shit for attention. Your diagnosis is that you think like a woman.

at least he's not racist.

Do you even know what autism is?

What's the difference?

He was the ideal man. Also autism/ptsd type shit.

my slightly socially awkward son, you MUST become a serial killer. I'm afraid it's the only way...

?

He was possessed by an ancient mesoamerican demon or something

No blacks though. That's racist.

the real problem was the hypocrisy

what about doakes

Dexter didn't kill Doakes.

but he told him he owned him and locked him in a cage, that's close I guess

how did this end? i never watched the final ep, heard it was hot garbage

he owned him and locked him in a cage

Black people hate this lmaos

Deb is killed. Dexter kills the killer. Its pretty kino. Does it in the police station with a pen, on camera. There's a hurricane. Dexter abandons his child with a psycho killer, takes Deb's body onto his boat, and goes into the hurricane. Fade to black. Dexter is now in some cold area working as a laborer and looking all evil.

It was hot garbage. Season's 1,2 and 4 are Kino. 1-5 are worth watching. Skip the rest after that.

dexter seems like a show best enjoyed with clips
same as house md

yeah but he was going to

I thought he had decided not too.

TONIGHT
is the night
and tomorrow night after that
Deedle dee-dee, dee-dee

You forgot the best scene where Angel and Quinn are shown to be partially or fully aware that Dexter is a killer, but they approve of his actions and don't snitch on him or anything

Fakes his death to become a lumberjack after throwing Debs corpse in the ocean and sending his 5 year old son to Argentina to be raised by a hot female serial killer.

Then there's a sequel series where his now 17 year old son hunts him down because he misses him. Turns out Harrison also has a dark passenger and Dexter starts teaching him the code as they kill the guy who voices Mr Krabs. Only Dexter gets caught and kills a black cop/wrestling coach Harrison likes so Harrison shoots Dex dead with a rifle because BLM and leaves town after Dexter's girlfriend sheriff says he can

Then there's a prequel series where we see how max autism young Dexter started killing, also Deb is even more of a fuck up, and Harry is having a bad time and Brian from s1 is running round killing people from his childhood and trying to make contact with his brother

Next month there's a sequel sequel series where Dexter survives his shooting goes to find his son in New York and it looks like they kill Peter Dinklage.

No, we don't know what he would have done with Doakes. Same with Laguerta. The show has a problem with setting up moral dilemmas for Dex that require copouts where someone else shows up and takes the choice away from him.
Though New Blood addressed this and finally had him run out of plot armor

he decided not to, but then realized he could pin his murders on doakes, so he went to kill him but lila got there first.

New Blood addressed this and finally had him run out of plot armor

He literally comes back from the dead.

Is this the thread?

Sorry I can't help with your case, but (entirely unprompted) Did you ever hear the Tragedy of Debra Morgan the Vegetable?

I thought not. It's not a story the police in rural New York would know about.

This random woman you've never heard of had a brother, and her brother had a son named Harrison, and it's somehow important that I recall and tell you Harrison's name in this moment.

And she was a good friend.

Then there's a prequel series where we see how max autism young Dexter started killing

He touches black boobs in this its based.

chocoboob.webm - 1920x960, 2M

Yeah but they clearly didn't intend for that when making New Blood and he stayed perma dead for another couple years after at least.
And having Harrison shoot him is still a different solution than having someone else show up and get rid of Coach Logan

I did forget about Coach Logan. That's one black down. Two if we count Doakes.

Over the years I'd forgotten what a shit actor this guy was until he appeared in New Blood

its a Laguerta/Angel scene

Why'd he turn into such a manwhore later on? he fucked that random cashier on his roadtrip with his brother's tulpa and the slut from his reunion. Very unrelatable.

Is it even possible to kill so many people and not being some kind psycho?

I started finding it difficult to relate to Dexter once he started having sex with Rita.

and it looks like they kill Peter Dinklage.

i will now watch your show

lmao i forgot that plotline from the robocop season, i thought they would just pretend it never happened

The reunion one had another more practical reason, he needed to be able to take her phone and send a text from it.

Fweebo

yeah, he has sex with rita once and suddenly he´s like a girl who cries and cuts herself is she has to sleep one night alone

He was 100% going to kill Maria, he even thought about grabbing the knife to use against Deb for a second.

5 and 6 are the worst by far. 6 has a great episode with Brian though.
7 is great, probably the most underrated part of Dexter because by this time most people dropped it.
First half of 8 is good, then declines quickly.

it's because season 1 is based off the book while seasons 2-8 are not and dexter needed a romance plotline in two so now he likes sex and cares for romance, but he's not in the wrong for wanting to fuck Lila

I like Dexter: Original Sin

It's amusing how they cut together this 30 minute long full season recap for Original Sin and it includes almost zero Deb and none of her or Dex's dating subplots.
They spent a lot of screen time on things that barely mattered or had no payoff

youtu.be/t12Y_UoiZpQ?si=H_TNtNfhL3QkbqOE

Yah, I looked at those things as a necessary evil. Dexter needs people in his life who he is afraid to get revealed, and those characters needs some story to justify themselves.

I liked it until the last episode which felt rushed and nonsensical (admittedly par the course for season finales of Dexter) If Hall had just decided to carry on playing Dexter 5 years earlier than he did and not forced that retarded ending it'd have probably been the best season since 3.
