Was Dirty Jobs a pysop?

Was Dirty Jobs a pysop?

If you mean it's propaganda, then yes. Trade jobs in the United States have been dwindling year by year and the workforce is not replenishing fast enough. That's a bit of an issue considering that these people are basically the foundation of the country and would keep it from literally falling apart. But naturally, it's kind of hard to get people encouraged with trade jobs when they are very difficult jobs, some of them don't pay well and the alternative you're sold on as a kid is a cushy office job with air-conditioning where you type shit on a computer. Of course, that sort of job is soul crushing and often feels like you're not really doing anything meaningful, but most people would take that over back breaking manual labor regardless.

He didn't say that

that sort of job is soul crushing

All work is soul crushing

Yes he did. Chill our have a negroni

Not really, it showed people that college didn't have to be an option to some. Especially those who didn't have the privilege or money to do it. Trades pay well, especially supervising and safety positions

Yeah. There are two reasons to do shit work

1) This is literally the only way I can make money

2) At least I ain't no pansy ass faggot with his gucci loafers

Getting covered with dirt isn't somehow innately rewarding. If you're just making someone else rich and getting fuck all for it, you're not going to feel good about yourself unless you've bought into this kind of bullshit

A tough job will make you tougher. BTW you're always making money for someone else, you can't avoid that

A tough job will make you tougher.

Maybe at first. But it eventually wears you down. Ask any longtime veteran construction worker, plumber or electrician how their back feels

Always to that excuse.

Yeah it was make you tougher until it cripples you with pain that you have for the rest of your life

Cummy Jobs

I don't think so. If you want to live in a functional society then someone has to do these things. And at some point 99% of adults are going to have to live on their own and support themselves. I might have said it was stupid when I was a NEET living with my mom, but I got kicked in the face by the real world eventually and was forced to understand. Are there better jobs available? Yep. Can you necessarily get one? No. Is everyone capable of learning one of these better jobs and succeeding at it? No. Are you? Maybe, but if you want to avoid working something worse then get off your ass because eventually it's going to be too late.

even today, conservatards will shame you if you encourage them to collectivize so that they can effectively compete in a multi-culture. 'I'm a bootstrapper, I don't need no big-guvment or identity politics to help me!!!' They think they can bootstrap their way out of what's coming. Look at South Africa, it won't work.

Yes

Is this a mistranslation?

Wrong. Absolutely wrong. A hard job destroys your body piece by piece.

muh trade jobs

If they really were that important people would pay more money for them. Yes, that's right. A marketing specialist boss girl making tick tocks and doing silly dances is more important than some sweaty dude carrying bricks.

but what if no one would do any manual labor anymore!

Then people would pay A LOT of money to have these jobs done and everyone and their mother is going to get a trade job. Unless we're talking fiction here and a witch put a curse on all trade jobs or something. In that case I would love to read your novel one day!

opera singer and qvc host goes on a red carpet tour to "work" for a day at various shit jobs for a tv show

writes facebook slop posts about work ethic among unpaid slaves in zogmerica

lol/lmao

This is one pissed off jew

this guy never actually worked a dirty job in his life outside of that tv show

I thought the same thing. No one does this. It's something someone who is pretending to be a hard worker would say to try and fit in.

Don't forget that your safety is your responsibility. Understand that world is not fair and be okay with it. Be aware that you've won the lottery and are entitled to pursuit of freedom. Above all, be grateful.

I used to watch the show sometimes when it was on, and I remember finding it interesting to learn about these things. I don't remember any bleating about kids these days having no work ethic, etc. So I think what people are upset about him with are really the stuff that he's recently, rather than the show itself. I mean, what does it matter, as regards the show, that he was not a blue collar worker? Can only someone with the right blue collar "cred" highlight these jobs and show what these unappreciated people do every day?

No, it was a profitable reality show for television, not some secret propaganda funded by whatever group you think pushes things on everyone in order to shape the future. You fucking schizo.

Don't forget that your safety is your responsibility.

This is true to an extent. Say you're working in a plant where there are employees who drive forklifts and you're walking around doing something else. It's the duty of the forklift driver to always check around and behind them before moving, so does that mean you should sneak behind one while the driver isn't looking? He might back up anyway, even if he isn't supposed to. Same thing with driving on a road. You can't assume every driver is going to do what they're supposed to. You can assume they will and drive in a way that ends up putting you in jeopardy, and it's going to be their fault if they hit you, but you're still going to be in an accident afterwards and have to deal with whatever bullshit comes with that. You have to watch out for yourself regardless of what the rules are, in the workplace or otherwise.

He's not wrong, if they aren't being paid well then they clearly aren't being sought after.

welcome you're here forever. It's the Anthony Bourdain meme

My back feels great, thanks for asking

“There are few things I care about less than breathing. I have two big breaths every morning: light and sweet, preferably through my COVID mask. Any air quality will do. I don’t want to wait for my air. I don’t want some HVAC, Garth Brooks motherfucker to filter it for me. I like good air but I don’t want to breathe it anymore, and I don’t want it with my living daughter who'll never see me again. It’s a bodily function; it’s not a lifestyle.”

tip your supervisor

I don't understand this one.

tip your supervisor

lmao

The show was fine.
Mike Rowe went on to become a retard hypocrite however
It showed that work is work and that these jobs are important and deserve respect, which is fair.

lol

Same poltard threads over and over.

No Ivan being successful isn't hypocritical. No Ivan him having a degree and knowing how to sing doesn't mean that you shouldn't have a job.

I'll tip the loser who brings the food I already paid for to my table, but I won't tip the person who literally guarantees my continued employment!

just say you're an ungrateful deadbeat

I wanted to murder "move that bus" guy two decades ago.

qrd?

Look mom I posted it again!

Eat a bullet. Eat two.

At this point I genuinely believe American white men have a deep genetic desire to labor and produce that's simply uncommon globally. The mere sight of effective work tingles our brains. It would make sense since there was a great filter, the only people who migrated here from Europe were those with ambition and the desire to work their way into wealth and success, rather than the squalor and containment of Europe.

When I was a kid and they played Dirty Jobs in school every single job felt bizarrely intriguing to me and I wouldn't to be there doing it. It's like a beaver needing to dam or a dog needing to dig you just can't rationalize it.

Explain why I'm wrong but you know that I know that you know that you can't

If everybody who worked extra hard got promoted to management in 5 years, the economy would collapse.

Not everyone can do management anyway. I got promoted like that and it's a whole different type of work. Honestly I often wish I hadn't taken the offer. Just going in for my shift and doing manual labor for 8 hours then going home was less stressful.

America created Corpos that turned people into slaves

Thanks.

I got lots of raises and a promotion while using all of my sick and vacation days and calling out without pay occasionally. That being said I did my job well and never gave anyone in charge any problems. I think the latter is what's actually important, speaking as someone who is now in charge of others. As long as your attendance is at least decent, the main thing I care about is whether you make my job harder and act like a whiny bitch all the time.

Boy am i glad to be a public worker.

No americans are fueled by guilt. Your ancestors were fanatics that toiled to the death and made an entire religion based on working harder. You work hard cause you're expected to, not cause you have to. It's a great way to legitimize wageslavery, which remains the motor behind american economy ever since real slavery was abolished

All work sucks ass by its very nature so if you are an average person with average means it's best to minmax into a boring easy white collar career

The motor behind the American economy has been vibes, printing the worlds reserve currency, and asset appreciation since the late 70's

I don't really think that. You just wouldn't get it unless you lived here. People make work their identity, people chase bags constantly, people brag about how much more they're working, and we simply can't sit still and lounge about like a Euro can. It isn't just cultural it's genetic. We are literally the harder working Europeans who couldn't stand milling about in the homeland, saw free land overseas, and bolted. White Americans are so superpowered that they even carry a massive, non working, parasitic population of blacks on their shoulders on top of all that.

The fact is the majority of people were born to be slaves. They have a slaves mentality and a slaves pride. They're proles and that's all they'll ever be.

There's 3 types of people. Slaves, Masters, and those who are above the system all together (think Diogenes as a perfect example).

I think this is how it will always be. I don't think humanity at large is capable of independent thought and the harsh requirements of true freedom.

Where in the world do you retards get the idea that being diligent and productive is slave-like? Lmao.

The very reason white men showed up in massive god ships and took ownership of continents was because they were diligent and productive. The productive enslave the non productive, this is how it's always been. No one is lazier than an American nigger and they were the ones that ended up working the fields thanks to their stupid stubborn laziness.

If you want to live like an ant by all means do so but don't ever forget that all you are is an insect.
