Another bigeneration
14 & 15 ended up splitting their clothes
Pajeet Rani is probably completely naked under that coat
Bravo Russell
Russell let's Juno Dawson write the "most expensive Doctor Who episode ever"
Russell brings back Susan in the same episode
He's clearly grooming the troon for the showrunner position
One of the main things going against the Rani leak, and any Rani rumour, was that the BBC literally had no rights to the character
The Baker estate maintained this
So now we know that RTD has used the character without permission
Get ready for a lawsuit
yes we've known this for a long time
Why the fuck did they come up with a retarded thing about Rylan being frozen even though the Earth's gone
Why would some interstellar song contest care about bringing a human presenter from a small country on an irrelevant planet from centuries ago
If they really wanted him they could have just said he's a hologram or something
How did Doctor Who of all things get completely infiltrated by the LGBTQ? It's basically a gay show now. Nerds need to learn how to gatekeep shit
Doctor Who has always been LGBTQI+.
That's always fucking annoyed me about Nu Who, how they try to make it "current", which make even episodes from a few years ago age like milk
it's the dark the future where chuds have finally won and became the dominant force in the dystopian machine started by leftist they have started systematically persecuting everyone, including jailing and killing people for having ever posted anything positive about woke content (anything with non-whites and queers that's not excplicitly negative about these topics) on the internet
after exterminating the entire leftist generation, leftism has seemingly gone extict, but the new generations of young people who never knew any other world than the chud dystopia are slowly starting to rebel, hiding in their own new version of the internet that is outside of chud survelliance and sharing any pre-chud world media that survived through those local indepndent networks and illegal USB's
in this world the Ncuti Dr Who period has become a cult classic (everyone still hates Whittaker and Tennant tho), with Space Babies in particular considered to be a metaphysical masterpiece
implying nerds weren't faggots themselves
It's another villain is evil white man with no chance of redemption. At least the black villain hairdresser was forgiven at the end of last episode.
moffat decides to launch doctor who in america
tumblrites are introduced to the show and become obsessed
moffat tries appealing to them with fanwanky crap like osgood
as tumblr becomes known for it's political slant, doctor who follows
licence for doctor who comics is given from IDW to Titan, now comics entirely focus on fanwank ideological storylines
by series 10, the show is full of non-stop references to donald trump and random lectures from the doctor about how gender is meaningless
nonetheless, the ideologues still despise moffat and see him as sexist, and no one else wants to be on the receiving end of that, so chibnall is the only volunteer to be showrunner
chibnall delivers death blow by casting someone unqualified for the role, solely because they're a woman
RTD sees what other showrunners have done, and the expanded universe, and realises he doesn't need to be on a leash and goes full gay when he returns
Why would some interstellar song contest care about bringing a human presenter from a small country on an irrelevant planet from centuries ago
Same reason they had a "Davinadroid" and "Annedroid" on Satellite 5.
Russell is actually making Space Babies relevant to the finale
He really thought that episode was gonna be well recieved didn't he?
That actually made sense though since they were both the original presenters of those respective shows
But Rylan? He's not even the most iconic UK Eurovision presenter, though obviously they can't bring back Terry Wogan
I could at least buy them bringing Graham Norton back since other Euros love him as a presenter, he's co-presented several Eurovision projects alongside the Swedish host Petra Mede, but who the fuck outside the UK knows who Rylan is?
And also, why freeze him
Davinadroid wasn't Davina McCall, it was an android imitating her
Why not have a hologram of Rylan or something, why go to the trouble of freezing him instead especially when it makes zero sense to the Earth is gone arc
There is definitely a problem with nerds being unable to say no to stuff like this, because "that would be bullying, and I got bullied when I was a kid...".
It's a complete weakness they have as a group, and they need to get over it, if they ever want to wrestle back control of any of the shit that they used to love.
It's not that outlandish to say "look, the Doctor isn't a flamboyant gay man. Just stop it, and fuck off. This is a science fiction show".
2023
Nucuti's 2million Instagram followers will add a welcomed boost to the over all viewing figures.
2025
viewing habits and the TV landscape has changed, overnight figures are no longer important - what matters now is the accumulated views over the entire season run.
LMFAO
its hundreds, perhaps thousands of years later, they found an affable and fairly likeable gaylord frozen in the ruins of Earth. Probably spotted him from the light glinting off his teeth or something.
The revive him to learn about Earth history, as the only survior of humanity:
"So Rylan, tell us about your species, what is the most important thing it did?"
"Once a year we 'ave a super camp jamboree where all the nations of the world that actually mean something, see who can come up with the best song."
"Actually that sounds like fun, does the best song win?"
"Fuck me, no. one week ago the best song was Remember Mondays one but that got nil points 'cos Europe is still seething ovah Brexit. Some shite abaht a sauna won."
"But how is it possible to enjoy something where the one who should win does not?"
"Babes, we don't let America enter, its worth it to see them so upset."
And so they unfreeze Rylan every year and have a big camp song show, for shits and giggles. It is all that remains of the entire endeavours and history of humanity.
Bigeneration makes zero sense and RTD just made it up on the spot. Don't forget he also declared that it was retroactive, meaning every single Doctor "bigenerated" now, and that the garbage Tales of the Tardis spin-off is canon and the old Doctors you see in them have bigenerated.
The only reason for all this is that RTD hasn't gotten over his husband's death and won't stop writing garbage about undoing death.
Normies thought Space Babies was a masterpiece.
It's not that outlandish to say "look, the Doctor isn't a flamboyant gay man. Just stop it, and fuck off. This is a science fiction show".
Doctor Who has ALWAYS been about change. So you need to accept a Toyota Coralla in Middle Earth and Doctor Who getting slammed in the bussy
I am not watching it and have been too busy to even seen summarises for the last few episodes. What is going on?
Space Babies got higher ratings therefore people liked it
By that logic Jodie's first episode must be among the best of NuWho then
Because it was a cheap show for turbonerds, not men. Its fans hate "macho-ness" on principle.
The Rani is back and is now played by an Indian woman.
Normies
Twitter Freaks aren't normies.
This is exactly why the franchise is fucked either way. If it continues on the air, it'll just keep getting cannibalised by RTD and his ilk. If it goes on hiatus, that'll only secure control of it to the LGTV4K+ ideologues who already tightly control the expanded universe.
It has never been so over.
Surely it is just part of a wider trend over the last however many years. Pretty much everything was chasing after the mythical 'modern audience', of which the LGBT is considered a massive part and that a bunch of people who do not even care for the shows insist they must cater to. So that means things not only get geared towards them, they also both attract those people to work on them and they get invited in to the point of overrepresentation.
The reoccurring mystery box old woman was revealed to be the Rani. She bigenerated into an Indian woman. Also Susan showed up as a vision and told Ncuti that she always thought the Doctor was a homosexual
You can say what you want about them when it comes to their takes on Doctor Who, but it is not fair to include the likes of JNT and Gatiss in with a lot of the others.
masterpiece
a METAPHYSICAL masterpiece mind you
Don't forget there are two of them. Bi-regeneration is canon.
Also Susan showed up as a vision and told Ncuti that she always thought the Doctor was a homosexual
Fuck off, you're joking?
Also Susan showed up as a vision and told Ncuti that she always thought the Doctor was a homosexual
Jesus Christ - ReTarD is crashing this IP with no survivors - he is fucking it up so much that no one will want to touch it. He is making sure that only he and his fuck-buddy minions are the only ones that will have anything to do with it.
BREAKING FUCKING NEWS
FORMER WALES AND BRITISH LIONS RUGBY INTERNATIONAL
Jamie Roberts
TO BE DOCTOR
BBC Wales have fucked up and put the article about the next doctor and who plays them online too soon.
Bet you all thought it was a mistake when this series airdates were first revealed during the 6 nations Rugby... That might have been the plan all along.
Get in hear before they realise their mistake and take it down:
bbc.co.uk
What is your reaction to the Doctor now being played by a macho white guy next series?
yes, she also said he is brave and powerful
zomg
Ncuti > Tennant
First William Russell, now Carole Ann Ford
This really is a humiliation ritual
I'm confident whenever the show returns after the inevitable hiatus, the new showrunner will just start off with a clean slate, much like RTD himself did
At least, if they have a brain and acknowledge that casual viewers don't want a fucking headache
Susan showed up as a vision and told Ncuti that she always thought the Doctor was a homosexual
Time to delete all my pirated audios and wash my hands of this franchise.
Just have the Daleks or whoever reset the timeline and erase that entire section of the canon. That’s how comic books undo the mess the previous writers made.
The size of her tits in the interstellar song contest, she won't be needing that "Milk" button.
Why is it that so many women get massive anime style bolt-on fake tits the second they hit the menopause in a desperate attempt at attention. Picrel, but I could have posted Vorderman instead of Bai Ling or any number of female celebs.
the new showrunner will just start off with a clean slate, much like RTD himself did
Are you saying as a brand new continuity, because at this point that is what you would have to do. Starting at a 16th or 17th Doctor brings all the issues in a way that soft rebooting with 9th did not. Not that I am convinced some hard reboot will not just enable bad ideas from the 'original universe' or whatever it gets called to just enter into.
Would be very funny if this episode is never seen again because their lawyers force them to take it down. The Bakers are both dead though so I imagine the BBC must be pretty confident with the rights to approve this.
That’s how comic books undo the mess the previous writers made.
And it never works. Why would you want to replicate the bad shit from comics?
This clip, but with the Doctor, RTD, and Juno Dawson
southparkstudios.co.uk
because once they've done the irritating "oh no all the multiverse timelines are converging and now the original Robin is alive again" nonsense, they can just go back to the status quo.
thing is, Doctor Who's status quo is so open it doesn't need any of this shit. the 'mysterious backstory' doesn't need elaborating on or resolved. just have adventures. but i'd be happy with a cracks-in-time wipe.
like at this point i guess everyone on Earth knows about aliens, UNIT and so on? fine. go to other planets.
Susan did return but didn't say the stuff about the Doctor being a homo. However she'll be back in the finale and will probably say something like that then
What is your reaction to the Doctor now being played by a macho white guy next series?
The culture war is over!
We won, guys!
it never works
Crisis on Infinite Earths was actually a phenomenal success, it only fell apart after about a quarter century.
You can only bring Susan back once
They're blowing it on an RTD2 finale
Fuck me. This is the worst timeline.
Omega is coming back too. It makes me think RTD is done with the show, because his finales always involve bringing a classic who character back, but now who is even left?
his finales always involve bringing a classic who character back, but now who is even left?
David Tennant
but now who is even left?
It's even debatable the degree to which it was always about change.
The Doctor basically has two modes as a character: old professor, or younger and questionably insane professor.
The exception being maybe David Tennant, who leant more into into being that annoying guy you know from work.
The Doctor (back when he was the Doctor), as a character, is really just slight variations on a central theme.
Billie Piper is the 16th Doctor
Bring back Tennant as a villain
God, he's gonna do it isn't he?
The Doctor should be written as Captain Nemo if he went to a British boarding school
Yeah, pretty much.
So who's the unholy trinity? The Master, The Rani and....
Conrad?
Susan?
Omega?
Sounds gay
I would argue that when you get down to it each Doctor is just a variation of or focusing more in one aspect of the character that was established by the end of First. The only fundamental change to have come with the character is him absorbing the action/physicality function of Ian by the Third Doctor, but even then with First you got things like this youtube.com
it was falling apart only a year or two later
there a reason DC had to try and fix agein soon after with Zero Hour, and then had to try and fix ti again with Infinite Crisis and then Final Crisis and the New 52 before just saying "fuck it it's all Canon" with Dark Knights Death Metal and Doomsday Clock
Watching Mark of The Rani now, Perri is so fucking cute bros
They already brought back Susan in Big Finish, that has always been the canon one to me
Yeah, no.
It's a show about time travel and all the shenanigans that go along with it when unwitting 'normal' people suddenly find themselves involved in incredible adventures. Re-focusing the show as an exploration of gender identity and political ideology is what has killed it.
I don't get it.
The same people who say Doctor Who is about change were the same people who praised Tennant's return as a new incarnation
It is kind of interesting the degree to which the third Doctor was a kind of evolutionary dead end, despite being a popular era of the show.
they never leant so hard in to the idea of him being more of a fighter, or a James Bond style secret agent, after that era.
Rassilon? Borusa? On a different point it was retarded of RTD to bring back Rassilon as he did in RTD1 rather than Borusa. Borusa makes just makes more sense in-universe, and people that are not familiar with Classic are not going to react more positively to one or the other as they have not idea who either are.
Not every event/crossover/sequel is a big reset.
Crisis held steady until Flashpoint/New 52, and things have only been a who-gives-a-shit mess since Rebirth.
I believe HG Wells himself once said "science fiction is all about wearing your wife's clothes, and getting bummed". Very inspiring stuff.
Its funny because the hairdresser was doing the EXACT same thing, although they said he could kill billions, not trillions, maybe THATS the difference. Retarded show.
So who's the unholy trinity?
Omega and the two Rani's.
Actual answer is that it's a humiliation ritual and the people who push it are trying to destroy every last trace of your culture by tainting it with gay trannification
The same 'people' did this shit to star wars/trek as well, purely out of cultural spite and hatred. Idiots like Moffat and RTD are just the fart-huffing foot soldiers who actually believe the shit they write, but the exec who made the call to put them in charge couldn't give less of a shit about the LGBTBBC or the 'modern audience' he just wants to see you in pain as something you loved dies a slow and prolonged death.
PLANET OF THE INCELS
lmao even tardis wiki hated it
tardis.wiki
kek
I guess Rassilon COULD work with the The Master and The Rani at this point..i forgot The Doctor dethroned him like 5 seasons ago.
Just a reminder of Tardis:Discussion policy - "Discussions on an article's talk page must relate to the editing of the article". It's not really the place for you to make witty asides about what you thought of the story.
Zero Hour and Infinite Crisis were major continuity reset their main purpose was retconning and fixing things that didn't work
These are also two of only three episodes where Ncuti directly defeats the villain
Pajeeta Rani kinda sexy wouldn't mind her experimenting upon me
This looks like it could be a screencap from one of those old Youtube reviewer movies.
polish polish
polish polish
their main purpose was retconning and fixing things that didn't work
Their main purpose was trying to close in on Marvel's market share, narrative wise they were big for individual characters like Hal Jordan and Superboy Prime but small potatoes compared to a big reset.
They need bigger villains again.
Like who takes the Master and Rani seriously at this point?
They're literally just the Doctors mates from the academy.
I'd prefer to see them all have to work together against a bigger threat.
I actually got a tad emotional during the climax of that episode, even if the first half was a bit shit.
Hilarious they made "rage against the machine" the bad guys, almost as if they're afraid
They need bigger villains again.
The villain in today's episode came within minutes of killing over 3 trillion people/lifeforms
HEY RUSSELL I KNOW YOU LURK -
SO JUST KNOW THAT I FUCKING HATE AND DESPISE YOU AND - NO I AM NOT WHITE
It's a nice idea, but he's probably on Twitter.
I would say they sort of did. Come Third onwards the abandons the Ian-esque character. Ian, Steven, Ben and Jaime were companions that served the function of being more physical and a classic hero compared to the less actiony eccentric professor that was the Doctor. In certain respects the Ian-esque character is more integrated into the narrative than other companions and more equally, if not more, narratively focused upon than the Doctor himself. Harry is the last real Ian-esque character, and he is redundant through Tom Banker being a younger and more psychically capable actor than what the production were originally expecting. Of the other male companions following Harry you have Adric who is more boy than man, Turlough who is more characterised by being shifty and is with 'young' Fifth also, and by Nu the likes of Jack or Nardole are never really the main companion and we are talking about the point of the Doctor reaching a level of being able to fight someone who has a sword whilst he himself only has a spoon. The closet reversion back to separating the Doctor and Ian role happens with Seventh and Ace.
The Valeyard
He's not, he's on Insta
He never goes on twitter, even before Elon bought it
Do you think the whole "sponsor is le evil" was directed at Eurovision being sponsored by Moroccanoil (an Israeli company)?
Well Ncuti has been kicked off Eurovision tonight, so maybe
I doubt it.
Here's your Doctor Who episode writer (and likely next showrunner) bro.
So whats the deal with Poppy?
Poppy Honey?
Space babies Poppy is in the next episode.
Fighting against mega corporations is le evil
Stop listening to RATM
Thank you BBC
I like episodes where the Doctor gets angry and we see he's insanely more powerful than the villain to the point where they're terrified
Reminder that all accounts of civilian casualties during the destruction of poppy fields were provided by the Hellian-run health ministry
kek
OH MY GOD IT'S RYLAN GUYS
YOU KNOW RYLAN
I mean that's just a fundamental flaw of art being run by neo liberal corporations now.
A story can't involve breaking down a system to start fresh, the moral has to be about operating within the system and just taking out the bad actors
He pulled out when Israel made it to the finals, because of half his family getting genocided with machetes in Rwanda in front of him and he only surviving by hiding under their bloody corpses. Turns out the possibility of having to award 12 points to a country that is doing genocides right here and now was somewhat of a red-line to him.
everyone is fine to be dethawed because..gravity shield
The Rani dies because...Time Lord brain freeze?
The Doctor is fine because....Susan?
Holy fuck this show is retarded.
How can they not just be
RTD has always done this shit
The Master makes the Doctor old
Every human shouting his name at once empowers him, turns him young and gives him superpowers
Reminder that an actual card-carrying communist had more subtly, nuance, and meaningful things to say than Doctor Who writers now.
I never even knew Rylan existed until they played a clip of him on HIGNFY last week, I assume their first choice was Alison Hammond.
She was frozen much longer a she didn't ride through space on a confetti cannon.
*a herbaceous plant with showy flowers, milky sap, and rounded seed capsules. Many poppies contain alkaloids and are a source of drugs such as morphine and codeine
The size of her tits in the interstellar song contest, she won't be needing that "Milk" button.
This week's "something for the dads":
G-cup GILFs
What’s the point of bigeneration? If you wanted to have a multi-Rani or multi-Doctor story, you could simply use the fact that it’s a show about time travel to explain it. This is why Moffat was better.
Glad they didn't considering how they wrote him in Hell Bent. It makes more sense for Dalton Rassilon to not survive getting attacked by the Master so then he regenerates into a buck broken Rassilon.
Could’ve sped up the process of saving them all if they’d just reflected the tractor beam off his teeth
The speculation is it comes from RTD having become massively averse to death following the illness and death of his partner. So it is for him to say that none of the Doctor incarnations have died because, he does not like the idea of death to a mind broken degree.
Brown women in orange jumpsuits owe me sex
What’s the point of bigeneration?
RTD needs therapy to cope with his husband's death but is instead taking it out on a 60 year old franchise
sex positivity is good!*
*unless it's appealing to straight men, even though everybody likes boobs
What went so horribly wrong with film/television?
Because binary...binary... something or what ever.
Also last season's finale being the Doctor fighting the literal god of death and bringing everyone back to life
So this is the Ood Sigma of RTD2 just like Karl was for the Chibnall Era? You all remember Karl, right?
with machetes in Rwanda in front of him and he only surviving by hiding under their bloody corpses
Lol wat. Gatwa came to the UK when he was a toddlet. He has no experience of the Rwandan genocide because his parents were African poshos who were able to buy their way out of getting killed.
I thought Bi-generation was because of Toymaker shenanigans. Is this just what we do now with time lords?
If the "former" body can no longer regenerate like 14 and Flood, while the new body can, I'm not entirely against it. It just seems unneccesary.
It has nothing to do with the Toymaker, that was just fan cope
The Toymaker himself is even confused by it in the episode
You all remember Karl, right?
Who da fuk is Karl??
Am I the only one here who likes Rylan? He was kino on the Channel 5 Big Brother spin-off back in the day. He also has good banter in the Eurovision semi-finals.
But The Doctor explained the only reason he could dupe the TARDIS was because of the Toymakers influence still being present but waining.
I guess the Doctor did say "it's supposed to be a myth" so it's about the salt at the edge of the universe, not the Toymaker.
I don't mind him, but the choice to include him in this episode was retarded
Oh shit now I've got the image of Simm and Gomez bigenerating in WEAT/TDF. Fuck you Russell, we didn't know how good we had it!
He's a decent host, seems well meaning enough
There is a suprising lack of images ITT
He was the dude who Jodie saved from Tim Shaw in her first episode. Then completely out of fucking nowhere he had a random cameo at the end of Eve of the Daleks like three years later.
The only good thing to come out of this era is the new Murray Gold tracks. The song that plays during the Rani reveal is very nice.
last week: everybody is black
this week: everybody is gay
next week: everybody is ???
trans
How do you do an Interstellar Song Contest with fuck all legacy aliens? Where's the Ood singing, where's the rocking Sycorax? Hell, even Chibnall managed to do it when Jodie got sent to prison.
Cora is competing for Trion, which was established as Turlough’s home planet in TV: Planet of Fire.
What a pisstake. Most expensive episode of Doctor Who my arse.
I thought that was his only good track this series. The rest of the time he’s been phoning it in or reusing old ones
David Tennant
a chud
OWS
I guess this thing is supposed to be the same race as this guy from Mission to the Unknown / Daleks' Masterplan. Pitiful effort desu
I guess the moment to moment music has been a little weaker, but the big themes have been nice.
I like 15 and Rubys theme.
Also the remix of that space babies song for The Reality War he played on the radio is pretty good
The closet reversion back to separating the Doctor and Ian role happens with Seventh and Ace.
And then Big Finish went all the way with it by adding Hex.
If I had a pound for everytime Zombie Doctor Who featured a half-cat thing instead of a New Earth catkind I'd have two pounds, which isn't a lot, but it's funny it happened twice.
If TimeLords are now bigenerating - Nucuti should be splitting into two at the end of the series, right?
I honestly expected this to be the one where they shoehorn in all the old RTD1 villains.
What happened to being a rebel and fighting the power? Why are they sucking corporate cock and simping for the government? That's not cool.
Capital bought up art, so the only "rebellion" can be culture war stuff
If i had to guess "the reality war" will probably be the finale of the magic and gods nonsense started in Wild Blue Yonder, amd by the time the doc regenerates it'll be back to normal.
Disney must be pissed - they spent all this money and got what in return?
Disney money
Reusing the time hotels corridor for the main set for 99% of the runtime
This has got to be a scam, right?
so the only "rebellion" can be culture war stuff
Except corporations and government policies were in full support of the Left, so what rebellion is there?
havent seen any of this season, just the big mystery box spoilers, is it worth watching? Ncuti's performance was fun but none of the episodes were that interesting
Anyone else watching the final at the cinema? What'll be our Chicken Jockey moment, Jodie showing up?
God that story is good. It had absolutely no right being in this thread
I read that as "regenerates from black to normal" lol
reminder that Chicken Jokey shit wasn't ironic, zoomers genuinely thought it was a funny and entertaining moment and loved Jack Black's overacting
is it worth watching?
No. The only episode that's even slightly good is The Well and even that's like a 4/10
whats the scale for that compared to last season? Like I'd call boom a 6, church on the ruby road maybe a 7
why does rylan need a studio earpiece but the cat girl doesn't
boy i hope somebody got fired for that blunder
Readjust your scales. You'd probably think everything is a 10/10 this season.
At least half of the episodes this season so far have come down to a fairly empty room of talking about the problem, expecting the audience to accept it and then it just kind of ending
The Doctor will shout Kino after being brought back to life because RTD secretly observes these threads and genuinely likes to make everyone here angry
You'd probably think everything is a 10/10 this season.
so s16 is better than s15? I cant tell if youre just shitting on my taste or saying season 15 was somehow much worse than 16
Singing Daleks would have been awesome.
I dont mind Billie 16 in concept but I just know rtd is going make it some annoying muh Rose wank bullshit
Both, actually.
This season is marginally better than last season but barely
Holy fuck. If you liked those then yeah, go ahead and watch it. You'll love this slop.
Boom is a 2/10 and church is a 1/10 on my scales bro
Graham Norton needs to stop gatecrashing Doctor Who. This is what, the third time now?
your scale for doctor who? This is a show with so many stinkers I dont see hwo you could call episodes that mediocre the worst. What the fuck would a Chibnall episode be, -5?
Anyone else think this too when seeing the episode?
I stopped watching many of Chibnalls episodes halfway through, so i'd just call it 0/10.. the only chibnall episodes i think I watched all the way through were The Woman who Fell to Earth, Kerblam! (Utter shite though) Spyfall part 1 and 2, the Nikola Tesla one, the timeless child one (just for the drama going on) and Power of The Doctor (which i kinda liked so a 2/10)
Corporations were in support of the left throughout the 2010s until Trump won a second term, simply because they thought it was profitable to be woke, and now it's profitable to be anti-woke. Zuckerberg switched sides almost immediately
it's been like this for a while. it was cute ONCE in The Doctor Dances with life being "a trick of matter".
this was another episode where everyone is just safe then comes back to life. one of the robots might have shot someone?
it felt surprising in Fugitive of the Judoon when one of the Judoon killed a random lady. remember when UNIT would shoot aliens, and the aliens would just kill people? that's perfectly fine "even for a kids' show". even the villains aren't dying, they just get arrested or whatever.
Kek. Good shit.
Damn, this made me remember /who/ used to actually be a general with culture.
Anyone got the kill the moon capaldi/jenna one?
Calling people incels on social media (apparently)
The tieflings should have engaged in non-violent protest. If only they'd thrown some soup at artworks on Earth, blocked civilian space traffic, then the poppy farmers would have stopped.
The season 6 watch parties were fucking awesome
same themes
much more nuanced
it's real
can RTD just fucking kill himself already
eh
they basically HAD to do the Rani eventually. maybe the double act bigeneration nonsense will be fun. overall i'm seeing this one as getting it out the way so we can all move on.
there aren't really a lot of 'named' characters. i guess Omega? probably the Meddling Monk, eventually?
Make Eurovision episode
Have the Palestine equivalent as the villains
Have Doctor torture them, something he hasn't even done to the Master before
The villain kinda just leaves at the end
Fucked the messaging up so bad that leftists are saying this story is defending the corrupt practices of corporations like Nestle
Kerblam 2.0 confirmed
"Grandfather I.. It's just..I did not know you could or would want to become one from the jungles. One from.. You know, the dark continent. Nevermind that you're a bum bandit. I mean, a fairy. Queen. Whatever they're called.."
Even though i hated the episode. Flood immediately turning into a submissive servant made me chuckle a bit. Could be a fun dynamic.
they basically HAD to do the Rani eventually
But thats sort of the point of the issue. The Rani and Omega have been every fan rumour since series 6. We were certain that it was Omega back then because of the Church/Silence insignias and ever since then it's been a mix of the two.
Now that we're actually at the bottom of the barrell and we've even roped in fucking Susan, there's literally nothing left. The wells gone hilariously dry
For me it's the sensorites, thankfully saved because RTD would rather fellate his own Ood shaped cock.
Skibidi Doctor!
Skibidi Skibidi Doctor!
Skibidi Doctor!
Who! Who! Who!
Skibidi Skibidi Doctor!
Rani's language!
Conrad! Conrad!
Conrad Turner is using the Rani's language!
Omega's language!
The Rani is using Omega's language!
Skibidi Skibidi!
written by a mentally ill troon who wants to teach kids how to use gay sex apps
episode has a muddy and morally questionable message
Who would have thunk!
If that faggot takes over as showrunner i'll shit myself.
Basically this but it happened earlier than Moffat, tumblr was already aware of DW and being cringe about it since Ten. I remember flame wars over those stupid little fat-eating marshmallow aliens and how "problematic" that episode was. But yeah it was with Eleven that it exploded in popularity there (one word: SuperWhoLock). Moffat already had most of his work cut out for him and he simply had to double and triple down on everything that appealed to the tumblrinas.
qrd?
Flood was the Rani
She bigenerated
New Rani is a Pajeet named Punjabi
Good thing Earth is destroyed next week, so the Daleks can't invade Earth a century from now.
It's been gay led since about 1978 but most of the time writers, producers and showrunners were smart enough to just make it a bit camp but mainly keep it pretty family focussed. Even JNT who was fucking flaming made the point of casting Nicola Bryant based on her tits as "something for Dad"
brown rani kinda cute
tfw Massa Davies whips out his warty chode
last episode had the World Wide Web
this episode has hyperlinks
Yeah she's hot as fuck
I thought Belinda was really cute when she was crying, too.
Guess i like indian women. Who knew?
the rani unironically
kek the desperation is palpable
I think Sutehk felt more desparate. Susan and Omega both is ridiculous though
lol
lmao even
Thank you, anon.
Palestine equivalent as the villains
Anon have you heard of Hamas?
Not like The Rani was even a major character, she was in 2 serials when Doctor Who was dying. Why not just make a new timelord. I just hope there's a cool story to why she survived The Master's genocide and of that was her who nabbed the gold tooth. Could be fun to see them together again.
how the fuck faggots kidnapped sci fi? I dont get it? How you niggers let it happen? WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK
We've still got to have the Monk as Fenric's minion. Also Azal from the Daemons. They could bring in the War Chief when the Master comes back.
Honestly I don't see the point of the loregrabs. Just fucking do two seasons of new original shit. What's even the point of the whole "Doctor Who is fantasy now" idea if you're just going to piss it away on increasingly obscure and irrelevant to normies asspulls.
licence for doctor who comics is given from IDW to Titan
We missed out on the Deep Space Nine crossover thanks to that. Fuck Titan.
Extra weird when the master was foreshadowed at the start of the era and nothings come of it. I get that moff overdid it with the cyberman but how long has it been since we've had a decent dalek episode? Fucking day of the doctor?
Knowing IDW they probably would have ended up doing something retarded like that Transformers/MLP crossover
I mean what else can you do with the Daleks? We have had "one sole dalek can kill the whole Earth!" thing twice with both 9 and 13, we have had daleks with a god complex, we have had half human daleks, daleks trying to blow up reality..
Like I said; What else can be done with a dalek story?
Whenever he does that face I feel the instinct to throw a fried chicken wing into his mouth.
Whait until you know what happened to coding or tabletop games.
Who?
BRING THIS CHAP BACK
he escaped Gallifrey and has been warning Dr Who about various key events throughout his lifetimes.
also introduce other-coloured Guardians, bring back the Eternal Dalek, reveal that the Veleyard is a bigeneration of Thirteen, resolve the cliffhanger ending of Class.
Im sure a good writer can come up with a new angle for the series most iconic villain. I thought I was bored of cybermen until moff pulled "time dilated space station means the cyberman are rapidly evolving so we gotta team up with two masters" out of his ass.
The Who/TNG crossover was decent enough, if fanwanky. From what has been said the DS9 would have been more of the same.
bleedingcool.com
It got an AI of 75. That's on par with Flux episode 3 for lowest of NuWho.
resolve the cliffhanger ending of Class
The school burned down and they all died. Fuck Class.
That would still be preferable than Titan's black Rassilon and Time Lords being genderqueer and all the other garbage they made.
Russell, is that you?
Only thing that annoyed me with that concept with Mondas cybermen evolving into Petes world/parallel universe cybusmen.
I mean how does that work? Did the writier just forget those cybermen are from a parallel universe?
Space Babies was bad but unironically better than The Devils Chord for the singular reason that it at least made sense. Funny that the story ended with Paul and John reading the notation, which they couldn't actually read in real life
To this day i'm still upset we never got a children in need/red nose day Doctor Who Red Dwarf crossover
Always felt like it would have been perfect
Titan's black Rassilon
That was DWM. From what I recall it wasn't even black, it was some tranny pajeet-looking thing.
kek
you didn't want to watch a Doctor Who spin-off about random teenagers and original monsters that had fuck-all to do with Doctor Who?
what's next, you don't consider Dark Season canon? you aren't hyped for a Sea Devils spin-off?
That one youtuber from a few threads ago had the idea of children in the work force of Victorian England being given cybernetic replacements for limbs lost to machines, resulting in a child army that would try to kill and assimilate their parents and soon the rest of London.
Did the writier just forget those cybermen are from a parallel universe?
Uhhh if you want to get technical, the ones from Blood of the Cybermen and A Good Man Goes to War are the prime Cybermen. The game ones at least don't have the Cybus logo - but the answer is that when you're on a budget, sometimes you've just got to use what's in the cupboard
POV: You are inside Russell T Davies' anus.
Moff already retconned on it series 5 or 6 that the petes world cyberman design also existed in the main universe, just sans-cybus symbol. I get your point but I took it to be like carcinisation, where even if they have different origins, the cyberman have inevitable patterns they'll eventually evolve into.
bring back the Eternal Dalek
I am reasonably sad we'll never get any real information on what its deal was
mite b cool. as long it's a spooky Children of the Corn type thing, not some annoying "kid army".
UMMMMM SWEETIE do you not know that the unnamed time lord in the timelsss child was said to be the original Rassilon and he was a proud black african just like the Doctor? xoxo
It was the Stone Dalek for what it's worth
Sorry, I meant Borusa. Titan had a black Borusa who is implied to be the original incarnation.
You now know this random black dude was cast as an extra because he "looked like Don Warrington"
Lol passive progressives are something else.
Doug Naylor always vetoed the idea
Makes sense for the "eternal" to survive (sort of) the end of the universe I guess
What else can be done with a dalek story?
I think this question really just points to a lack of imagination. You don't even have to be a professional writer to come up with an idea. Right now you could sit down with pen and paper for an hour a day for ten days in in that ten hours you'll come up with at least a couple good ideas. No concept is ever so tired that it can't be approached from a fresh perspective. Doctor Who itself was old and stale and tired as fuck before it came back as a mega hit. All it takes is to actually put in the effort which is where 99% fail.
Design a transgender time lord
Give them the weirdest, most strange looking masculine bone structure possible
What did they mean by this?
Audio Rassilon was Don Warrington. He was really good, too
Power ranger daleks should have been given a chance. Yeah the time war daleks look way better but bigger daleks with specialization is a fun concept
i remember Moffat being all winkwink about it in an interview.
he did NOT have a plan, /who/. he changed his mind on River Song to the point of retcons (the Singing Towers minisode that wasn't their REAL date).
doesn't help that people hated those designs, but they showed up in Asylum of the Daleks.
The youtuber prefers darker and more horror themed episodes with the cybermen so it def would be Children of the Corn like. I'm imagining a parent asking what happened to their child's arm and they just go "They saved me." And later when thry go to kill their parents saying "I'm here to save you too" Like maybe the cybermen also fucked with their minds so that the kids dont even know they are killing their parents. Like that one scene in ace attorney where the girl opens her mother's chest cavity with robot technology because she thinks humans can be repaired like robots.
Do you mean the prop? There were two Stone Daleks and they were made out of the Blue Strategist and the Orange Scientist. That's why these three are the ones that show up in Pandorica Opens.
Design a fun yellow dalek called the "eternal dalek" which is apparently it's role in the Dalek society and hierarchy
Have it never appear explain and never explain what it was all about
Such a waste
(the Singing Towers minisode that wasn't their REAL date).
thank fuck he changed that it was so dumb how in Time of the Doctor 11 just decided "even though I saw her die years ago just now Im acting like shes dead and Ill never see her again" with a wet fart of an ending, husbands was kino and even though I like matt smith it made it clear that he and alex were really lacking in chemistry
The teletubby colors didn't really help. Maybe if it was camoflauge patterns or a more subtle color marking in their heads and not their whole bodies.
doesn't help that people hated those designs, but they showed up in Asylum of the Daleks.
I think the problem is that no one really understood what they were supposed to be used like. You weren't supposed to see all the multicoloured ones in a row like how they were introduced. You were supposed to just visually recognise what their functions were based on colour - like Star Trek uniforms.
City of the Daleks was the only project that actually portrayed the paradigm Daleks how they were intended and for all that games problems, it really sold the idea of them
Don Warrington
I am against the idea of a black Doctor, and he is probably too old and just unsuited for what Doctor Who has become, but if you were to have a black actor in the role that is the type of actor you want.
I wish he didn't keep trying to sell Kenco coffee to the Doctor though, it was really out of character
In my mind it was either the paradigm equivelant of a time controller or it had all kinds of genetic samples and stuff so it'd be the one to survive and make more daleks when things inevitably went wrong
you really think he had no ideas for it? I always assumed the backlash to the designs made him throw his plans for them out. They looked cool in Asylum when they came back but with a metallic paintjob
I want Georgette Gold.
We have Georgette Gold at home!
Not a lot has radicalised me more than this show (and I'm only partially joking when I say that)
contains the DNA of pure Daleks so it can always make fresh ones
has the same convenient transmat thing from the end of the episode, except it can hide out in E-space
The teletubby colors didn't really help
They looked far better when they showed up again in asylum with the muted metallic casings and slightly tweaked proportions
Always thought it was fun at least that's it's a classic "The real river is dead" thing due to post Library river being a copy paste of her mind and not the real one. Like, she's just computer code. Not a real person. The real river burned to death in front of 10 screaming in agonizing pain but don't worry the Doctor just scans her corpses mind and copies it into a pc so all is well
we complain about black and woman doctors, but will we ever get an old doctor again? An older actor brings a totally different air to the character
Why did the show have an actor who's family survived a genocide torture someone else who in universe survived genocide? Feels like bad PR
he suggested he did in whichever interview it was. "...and the Eternal Dalek, aaah" wink wink.
honestly might have just been a name for some future writer to use.
The Doctor lost regeneration trying to work out what he's trying to tell himself by taking the face of the UK president of Pete's World in 2007 that was killed by the Cybermen
WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?!
I liked 'em. I remember getting a little remote control toy of the red one when I was a kid. Should also point out that though they weren't in the show a lot they were everywhere else in the early 2010s. There was the stage show, that graphic novel, the Experience, and all those video games like the Adventure Games, the DS one, the Wii one, and the PS2 one.
Still no bald or ginger doctor
This is unironic discrimination and just as the show claims to be at it's most diverse
Just lose the incredibly garish colors and go for the black, white, light blue, etc, but the same larger chassis. It was simple.
anon doctor who impacting you in any major way past the age of like 15 is not something you should admit
Well supposedly no because having an older Doctor in Capaldi SUPPOSEDLY didn't connect with audience and led to record low ratings
They'd beg for those numbers now
My guess is that the eternal dalek existed at multiple points in time simultaneously coordinating dalek strategy across the entire timeline so the doctor would keep encountering it
The plan was to hire a ginger actor to play this doctor but the casting director has some severe dyslexia
What’s with this obsession he has with gods now? It was cringeworthy to start with, but it’s been done to death.
why doesn't billie get some more surgery and fix her face?
But, anon, Eccleston was bald. RTD spelled it out in his minisode. He was also skinny. Take that, Chris!
The Doctor was originally a little black girl. This is canon and will never be retconned.
This makes sense actually. He might be the answer to the age-old question "what happens when the daleks win". The most pure dalek, the last life form left in the universe when the daleks win and start exterminating each other, the final eternal embodiment of the purity of the dalek from some dystopian timeline the doctor has to prevent.
It probably had more to do with the writing going to shit and becoming insanely repetitive (inb4 Moffat fanboys spew the whole "12's RUN IS THE BEST, JUST IGNORE THAT 60% OF HIS EPISODES ARE DOGSHIT AND 30% ARE MID)
I just want you to know that you did indeed get someone with that one. Well done mate
characters just come back as narrative/memory ghosts now, anyway.
one of those TV things i absolutely hate.
literally the only good thing chinball ever did was have the master dace to rasputin
I knew a lot of tumblr girls who lost interest when smith left, but I never really got how much the american audience factored into viewership
but I took it to be like carcinisation, where even if they have different origins, the cyberman have inevitable patterns they'll eventually evolve into.
That's how they explain The World Shapers, Spare Parts and the New Who origin co-existing.
Gods make writing easier because you can just handwave things with less words than you would have to with sci-fi concepts and technobabble
It bares reminding that RTD only cast Ncuti because of his fetish for him. And this also explains a lot of his casting decisions over the years.
Doctor, I have turned myself into a frog. I am now Froggy Grace. *ribbit*
Chris is a whiny faggot with body dysmorphia and so he deserves it. All Northerners are prideful faggots who can't take a joke.
man the cybermen are cooler than daleks arent they? I know the doctor using the screwdriver like a weapon is lame but 12 running around blowing them up while namedropping all the times and places he beat their asses owned
Didn't RTD admit that he only hired Russell Tovey to be on the show as he thought he was hot and wanted to fuck him? He even wanted him to be cast as the 11th Doctor before Matt Smith got hired at the last minute instead
man the cybermen are cooler than daleks arent they?
so was Danny Pink's great-great-great grandson never born now? felt like this was setting something up ¯_(ツ)_/¯
He's the singular reason the Russel Tovey kept getting work. He was even said to be in the running for Tennant's replacement if RTD stayed on.
Literally just because he fancied him. It's why that he's bizarrely in that Jack scene in the End of Time despite the fact that you probably don't remember the character. It's always been really out of place.
And here we are now. Brand new series with Tovey coming back again. Just because RTD fancies him because fucking christ, that man can't act
This is the main reason I don’t think he’ll cast a woman next (if he stays). He has form for this. Did the same with that lad in The Fires of Pompeii
youtube.com
My favorite Jack scene is in Torchwood in which he says he had a friend who was a he who became a she and how he thought it was really weird
Simpler times
Its pretty funny how virtue signaly rtd2 is when hes really not much more progressive than rowling
You know what, I'm coming around to the idea that maybe the Daleks should just be colourful and silly. There is kind of an inherent stupidity with taking them too seriously as a villain. Maybe Moffat was onto something.
If you can make them imposing, while also being kind of psychedelic and absurd, that could really work.
I think I'm kind of sick of the weird reverence the new series has for Daleks.
dude, they're like the ultimate killing machine! One Dalek is a threat to the entire earth
Is it though? Cause in the old episodes, one Dalek could be overpowered and pushed out of a window pretty easily. Or beaten up by a girl with a baseball bat.
Notice that every single good cyberman story is just a variation of Spare Parts. They're great but you can't really do much with them.
Oh believe me much as many of them won't say it for fear of being "canceled" there are lots of gay men out there who HATE trans male to female people down to them "not accepting that they're just gay men" and "stealing bi and gay men from us and our community" etc
Probably the same reason that no one knows what a Dalek is in Dalek in 2012 despite the Daleks invasion in the Medusa Cascade happening 3 or 4 years earlier.
its not like doctor who is often high-concept sci fy, there are like 5 types of doctor who stories they cycle through, might as well bring back familiar faces with it, just change the setting to keep the people happy.
he acted fine in being human
Both the Cybermen and Daleks peaked in the 1960s.
...him? With the ears?
holy shit theyre like us with tomboys lol
The Doctor was originally a little black girl.
Nah, he's Leela's son with Andred who fell into the Untempered Schism and regenerated into a little black girl due to that being very fucking fatal.
What a glowing endorsement
You don't have a cousin Frank.
He became Francine back in '76. Then he joined that cult. I think his name is 'Mother Shibubu' now.
a british 10 is a california 3
That was Toby Whithouse, not RTD. Although he too was quite virtue signally, what with that whole bit about the Doctor meeting a Muslim girl and acting like it's an incredible thing she's a Muslim while she reminds the audience not to be scared of her.
Did Gatwa really pull out of Eurovision because of Israel? Boycotting tonight's episode if true.
I don't know, Who had some exceptionally fine women in it over the years.
Script Editor and Executive Producer was who, again?
My favourite thing about that is the seething little behind the scenes note on the Tardis wiki page
tardis.wiki
also introduce other-coloured Guardians
for what purpose
autism increases the chance of having some sexual deviancy
Want to try and be progressive by putting in a muslim character in the show
Have them just be all "Have I mentioned i'm muslim? Not a terrorist by the way haha.. Islam.. haha.. I'm muslim"
It's like Bill reminding everyone every other sentence that she likes woman and is a lesbian
Wonder who the mystery old woman will be in Series 3
he wasn't amazing but he clearly can act
Script Editor
Helen Raynor
Executive Producer
Meaningless title, RTD was already busy with Doctor Who and getting SJA off its feet at the same time
youtube.com
tradgay TERFpop is kino.
They're Terminators made from people. They have that body horror aspect mixed with killer robot. youtu.be
Jenna Coleman is still on the top of my celebrity wife list all these years later
check talk page
only entry is someone asking if this "behind the scenes" bit is actually behind the scenes or just some rando whining
I listened to Spare Parts and Rise of the Cybermen seems nothing like it
I know it was the inspiration but I genuinely don't see any similarities beyond it being an origin story
The two parter with Capaldi and the original Cybermen was pretty great
Ok but "Black pampers" is a great name lmao
I've been saying it for a while but there's a war brewing because the LGBTQ group. There's too many different and contrasting idealogies in there for them all to get along. The troons are too invasive, the idealogy demands too much and too many changes. The TERFs are just the beginning. You can see it in gay TV shows like Ru Paul's drag race, the early series would be considered offensive now
one of them Chameleon Circuit lads is now a woman
the other one is a sex offender or something
What is it about this show?
"Why are you staring at me Doctor?"
Same editor wrote a fucking essay on the Tradwife article BTS, which otherwise would just be a sentence long without it.
There is kind of an inherent stupidity with taking them too seriously as a villain. Maybe Moffat was onto something.
So the Time War should've been against the Cybermen? The vampires? Or Omega like Big Finish was setting up in their Gallifrey series?
because once they've done the irritating "oh no all the multiverse timelines are converging and now the original Robin is alive again" nonsense, they can just go back to the status quo.
Nobody knows what the status of DC comics IS any more, that's why they're the example of what not to do.
I kind of like the troons more than I like the old queens. I aint gonna lie.
At least they're into anime, as opposed to pantomime.
what the fuck has this got to do with Doctor Who
Autism. No, but for real. Seriously. Around 20 to 30 percent of all trans people claim to have autism compared to just 1 to 2 percent of the general population
I can't believe they've finally done this just before the show is cancelled in a fucking Eurovision tie-in (and written by an actual tranny).
series 3
Not happening
would likely
don't they have actual policies against speculation, or something? we don't even see the character, it's a couple of daft lines lmao.
is Cassandra transgender/transsexual now?
lmao which one is a sex offender
Actually, yeah. The Timewar should have factored in a variety of races, as opposed to being centered on the Daleks specifically.
The Daleks are kind of too pompous and ridiculous to be a credible threat to the combined might of the Timelords.
I love clala
"When I was a little boy" says Casandra. Take that as you will
next big bad is going to be the Judeo-Christian God. screencap this.
They had to put 'fixes' in with Zero Hour less than a decade later. Infinite Crisis reversed the multiverse destruction after 2 decades.
In a sane world, I agree. However, …
What have cows, kettles, turnips, and bottle openers got to do with Doctor Who?
tardis.wiki
tardis.wiki
tardis.wiki
tardis.wiki
I just thought of those randomly and they had pages. The TARDIS wiki fucking insane and worthless. You get random shit like that, but no summarises on plenty of books or audio dramas.
To be fair that's also why JNT casted Colin Baker and most people say Baker was their favourite Classic Series Doctor. Even Nigel Farage said it once and he claims not to watch it because it got woke when Chris Chibnall took over.
there's definitely a pattern or even some kind of causation there.
which is weird as fuck because don't autistic people LIKE rules and structure and so on?
you were born x gender, with these set expectations because of gender roles.
Autism. No, but for real. Seriously.
thats nothing compared to the star wars wiki
I think it's allowed in behind the scenes sections, though there really should be a fine line with outright accusing writers of transphobia
Will unlikely change anytime soon though, just look at the wiki articles for Gareth Roberts and James Dreyfuss, they're complete messes that have twitter screenshots as citations and go into more detail about shit they've said online than their actual writing/acting careers
I disagree. The Stars Wars one may be autistic but, it is not being used as a general encyclopaedia.
When did Farage say Baker was his favourite?
It's because women wont fuck us. It drives you a little bit nuts, and everyone copes differently.
are you sure about that?
starwars.fandom.com
People say Tom Baker is their favourite, not Colin.
It's because women wont fuck us.
Because y'all are too ugly, weird and simpy. Be handsome, normal and strong.
en.wikipedia.org
doesn't even seem like he was charged, just 'manipulative'? fuck the internet.
the actor who played Adam was actually a sex offender, however. which means every male companion from the first revival series is now guilty of sex crimes.
Can't say I blame you
telling autistic people to "be normal"
You understand how this disability works?
Up to and including Journey's End they did a good job of making the Daleks a 'serious' threat (well, there were the pig-men). Then there was the negative reaction to the new paradigm and ever since then they've been a bit 'whatever'. I contend that actually sticking to a continuity for them (ie always explaining how and why they were in their current state) made them better.
they could get with other autistic people?
IRL most transgender people i've known ended up with other trans people, even if they were 'lesbians'. i really don't get it, but whatever.
lmao it got deleted
it'll be reverted though given that whole section was written by an admin
Among its many uses, a groomer could be used as a toothbrush
um ok
It's got more in common with Genesis of the Daleks right down to being created by a megalomaniac scientist in a wheelchair
the 'Graham Norton' article needs updating. there's only a 'real world' article, he now has a backstory in-universe.
what about rory?
The earlier drafts of Rise were very similar to Spare Parts, it was edited heavily by RTD.
So many more chicks playing Yu-Gi-Oh and speed running these days but somehow there's no new players?
Really makes you think
For in-universe celebrities they have separate articles with "(in-universe)"
tardis.wiki
Alright, which one of you was it?
Did the two guys in the senpai with 13th do something idk about?
This was a very good episode. Tight script, original monster gimmick, original setting, satisfactory resolution.
Feels like we haven’t seen that in a long time.
by
the first revival series
i meant series/season 1. i suppose you can argue Mickey wasn't 'a companion' yet if you go by the 'travelled in the TARDIS' rule.
wonder how much of this shit was what rustled Eccleston's jimmies. John Barrowman described him as a bit stuck-up and serious or something to that effect, maybe he just couldn't lock out images of Johnny B. getting his cock out.
he said they were doing shit like throwing burning couches out the window like they were a cheap 90s rock band, it sounds very juvenile
ohh neat. thought there'd be a tab or something like the Star Wars wiki with the two continuities.
tardis.wiki
Richard Dawkins had a wife, who was resurrected and lived in the City of the Saved.
all right, then.
I saw an interview where capaldi said it was one of his favorite episodes and he really liked that the doctor "won" by just figuring out the puzzle no techno babble no dues ex machina just by being smart
This post was made by Gary Russell
Was watching Eccleston in Cracker from the 90s the other week. He’s very good in that too. I’m glad he’s sticking to his guns and not coming back, because at least his Doctor hasn’t been sullied like Tennant’s. Seems Capaldi also wants to leave it in the past. Given the current scripts, that seems like a smart move.
Really good show.
REGENERATE
I guess you don't know me so well. I refuse.
Remember that show that Eccleston was in in which he played god or the son of god or some guy who thought he was one of those too? Was weird but fun and apparently was a big part of why he got cast as the Doctor
Autistic males outnumber females by 50 to 1.
plus, autistic women are total Uncle Toms who go for NT men half of the time
whats wrong with her face hm?
The Osirans
I think maybe they shouldn't be too serious a threat though. They're a threat if they have you in their sights, because they can't be reasoned with, but they shouldn't necessarily be so resilient that it basically requires a deus ex machina to take one out.
A lot of the fun of old Dalek stories is there was allowed to be some carnage, because it wasn't so difficult to shove one down a mine shaft or something.
