Way, way more of a brooding edgelord in the game. Ellie in the game cuts peoples throats, tortures them, etc. The show version is super lame in comparison actually, and I say that as someone who thought the game was trash to begin with. The actress in the show is doing a comically bad job.
I gave up in the beginning of season 2 episode 2. Who tf is this supposed to appeal to. The show is this tonedeaf mishmash of grittiness and CW teen drama. Why make a show about a gritty post-apocalyptic world and focus on some ugly annoying baby faced lesbians pretending to be tough. I almost want to tough it to watch my waifu Tati Gabrielle (sexiest mutt ever, the only chick I've seen pull off the nose-ring look), but nothing can save this crap, it's insulting to watch.
I like Bella's face though, her soft features reminds me of old greek statues. She needs a stylist though. At least wear her hair down. Get in shape and stop wearing terrible clothes, they must be making her look bad on purpose. She dresses like Hanna Gadsby in second hand walmart clothes that don't fit.

The problem with the show is that it hasn't done the flashbacks in correct order and they softened Ellie in the episodes before - she becomes more careless and annoyed with Dina and the entire city of Seattle as she's not able to progress as fast as she wants. So there's a lot of frustration that she unleashes on Nora.
