Dunk and Egg is very much not about rich niggas in castles. Dunk is a hedge knight, so basically one step above a peasant. Two of his adventures are getting accidentally caught up in the schemes of rich niggas and the third is him getting involved in a minor border dispute. Dunk is also a mostly straightforward portrayal of the classical chivalrous knight and that makes him based.
Anyone who hasn’t read the D&E graphic novels, go fix that shit right now. Amazing adaptations, especially due to incorporating the bright colors and heraldry that the show ignores.

HBO hasn’t said anything about it, people are just speculating that HOTD will be moved to 2027 as they probably don’t want to over saturate their line up for the year with asoiaf shows. HOTD would be ready in June 2026 at the earliest so pushing it to the end 2026/start of 2027 makes the most sense if akotsk is at the beginning of 2026.
