Sad Kleya edition
Thank god this pretentious
le star kids.. BUT FOR ADULTS
shit show is over
i laughed when the rebel council was arguing amongst themselves just like maya pei's retards did four years ago
When will we get SW content as good as this ever again?
ahsoka s2
Luthenbros…. Why did they do us so dirty?
We were supposed to ride into the sunset…
tfw no good star wars ever again
give me your best andor reaction images/webm
Partagaz shot his way out of the building
Lagret mind tricks the troopers to let him go
Need a sequel about these two
my only hope is the literally me movie
but it will definitely have a lighter tone than andor
not sure how happy i am with dedras ending desu
like ok she fucked up with luthens capture but sending her to the electric floor prison and thats it? she'll be dead in a month or two like we saw in season 1??????
Probably never. Just savor this moment anon. Ignore the screeching tards and enjoy your time with fellow andor enjoyer.
This is the sunset
Any webm requests?
Kino parallel, as one would expect from Gilroy-sensei
Luthen is the key to everything
i wouldn't hold my breath, s2 was already filled with slop filler after executives paid attention, i would think whatever comes after it would be mangled beyond recognitions by various boards
are you the guy that makes these?
you're based af and thank you anon
Episode 9 was good, others felt very unsatisfying for me
he's a better and a funnier character than we've ever had before
Andor is introduced as 'Rebel Intelligence'
he fucking sucks; wouldn't last a day in the ISB.
Chandrilan family values
forgotten in a week, like all pretentious things
Who else laughed during this scene?
How am I supposed to believe Cass & Kayla are siblings if they dont even look like the same ethnicity
I kinda like Dedra's ending. She is experiencing first hand how it feels to be oppressed for the first time in her life by the establishment she's trying so hard to protect. Realizing she's the baddies, mourning the lost of Syril, the one person who actually adores her. It's a breddy gud arc desu.
kino
what did Luthen bomb on Naboo ? it's a peaceful planet with almost no imperials
I don't know if I laughed that time, but K2 did get plenty of chuckles from me
all these plebs who think this is spin-off bait
Crack ass niggas who can't into themes and motifs not getting this was the answer to Andor's Make it worth it
After watching Episode 12, I hate the black dindu rebel leader so much
Doubt Andor
Gets actual intel of the Death Star
Acts like a fucking pussy in R1
JFC
Jar Jar
Rebel Intelligence
Ahsoka is the key to all this
my son...
Do nothing
Win
That chick from Taris? Yeah she can go fuck herself and I hope her planet gets blown up a second time
black dindu rebel leader
She's from Taris. IYKYK
youtube.com
don't forget to watch the last bit of required viewing for the season
kino shot
its just a bit anti-climactic, like we've been with this character for two whole seasons of which the second season spans 3/4 years of time and it all amounts to seeing her in a prison bed for 5-10 seconds in a place where she'll be dead in a matter of weeks assuming none of the prisoners find out her history
imperials are such jobbers its unreal
are you the guy that makes these?
I am one of the guys that makes these, the webms made before for these final episodes were by someone else btw
You got cucked hard
I stood up in front of my television and shouted KINO
for a lowly lieutenant he did really well, sad the only people that remember him will die and he will be forgotten, that's a real heroes fate for you
Airen Cracken
Kleya booba edition
I'll allow Filoni to memberberries one more time if he gets Malak to kill her and BDZ taris again
The whole backstory is what carries this show, Blandor and the rebels shit is slop
I WAS A GOOD DEPUTY INSPECTOR, I was very good.
Stellan Skarsgård had a stroke, was just repeating lines via an earpiece. Maybe there were originally more scenes, or they gave some of his dialogue to the switchboard lady.
It's like Alec Guinness doing silly twirls in the original Star Wars. Hire an actor who can do it, or accept that human beings in the real world age and struggle to perform tasks (including acting).
absolutely critical suspect may have been located, let's send 5 guys lmao
Say it
Another show ended without reaching its full potential.
Andor S1+S2 was "good", but for SW kid standards. Its just sad to think we did not have Saw cell blowing up Imp shit, Andor been a R.E.A.L spy, Luthen been more than just an old regreted Imp... Lots of cartridges wasted.
The pacing on both seasons were bad: not good in S1, terrible in S2. 24 episodes for 5 years? Arcs of 2 episodes with real 55 minutes each would be more than enough... Instead, 1 episode for hospital? 3 episodes for Aldhani? Almost 4 for Narkina? 6 episodes to blew up Gorman? Terrible balance.
In the end, looking all these scenarios and big cast for just 2 seasons in a timeline you can NOT use it again in the figture.... feels like a BIG waste of resources... This show could have been much bigger.
Had its moments (The Eye escape, Tie Fighter, K2 scenes, music theme), but was far from smooth. Filoni is pure cancer, but Gilroy is not that good.
Great pic.
SAGRONA!
Can we get some more screecaps of the large lad stormtrooper? Absolute unit.
Dedra has what it takes to stage a prison break!
dedra shows up in the galley
uh do you have anything you think isnt real?
I do have this peice...
pops a lightsaber straight through her head
what do you think about that?
ISB kicks the doors in and guns him down, deadman blows up the store
no felicity jones reference
I love her, and I love that they gave Abdor some force aura in the show
Starfighter, set after the events of The Rise of Skywalker, directed by Shaun Levy and starring Ryan Reynolds
it would be funnier if she just thought it was stupid evil
"okay so what you have dominance and this is what you use for it? this is comic book bullshit"
The whole table looked like it was filled by literal trannies discussing some linux patch
Glup!
stormtrooper
they are not stormtrooper they are ISB task forces
nice
more disneysloppa with ballsack looking TFA muppets and female empowerment
The second I detect they're trying to use Ryan to to stealth pilot the real, teenage female audience protaganist I'm leaving the movie
How the fuck did they get me into this series
Literally nothing happened this season
You know Andor is good because it is the first piece of EU content that doesn't have boxes that look like the ones from shadows of the empire
she was a con artist and 'Force healing' is a credit-spinning myth.
retard
questions everything about your credibility in your path
holy shit thats someones hand lol
who? the bald guy or the aryan chad?
Unironically, every male andor viewer was wetting his pants watching her
goon acting
Blandor:
4m40s scene. Cassian dumps a bunch of exposition about the Death Star that we already know and won't pay off in this show's narrative. They argue for 2 minutes about Luthen's trustworthiness. Bail Organa monologues about all the reasons Luthen is untrustworthy.
Nothing of strong narrative interest or importance is happening in this scene! The dialogue isn't particularly scintillating, and the character dynamics have to do with issues we've litigated a gazillion times already. Why are we burning time like this in the last episode?
The Phantom Menace:
3m30s scene. We establish the slave transmitters, the lack of Republic presence, explain podracing, Jedi reflexes, Qui-Gon reveals he's a Jedi, his death is foreshadowed, Anakin reveals his dream to be a Jedi, Qui-Gon's suspicions become apparent, and we set up the gambling plan.
It is very difficult to do all this exposition and character development in a 3m30s scene in a way that seems natural and can also hold an audience's interest. Lucas is an extremely skilled screenwriter in this regard. He knows exactly what he intends to do in every scene. People focus a lot on what they perceive to be clunky dialogue and miss how superhumanly keyed in Lucas has to be on the extremely complex mix of themes, character, plot, and exposition that has to happen at a very rapid pace in almost every scene. I think the cleverest trick in this scene is the way we transition from the talk about slave transmitters and anti-slavery laws directly to podracing--Anakin is visibly embarrassed by the slave talk and decides to change the subject to something more flattering.
LA HERMANA DE ANDOR
are they trying to make it sound all Star-Warsy, or do Americans not know what an ottoman is?
background lore is the best we got since original trilogy
one rape attempt and two suicides
Yeah, I'm thinking Star Wars
Ruined his character, completely and utterly.
It's canon now. She healed Cassian.
retard
Trying to keep the Empire steady while retarded Sith run it into the ground and hinder you in every way is just daily routine really
Don't forget the bodyshield
What exactly does Bail do for the rebellion?
.think that they needed a scene like that;
frankly a larger portion of the episode showing that Dedra had SOME affection for Syrill, even if she was more in love with power than him;
One is a boilerplate flowery political speech which boils down to "Lies are bad." The other is still being talked about 20 years later because it features two incredibly original characters (Jar Jar and Palpatine) delivering immortal lines that only one man could write.
Are you really telling me that when we let truth go by the wayside, we cede the narrative to whichever person yells the loudest? Wow, I've never heard it put quite that way before. These writers are incredible...This is literally just regurgitating language and rhetoric that you'd have to be a zombie not to have absorbed in some fashion over the past 10 years. Then they put it in the Star Wars show so you'd clap. It's just not original! There should be more than this.
And to be clear, the AOTC scene includes basic lines like: "I love democracy. I love the Republic." Yet everyone can hear these lines in their head! That's proof of how well-constructed the scene is on a *cinematic* basis. Neither scene is great literature, but one thinks it is! These could be perfectly acceptable lines for the purpose of supporting a cinematic narrative, but everyone involved obviously believes this writing is itself the accomplishment. But here I can say objectively, it is neither saying anything new nor saying it in an innovative way.
So where am I left with this speech as the centerpiece and, really, only matter of real interest in the episode? If I'm not impressed by the literary qualities of the writing, then I have little else to cling onto aside from how terribly Important it all is.
General Draven is the GOAT.
multiple senate scenes
cuts to other senators
shows it's being broadcast
where the FUCK are these little guys?
Ty. Shame we didn't get to see more of these guys door kicking. I kinda got The Mountain vibes from this guy just how he towers over his squaddies.
I can't believe they added my boy Glup
Wasn't this the mobsters wife? Kinda annoyed they didn't show the fallout on the Mothma Household, like I get not everything has to be explained but this was a pretty big deal, what happens after?
The episode 12 credits end with a Rebel theme, nice
What causes an anon to post the same thing each thread?
audience surrogate who knows what happens in rogue one
he's a bot
Praise Huang
psychosomatic wound.
Lucas is an extremely skilled screenwriter in this regard
I have a feeling that wasnt Lucas going by the sequel and it was some other competent screenwriter
They could have captured kleya successfully
bix is so fucking fine its unreal. really all the women in this show were so mint
ok bye guys, been real fun, see you all when ahsoka s2 comes out
Kinda hoped they'd all work mashed together like S1 but not this time
I think they are only called for important arrest, notice how they first try to stun them
so thats her name. my queen.
ahsoka
lol
Shame that Disney Wars are not canon.
I'm not watching that slop
why did the imperial comms not work in the apartment building?
its not about luthen, death star intel leaked through her. krennic is based for sending her straight to gulag
Its better than other characters who are just trying to be placed in slots for future continuity
faraday cage.
k2 killed the comms and the operator
mom, I posted it again
Ep1. Andor infiltrates the test facility. Mon Mothma prepares for the wedding, Tay Kolma starts to drift and become a risk. Bix, Willmon, and Brasso have to deal with the Imperial census. Ends with Andor fighting his way with the fighter, Mothma and Tay Kolma's second convo, and with Bix's conversation with Lt. Grapes.
Ep2. Andor contacts Kleya for the dropoff, she lets it slip that he musn't go to Mina-Rau yet, this pushes him to go straight there. Mon Mothma has the realization of what must be done about Tay Kolma. Andor and Bix's storylines join up in Mina-Rau. Ends with the dance, Tay being taken out by Cinta. We get the Krennic Submit at the end.
1 year skip
Ep3. Cyril infiltrates the Ghorman Front. Willmon helps Saw with the fuel extraction, says he must stay and help with the raid on the fuel station. Luthen gets warned about Ghorman, sends Cassian. Bix gets sent out on a mission by Luthen while Andor is in Ghorman to sabotage and kill the Gorst program.
Ep4. Andor meets up with the Ghorman, sees they aint ready comes back to Luthen, tells him. Saw and his boys attack the fuel station, Willmon gets high on Rhydo. Cinta and Vel get sent to Ghorman for the heist. Ends with Bix killing Gorst.
Ep5. Andor confronts Luthen about what he had Bix do. Cinta and Vel do the heist, Cinta dies. Syril's subplot basically stays the same.
1 year skip
Ep.6 Syril is deep in the Ghorman Front, still hasn't found the outside agitators. Starts to question things when the fuel station blows up in Palmo, and no one in the Front did it. Andor and Bix are in Yavin, Andor gets an emergency call from Willmon on Ghorman asking for help. He goes.
Ep.7 Ghorman Massacre episode.
Ep.8 Mon Mothma speech
1 year skip
Ep.9, focuses on Mothma and her new leadership position
Ep.10 deals with Dedra catching Luthen, ends with Kleya taking Luthen out.
Ep.11 deals with Andor rescuing Kleya
Ep.12 the resolution to the characters, finishing with Andor going to Kafrene.
There, fixed it.
brain juices flowing into the comms console probably didn't help
no thx
didnt they comment on the non-working comms way before k2 killed the ship crew
i thought to myself empire will collapse soon if it keeps killing off it's most loyal people like this
Syril never would have died if his bro was there to help him.
some of the most competent Imperials get destroyed by the Empire's own ruthlessness
Syril
Dedra
Dedra's protege
Partigaz
kino trope, done well
Total Frequency Jamming focused on the building
those were rebels comms that were killed by the empire
It basically does.
RIP to a real one. What would have happened if he hadn't pulled the trigger? Tortured to death by Palpy or a team of interrogators, or sent to an Imperial prison?
Jar Jar is the key to all of this
probably the former then the latter in that order
tortured to death for sure, like Dedra complained about to Krennic already
why would they jam frequencies and then keep talking about how their own comms arent working
i need to go back and i watch again, because right now i just feel like the plot needed the imperial comms to inexplicably not be online in order for it to work
kills himself while listening to Nemiks manifesto
kino
They did. The command center shut it down. It was the reason K2 abandoning the ship to go on a rescue mission.
Better to have retarded Yes-Men who won't be able to conceive of threatening you then component people. Not like anything can threatene the Empire 19 years in with all the jedi Genocided. Now time to go to the Byss Spa and soak in the blood of orphans
t. Emperor
He was actually going to meet Palps who was going to be like
Not your fault, bro. Personally wanted to reassure you that we are still cool and you have a place in the ISB.
My granddad was an airman who was captured and held in Dulag Luft. He tried to escape twice, they just put him back in. Right until the day he died he was obsessed with radios and aircraft engines.
Anyway it's not that exciting, how does Star Wars make the same concepts MORE boring than the ACTUAL war?
Syril and Loni should come back as force ghosts
they jammed all comms except their own which were relayed through their own ship by the guy in the chair, who gets killed by the robot
we can infer that the robot then turned off their comms as well
Prison is more likely, like Rampart
What a fucking coward.
Rampart
Who is that?
They were competent because they were allowed to think outside the box, however, that was also their downfall. Partagaz entertained Dedra's continuous bending of rules without check. Syril was an asset who was a true lawful character which never should have been allowed to be in such a grey area. Finally, Dedra's protege with his lack of ambition took a day off after having enough intel to go grab Luthen which let Dedra's glory seeking ruin the whole damn thing.
How is it anti climactic?
It is the perfect end for her. Her being ISB has resulted in so many sent to the gulags. Now she is the gulags herself.
How hard could it be to just track the emperors movements and blow up a shit he is travelling in
probably assigned to some boring planet. these last few episodes made the Empire cartoon evil again. oh well.
Something something he senses in the Force or gets a vision that saves him.
I liked when Dedra and Luthen confronted each other and she asked if everything in there was real.
He answers with something vague about mostly everything aside a couple items of questionable legitimacy, obviously highlighting his fake character he created for himself
demoted to janitor but still work the same floor
WHAT DEM CRACKAS EVA DO FO US SHIEEEEET
what does he even do?
he's a space wizard.
moms, I still have no retort
Reminder that this Motha is the one who completely disarmed New Republic and directly caused the rise of the Order.
fascism IS cartoon evil
How exactly did each of the members on that Rebel Council get their position? Who appointed them - themselves / each other? Like I can understand Draven being a general and Raddus being a admiral could be considered effectively warlords who brought stuff with them, but what about the rest? Mon symbolic because she gave a speech? I do not see how she is still bringing funds now. Bail may be providing stuff, but exactly how much? What about the guy with the beard and the black lady who were both being bitchy? With this leadership I am not convinced I would want to throw in with them.
Didn’t care for this show, not gonna lie.
After watching Andor and seeing the scale of the Imperial machine, how thorough they can be and how much sweat and blood and shit goes into greasing the Rebel cogs, it feels very jarring this all ultimately boils down to A New Hope and everything hinging on a desert farm boy and a wise cracking smuggler being in the right place at the right time, and then sneaking through the Death Star pretending to be storm troopers.
guy responsible for the removal of clones, palp fuck him over to force more quicly the stormtrooper program youtube.com
they should have had a straight up RPG on the shelf that he picks up and blasts her with non chalently
Galaxy is 2big
I want Dedra to whip me
didnt ask
It is cartoon evil by the design of the Evil Wizard Pope to empower his papacy
a shit he's travelling in
Palpy's eccentricities never cease to amaze
He and Dedra completely misread the rebellion, missing the freedom and hope part, focusing solely on Axis spy games.
Incredibly based.
I never understood the point of this. The clones already were going to age quickly, and that is more than enough of an excuse. The military in real life has a high turnover just from people ending their whatever year contract, Palpy could have just given the clones a small pension and a plot of land on some backwater and then told them to fuck off.
why did partagaz kill himself?
Just because everybody simp for her does not mean she's immune to consequences. That's what makes it kino. She thinks she's relevant to the galaxy by maintaining order, when in reality, she’s just another literal speck of dust being tossed away like garbage.
He pretty much took over the Jedi Temple and stayed there reading through the holocrons, doing rituals and other space wizard shit till he finally came out to oversee the Death Star II's ambush on the rebel fleet.
I asked.
Mon would be the easiest fit what do you mean? On top of bankrolling the rebellion and doing whatever other stuff for them through the senate she obviously has experience with politics.
zesty faggot got what he deserved.
too well-respected, nobody else would do it for him.
The guy from Hobbit?
he was either going to get tortured to death or tortured and gulag'd
Presented without comment.
i wish they should bix and Andor fucking on screen
and you can see everything
Empire cartoon evil again
The Empire is led by a dark wizard that is into evil for shits and giggles, and the foundational film has them destroy a planet just because they can. They are both explicitly and underlyingly over the top evil when competent.
Tracking a giga space wizard. Vader's mentor and protector.
kek
Take your pick from: sense it is more honourable than to face court marital, to save himself from tortured, in a way an act of rebellion.
Kennedy has bad story ideas but she's better when giving freedom (except for Acolyte)
No one comes back from a Byss Retirement Plan
well, alright.
VERY early novelisation stuff, he was just some puppet bureaucrat. then he was an evil sorcerer. after the prequels, i thought he'd be in the Senate still. some larger pod in the centre, cackling away.
right, so i misremembered the exact sequence of events; they do only comment on borked comms after k2 has killed the pilot. imperials are still turbo jobbers and the plot still relies on them being hilariously incompetent in order to progress.
Will of the Force >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> contrived plans and scheming of little, insignificant plebs, who are nothing more but tools in the grand design
Draven was probably an Organa asset. Mothma basically bankrolled the whole rebellion. Mon Calamari's brought the ships since they have the one of the two largest shipyards in the galaxy. Organa and Mothma were basically the ones that began with the idea of creating a way to fight back against Palpatine, alonside Padme in that one deleted scene from RotS so they've basically started the political side and funding for the rebellion. The other two are just Rogue One OCs.
The Americans is better than Andor
This is the type of shit boys like. Shame the series took so long to give us this stuff.
running symbolism of water representing freedom (especially in narkina)
lonni dies by a fountain on coruscant
safe house hallway is dripping with water
kleya gets up from her sickbay and walks out into the rainstorm on yavin
bravo tony
"I LOVE HOW THIS SHOW DOESN'T HAVE LIGHTSABERS"
*lightsabers attached to a fucking ship*
"I LOVE HOW THIS SHOW DOESN'T HAVE THE FORCE"
*a force healer shows up*
"I LOVE HOW THIS SHOW DOESN'T HAVE FANSERVICE"
*Star Wars main theme plays at the end of last ep*
You retards will lap up any slop.
Owari-Da
if only the empire had invented facial recognition, the rebellion could have been defeated in the first episode of season one
i knew the second he decided to show off dagger as questionable he's going to kill her or himself
There is plenty of stuff that is better than Andor. What's your point?
this 100%
Funny how THIS IS SRS SHOW FOR SRS INDIVIDUALS SUCH AS LE SELF goes out the window when people rightfully ask why the empire is depicted so schizophrenically
Hundreds of shows are better then Andor, doesn't make it a bad one.
After watching Andor
This garbage isn't canon. Most rebellions are thrown together half assed at the last minute. All this planning nonsense is some BBC Parliamentary bullshit.
then they could just find one of those changlings that showed up briefly in attack of the clones and never again in any star wars media
Just to put it in perspective, even in the ridiculous WH40k, actually destroying a planet was unspeakable deed.
Yes, Imperium would exterminate all life on a planet quite often, but there would be plans to terraform it after few centuries.
Destruction of a planet was quite rare even in setting so comically over the top.
How exactly did each of the members on that Rebel Council get their position?
The show was too busy showing a wedding for 3 eps....I can't believe people are praising this shit.
imperials are still turbo jobbers and the plot still relies on them being hilariously incompetent in order to progress
You can't just erase lore meme. Oldfags will screech if suddenly all of them are competent.
That’s because Gilroy doesn’t understand Star Wars and doesn’t want to.
Weitz and Edwards were responsible for just about everything good in RO, it turns out.
bail using the word shit was one of the most jarring things for me.
I can't remember swear words in star wars before.
There are people that praise the wedding?
I love how this show doesn't have lightsabers. I love how this show made the Force obscure. I love how this show have shit ton of nepocreativeism.
What do big black cocks have to do with parliament?
massive insult each episode was barely 40mins. we didnt even get to see andor go to the ring planet/station at the beginning of rogue one. also, not having the OG bail organa actor totally ruined his character. massive aura is missing without him in this. its also weird knowing during all of this he was also very recently (few years or so) with obi wan, getting leia to alderaan and luke to tatooine. and he just kept that hidden from everyone on yavin.
The Imps jobs a little too much in the last arc. Krennic insists on them plastering Kleyas face everywhere and then when they track her down they send one tac team instead of swarming the entire housing block with teams.
Didn’t care for this show, not gonna lie.
It's a show built in a lab for bledditards that love to say shit like "I'M SORRY THAT MUH ADULT STAR WARS DOESN'T HAVE PEW PEW LASERS AND LIGHTSABERS. MAYBE TRY THE MCU"
Oldfags will screech if suddenly all of them are competent.
They literally were throughout the entirety of the original trilogy, though?
After watching Star Wars A New Hope (Episode IV) and seeing the scale of the Imperial machine, how thorough they can be and how much sweat and blood and shit goes into greasing the Rebel cogs, it feels very jarring this all ultimately boils down to Andor and everything hinging on a runaway rogueish spy pilot and a two-faced affluent ex-soldier with a vengeance being in the right place at the right time, and then sneaking through the Death Star plans with a newly-picked up girl who says "I rebel" pretending to be officers.
The newer interpretations which include the sequels is that he was basically there and sending teams to collecr holocrons from various sites across the galaxy so that he could find a way to soul transfer or whatever the fuck he was trying to do to essentially live forever as is the case with his return in Ep9.
Reminder Kennedy's skillset is as a producer but she keeps wanting to stick her jew nose in and demand various changes.
also why did they argue for so long in the apartment. makes no sense. "OHHH I DONT WANNA GO TO YAVIN" like wtf? your about to be arrested and get brain raped for everything you know, why would this cause any delay?
There are people that praise the wedding?
They are praising the show (the wedding was in the show). The other anon asked a good question about how those people got on the Rebel Council. Could have been a good small storyline....instead we got hippy wedding shit.
Not everything has to advance the plot.
Honestly modern TV is lacking in just showing off things like this for their own sake.
i also feel like dedra essentially letting luthen kill himself and destroy evidence, because she wants to grand stand in front of him needed more build up.
Gonna go watch some real Star Wars, need some
palate cleanser after this crap.
Street executions, slave labor and genocide, now THIS is kino!
See
relationship between luthen and yavin needed more exposition.
I don't disagree anon, it's just that I watched Rogue One once when it first came out and don't remember it that well, so the difference in tone between Andor and George Lucas's Star Wars: A New Hope (1977) which I have seen several times sticks out more in my mind.
I do remember not liking Djinn Asshole very much.
it be like that sometimes. You get the figure heads, the decelerated heroes. Then you get the millions of dead no one remembers.
Well that was missing. Andor was the perfect show to get into Rebel Council stuff, and we only got some tension with Saw and not much else.
Something with Mon Mothma trying to get the other rebels from all over space to work together on making Yavin properly liveable for rebels and refugees etc could have been a whole episode.
Because partagaz was sending the whole other troops to hunt her down in other places. They are scattered allover the place and the comm was down also by his order. He fucked up big time.
6 > 4 > 3 > 1 > 5 > 2
Not everything has to advance the plot.
But it shouldn't be unwatchable garbage either. The wedding is absolutely the worst segment of the show...and it went on for 3 eps.,...
Never has the OT been more appealing for me to watch. normally i always rewatch ep 3 but now i wanna see 4 and 5 again. 5 is so kino its unreal. its like everything good from the prequels and OT without the prequel goofyness
Gonna go watch some real Star Wars, need some
palate cleanser after this crap.
It also yields nothing.
4>5>6>3>1>2
They had a location for a possible lead. They didn't know she was 100% going to be there. They just had a signal.
Luthen was basically her father, she's glitching out. She was able to keep it together to get into the hospital and pull his plug, and then to get out a signal to Andor, but she wasn't able to keep it together after that.
This is the "great" writing of Andor
Mon Mothma gives speech about genocide
talks about how "If it happened once it will happen again"
ignores the fact that the Jedi were genocided 20 years ago
Ok. So we can 100% blame her for the sequel trilogy, The Acolyte and the other dogshit content released. Thanks for Andor but you also shat on my plate.
3>4>5>1>6>2
Chuds realizing at the last second the problem is Filoni, not Kennedy
10 = 8 = 9 > 7 = 12 > 11 = 4 = 5 = 6 > 1 = 2 = 3
kek so many speedwatching retards
Syril's turn was shit. In reality he would have just gone along with it, fucked Dedra and got a promotion.
I hope someone at Disney didn't listen to Mike from RLM because he was bitching that Syril should have turned good in season 1.
I'd accept that part is too long in itself, but I'd also say that the show could have had more world building like that in other areas.
In the other thread I was saying that we missed out on 'comfy / terrifying office politics at the ISB kino'. And we missed out on someone trying to get the rebels to organize properly on Yavin, instead it seems like it just happens.
A few more things like the reception where they had to fuck with the artifact so Krennic wouldn't spot the transmitter as well, that was excellent.
eh that show drags really quickly and you start noticing the late 2010's russiagate hysteria with none of the irony that the US basically raped the former USSR;
Mon Mothma gives speech about genocide
Needs to happen because of Rebels being canon
jedi
became a myth due to empire propaganda, masses and senators won't believe it and would use it as attack against her credibility
Jyn Erso comes across as a random Mary Sue after watching Andor
Yeah theres a huge elephant in the room with andor and rogue one when you understand how drastic everything is in episode 3. like its all played off as small little thing that hardly anyone remembers. the confederacy? the jedi temple? the clone wars? whats that?
yeah she kinda steals the show from andor when really the whole movie is his doing. this is weird, normally retcons are to make male characters retarded and actually a woman is taking over now, this time its in reverse.
Just say you got filtered by Syril's character and you didn't understood him.
well... she is
It's just that her switch in attitude was quite abrubt when compared to Andor who's had years to get to where he did in terms of mindset for the rebellion. One moment she was plucky runaway who got captured and questioning the rebellion, the next she's willing to throw her life and more at the success of the rebellion minutes after witnessing her father's death with no time to process it.
Needs to happen because of Rebels being canon
Legit don't give a fucking shit. It's retarded that Disney is tying in these fucking cartoons to live action.
became a myth due to empire propaganda,
Literally impossible. Senators serve long terms. That propaganda might work on the masses, but the Senators worked with Jedi, met them, read/wrote reports on them, etc. Mon Mothma was giving her speech to the Senate.
Shit fucking writing.
Confirmed beyond reasonable doubt:
Kleya = Andor’s sister
Luthen = Syril’s father
Bix’ rape baby = Poe Dameron
he was pathetic from day 1. in the convo between him and his corpo boss, nothing to like about him. he was a low level zogbot and wasn't even good at it. hes not likeable, hes morbidly fascinating. a warning
she is but this is a fantasy show so the complaint is moot
Just shut the fuck up about having the jedi forced in every single star wars property. If you want jedi to be the focus so much, go watch acolyte and star wars theory.
there's also the fact that at the start of the movie she like doesn't give a fuck about the rebellion but then she is makins speeches that get everyone pumped including Andor and his crew, which comes across as goofy and naive
Just say you got filtered by Syril's character and you didn't understood him.
He was a victim of the Imperial system through upbringing. His turn didn't make much sense. He wouldn't be able to undo his programming like that.
senators
The Andor show literally show what happened as soon as you say or think something against the empire, a senator was arrested on screen mate
A fate worse than death.
ignores the fact that the Jedi were genocided 20 years ago
Hundreds of people of some weird cult
vs
a planet's population
because of Rebels being canon
nobody cares about your fanfic filoni
in the context of the movie its fine, its simply that with Andor in mind it just exposes how silly it is
she was trained by saw as a soldier wasn't she? at least there's kind of an in universe explanation
Just shut the fuck up about having the jedi forced in every single star wars property.
Uh, you can't ignore a major genodice that happened 20 YEARS AGO when you are talking about genocide in your speech, retard. How would you feel if this show ignored the Death Star? Some things are just too big to ignore
inserts force healer
You lose retard
the jedi are a sect of 10,000 magical religious warriors not a planet of hundreds of thousands of fabric weavers
many such cases. i'd rather not watch rogue one again because i have a positive and enjoyable memory of it and i dont want to taint that.
became a myth due to empire propaganda,
how is that even possible they had like a billion year rule.
he bails
Kleya = some random chick
Luthen = some random dude
Bix’ rape baby = some random baby
The Andor show literally show what happened as soon as you say or think something against the empire, a senator was arrested on screen mate
Uh, I'm talking about Mon Mothma....who gave a speech about genocide attacking the Empire, but didn't mention the Jedi genocide. It's so fucking retarded.
now that i think about it. its likely jyn was with Saw's group in season 1, or before we see them when Luthen meets them. since he finds her on that planet in the bunker probably around the same time.
Nah its normal for bunny teeth English women to be that strong.
Of course he would. He always wanted to do the right thing. That was the whole point of his arc from the get go. It was his defining motivation. He thought he was helping and then watched innocent people he was trying to protect get slaughtered by the empire he loved. It was the key difference between him and dedra.
Jyn Erso
She was one of the original prototype to the girlboss era. Not too in your face yet, but it's already there.
by Mary Sue i am not really talking about her combat abilities but rather how the plot seems to revolve around her, being the key, inspiring everyone, and even making Andor deeply care about her relatively early into the movie when if it was any other character she would have just let her to die instead of risking everything
FUCK DUDE why does the Empire era have to look so good, all the set design and how the characters acted just made me wish we could have another trilogy with the same style/aesthetic, but nooo fucking ST completely destroyed that idea from ever happening.
GOD FUCKING DAMNIT WHY DID THIS HAVE TO BE SO GOOD I SWEAR TO GOD IF THEY MAKE THE RYAN GOSLING MOVIE SHIT I AM LITERALLY GOING TO
Did he teach her how to huff gas?
Gilroy should remake OT or at least prequels
Did she know about Jedi genocide? You know if it wasn't for her being part of the rebellion she wouldn't have known about Ghorman genocide. That's exactly what her speech is about. There were a lot of imperial crimes buried because the truth was banned from the galaxy.
This is what partagaz realized before he died. Rebellion will be a endless fight while anyone sitting in his position will be disposable for any failure
Hundreds of people of some weird cult
Irrelevant. And it was 10,000....and kids....
"Dude it's only 10,000, totally not a genocide!" If somebody goes to one of those obscure islands where small tribes of a few hundred live cut off from civilitation and kills them, is that not genocide?
I'm afraid you have been sentenced to, as they put it, "bust Papa Palpi's crust"
...may I have a moment to collect my thoughts
Saw adopted her, turned her into an extremist rebel and she ran away.
YOU HAVE NO PROOF ANON
she ran away
nope saw and his crew abandoned her
so all prisons are the same? its weird dedra is in the same style prison andor was in. and she knew that was gonna happen? she shouldn't charged the first stormtrooper she saw after leaving the isb building, suicide by cop sort of thing
kleya: probably
luthen: head canon
bix's child: that boy is white, tho
i hope bix dies during rogue one. fuck the wheat planet.
He loved order, structure, and justice. But after learning that he had been lied to by the very things he sought to protect through his entire career and being, it broke him. He was told he was on Ghorman specifically to lure in and capture "outside rebels", but then finally learns that their true aim has nothing to do with that.
Dedra, should have just done a better job.
Cereal banged Enza
Deal with it
Irrelevant
No that's relevant.
if someone killed off everyone in the us army including west point cadets, thats mass murder but not genocide
Nice trips, but with all the chaos that was going on around him, which he himself helped create, your arch enemy on his knees about to be killed in cold blood by you, asking yourself "who am I?" seems pretty self-destructive to me.
>Bix’ rape baby
It's that ape dey fly now
We ran out of bread. I repeat. WE RAN OUT OF BREAD.
Thread
lieutenant
did you even watch the show?
He's a true lawful character with all it's faults. He was never behind the curtain seeing how things really were. In his mind, the rebels were the ones that were evil. Outside agitators coming in to pour poison about the Empire in Ghorman's ear. There was never going to be a turn good for him because in his mind he always was. Up to the point where he saw who the people that were pulling his strings really were and it broke him.
no shit
This.
I don't know how I can go back to star wars now, broskis. Andor is just... so good. The rest of star wars banal poorly written kiddie shit pales in comparison.
Rouge One and Andor are literally the best Star Wars. Finally, Star Wars for adults that is not embarrassing to watch. Everything else is fucking embarrassing. Honestly, go watch A New Hope, or even Empire Strikes Back - dogshit dialogue, hokey acting, shit action, goofy ass cringe shit all around, quips. Nothing on the level of Stellan Skarsgard or Andy Serkis. Nothing like impeccable Gilroy's tone and atmosphere. Star Wars is a dead fossil, and it needs to be rebooted. And Tony Gilroy is the right man. Everything else is fucking dogshit and terrible. You know I am right.
Let Gilroy remake the original trilogy and go from there.
Decanonize everything else except Andor and Rogue One.
Seriously, who wants this dumb shit?
Stupid ass MCU quipping teenagers taking down the Empire? A farmer boy? Fucking retarded kiddie garbage nonsense.
KK can redeem herself if she fires everyone except Gilroy and his team and reboots Star Wars to proper standards (such as Rogue One and Andor).
Hereby, I declare official Star Wars canon for mature sophisticated adults with taste:
Andor
Rogue One
his entire job is sickness curing. he says it in his very first appearance.
the ISB is supposed to stop shit before it spreads. ultimately he failed miserably. and that is all that matters to high command and he knows it. it doesn't matter how good of a job he's done, it's "what have you done for me lately?" and he hit a losing streak.
new worlds joining rebellion every other day
nemik manifesto being broadcast everywhere and the ISB can't stop it, which is their literal mandate
your rising supervisor fucked up capturing axis who is the godfather of the entire rebellion
your OTHER supervisor was a deep plant rebel spy for at least half a decade+
secret imp doomsday weapon no longer secret
shit unraveled at a record pace in the homestretch
there was 0 chance vader or the emperor would let that shit side. MAYBE tarkin sends him to the gulag but at that point you're too smart of an asset to chance to not have contingencies, so better off to just kill him. partagaz knew it, his #2 knew it and gave him the chance to take the suicide way out. absolute kino character arc
Perrin got the best girl, Davo Sculdun’s wife
Rogue One is such memberberries slop, I knew whatever this show did it wouldn’t magically redeem that movie
the fact that she'd leave her husband for her in-law, you know she's a super freak in the sheets
based perrin
His line to Lagret about how much Nemik's manifesto has spread pretty much brings it all around. Down to the same shots of his first introduction in Ep4 of S1 but now with the entire briefing room empty. It was honestly one of the best character resolutions in the whole show.
Not to mention that a few days later, there's the events of Rogue One and A New Hope shortly after that. Dude is 100% fucked.
To be fair Felicity is fine though
They jammed non essential frequencies, pay attention
