EXCLUSIVE: YouTube has further cracked down on fake movie trailer channels.

The video giant has suspended ad revenue on Screen Trailers and Royal Trailer, two alternative accounts run by the creators behind Screen Culture and KH Studio.

YouTube’s decision to suspend the channels from its partner program follows a Deadline investigation that chronicled the scale and sophistication of fake movie trailers.

Screen Culture and KH Studio were suspended in March. They are two of the most prolific purveyors of concept trailers, which rely heavily on AI to drive engagement and, in some cases, fool users into believing the videos are authentic. Screen Culture and KH Studio were approached for comment.

Are you not curating your feed? I.e. when something comes up that you don't like, NOT using the built-in feature for selecting "I'm not interested in this/don't show me suggestions from this channel again"? Without doing that simple task, YouTube is practically unusable, so why bother using YouTube at all at that point?

YouTube has a ton of problems, but one of the few things they have apparently done correctly as far as I've seen is that the functions that modify the Algorithm that suggests videos to you actually DO work, and do so with very, very little comparative effort.

there is a huge difference between making an interesting trailer remix that is enjoyed on it's own creative merits vs. some ai shit made solely to trick people into watching it. one of the main reasons we have copyright is to prevent confusion on the market, like someone pretending to be another brand, and jeets are intentionally exploiting people's confusion.

I have a long running theory that the caste system is basically poorly implemented eugenics that ended up having the opposite effect. See high caste couples would keep their gene pool pure by only breeding with each other. The problem is the low caste. What should have happened is that a lot of them should have been sterilized to keep the population manageable. But they were allowed to breed without limitations. So while you end up either high caste families protecting their gene pool, the low caste just keeps multiplying and multiplying and eventually your entire country/race is seen as a joke on the internet.
