I saw one on Netflix run by some youtubers and the entire cast was influencers. The gimmick was you could take from the prize pot to buy stuff but it was overpriced - like $1000 for a red bull, shit like that.

There were like 2-3 people who were smart about not spending money and everyone else was a fucking idiot and completely drained the prize pot. Then the guy who was the biggest retard of all ended up being one of the winners but only got like $75k because dummy couldn't last a week without buying 7 $1000 red bulls for himself

BB9 was a "showmance" themed season and was an absolute trainwreck

unless they mean a hippie thing by "summer of love"

yeah, i see everyone is saying it's another season 9 thing but if it sucked i doubt they'd do it again

they could give the theme another try, bb9 sucked for a couple reasons:

twist (a secret couple was in the house) was ruined real early when a black guy starting hitting on the girl

house was very mean and bullyish, mocking a contestant who's dad committed suicide

despite the "showmance" theme, there was really only one super-slut giving lapdances to guys

it got stupidly religious towards the end, "do it for jesus" bullshit

and then of course the winner decided to spend his money on starting a drug empire after calling kids "retards" on feeds

s8's winner (evel dick) was basically a giant asshole the entire time, grodner kinda worked her magic to make sure a couple twists went his way and ended up winning

so basically people came into s9 thinking america wants them to be complete shits all the time, made for an extremely toxic season that's only matched by s15
