Fantastic Four are suppose to be at the show, but Being John Malkivich's character is trying to destroy new york and they have to stop him and his gorilla minions, this is the opening action sequence

After fight Invisible Woman learns she's pregnant, Johnny and Ben learn at their 7pm family dinner. Reed is worried about being a dad, but sue confides in him

Later in the story on Halloween night a meteor shower rains down along with The Silver Surfer

Silver Surfer is confronted by Fantastic Four, she informs them their planet has been chosen for consumption by Galactus, she leaves, Johnny tries to chase after her but fails cause she escapes to space

Reed frantically tries to figure out some way to save Earth, but he doesn't have enough time to hide earth or stop Galactus' arrival, the only option is to go to space where he is and confront him and try to stop him before he gets to Earth

The Fantastic Four go back to space and travel to a planet that is being consumed by him. Invisible Woman goes into labor in space and gives birth. Galactus see's their child is a super powerful mutant and tells them if they give him the child he will spare earth, Galactus wants to use the child to revive his universe, his universe existed before big ban and using Franklin's powers he can revive it (Franklin is like a OP Omega level X-men in the comics apparently, I don't read comics)

Sue refuses to give up Franklin, public learns that they are all gonna die because of this and turn on the Fantastic Four. They storm the HQ in a sequence like the capital riots a few years back and they kill HERBIE

Sue and Franklin take refuge underground with help of Mole Man who is like a villian-turned-ally of the FF

Fantastic Four discuss giving up Franklin and the threat they are up against, eventually Sue gives a big speech about how they will save the earth as a family and the four agree to fight Galactus as he arrives on Earth

Galactus and Silver Surfer arrive in NYC, mole man helps FF and takes people underground to keep them safe from galactus

Galactus destroys statue of liberty and goes to Baxter Building, he and silver surfer begin to construct a device that will transform earth into a succulent meal for him to consume

Fantastic Four learn this and plan to destroy the device

Silver surfer fights them, they manage to convince her to stop Galactus after she see's little baby Franklin and her guilt for killing countless living beings overcomes her

She tells the fantastic four they can modify the device and it will basically will cause Galactus to be blinked out of existance into a void universe

Everyone fights Galactus, distracts him, Reed modifies machine. Silver Surfer sacrifices herself and she and Galactus basically get sucked out of the universe, Earth is saved

Movie ends back at talk show recapping events a year later at the "Five Years with The Fantastic Four!" celebration. During talk-show New York comes under attack again and the four speed off to save NYC again

Post credit scene is Fantastic Four getting ready for dinner when an unexpected guest arrives, Reed's old college roommate with a bottle of Latvarian Wine, a glass poured for him and Sue as the two talk at the dinner table while the other three watch, Reed most anxiously

Doom basically plays all sides and gets Avengers and X-men to fight each other into a weakened state, then he goes to TVA and overthrows loki and uses loki's new god powers and TVA to make army of doombots that wipe out Avengers and X-men and reforms the unvierses into one super world where he's emperor, latveria is the strongest country, and the worlds are basically in perfect harmony under his fascist rule. He gets his face all fucked up overthrowing and killing Loki so he dons the mask at the very end.

2005 film used a space accident and Victor Von Doom was involved, the film then focusing on the slow transformation of Victor while the characters suffer.

2015 film used dimensional travel and Victor Von Doom gets left behind with the team then scattered and exploring body horror elements.

We wouldn't have gotten films like Christopher Nolan's Batman if they'd skipped the origin. A competent writer would incorporate the origin and tell a new story. The origin in this case could have been tied to Galactus, perhaps this time their powers result from something they do which effectively acts as a beacon for Galactus.
