not make an effort, within or outwith the confines of the law, to completely get to the bottom of foggys killing

fuck with the judge/motion in limine the way he did. he was a good lawyer but a fairly by the book one, not harvey specter

out hector ayala without at the very least consulting him first (he literally showed up in she hulk advocating the importance of preserving vigilantes secret identities? which is not to say she hulk nailed his character but clearly the mcu previously understood that was something that was important to him)

be so reckless with his own identity. in less than one season of this more people have learned hes dd than in the whole netflix run

give a fuck about a petty thief getting 30 days. fundamentally believing in the system is core to matts character. that belief being shaken is a source of conflict for him but that doubt comes from shit like fisk buying his way out of jail, not a man who committed a crime facing punishment

the entire bank episode (and the way he handled the cops in ep2). if hes sworn off being daredevil, functionally being daredevil just without the suit is a retarded loophole

after over a year of listening to every violent crime occurring in new york city and just sitting by, come back to being daredevil for some girl he met like twice. also retarded that this is the most pivotal moment of the story the show is trying to tell as he struggles with the daredevil identity and then literally just goes "fuck it" and ok now hes daredevil again because he just is okay

Season 3 of Netflix was the real Born Again adaptation, the name of this season is more so just trying to let the audience know he’s back.
I liked the suit. Makes sense that he wouldn’t have a full ass super villain suit straight out of prison.

it was a build up of events that led to him being DD. not just angela getting kidnapped by muse. That scene with the guy that stole the candy or whatever the fuck was also to tell matt the system is fucked because it would cost more money and legal power to put him in jail than it would be to just feed him. Not to mention Hector was the one who found muse first because how else would angela have known? She even tells matt that hector was the first one to investigate him, so he checks out muse layer in his honor.

The Punisher has never been that emotional. Jon is essentially playing Shane again, not Frank. Plus the way he's generally written in the Netflix shows comes across as just angry hobo man. Frank is really tactical about his operations and he comes across as sloppy in these shows.

How did she even manage to put together that he had a way bigger hand in things then anyone would've known about, least of all her? Please rewatch the conversation, matt literally asks her this and she basically said she is venting because nobody else will do anything and she is just hoping matt could help her as matt. Not as DD.

This is the second time Matt has spoken to someone who has no idea what the fuck they’re talking about (the first being Leroy) and he just takes it without applying any counter arguments.

So in reply to Matt saying what does she want him to do about Hector’s death she condescendingly says, “How about literally anything, Mr Murdock. Attorney at law. Big fancy office, here to help the little guy. Only on your terms. Cause when the little guy puts something for real in your hands. You’re all “nah”. That’s fine. That’s cool. My bad for thinking you cared.”

Besides the absolutely horrendous and unnatural sounding dialogue, excuse me, you little moron, but what are you even on about? Matt literally saved your uncle from imprisonment. He helped the “little guy” and more. Sure, it’s technically his fault that he got capped because he revealed his secret identity (another horrible consequence and character assassinating moment from this show’s abysmal writing), but he stood up for somebody who had the entire police force against him. He even put a target on his own back and risked his position as a lawyer to get him acquitted of murder. He actually did something, and now you want to come in and scold him for trying to protect him? Go fuck yourself.

What is Matt to do now? He has no leads about who killed Hector. He’s not a detective, so it’s not like he can do his own investigation. He has no evidence, and YOU don’t either. Do you want to go track down a serial killer murdering people in an abandoned subway line? Be my fucking guest. Give this girl the magic amulet already so somebody has an excuse to beat the pomposity out of her.

And what does Matt have to say to this baseless condescension? Nothing. No plea for her to not investigate a killer on her own. No attempt to reason with her that there literally is nothing he can do at that moment. No genuine reply back to her remarks. Just a vacuous appeal of “it’s not that simple” and that’s it. What a wordsmith. This guy doesn’t sound like he argues claims for a living at all. Where’d your balls go, Matt? Did they chop them off when you made the switch from Netflix to Disney+?

This show is a disaster. I can’t see it being saved by the next 3 episodes even if it’s just Daredevil running around New York taking down baddies for the entire runtime. This has been catastrophic for every character involved in the original series.

I want my rough and violent completely naked Matt and Karen sex scene to finally happen and for her to canonically get knocked up by him before the 2nd season even ends.
