>You can’t watch legally watch the sequel to Willow

What a vile creature. Where's a hero in steel capped boots when you need him?

it's a travesty that DisneyPlus value shareholders over subscribers in their creative decision-making

Welcome to capitalism. Enjoy your stay.

I hate to sound like a zoomer here but I have literally never heard of "Willow" until this very moment.

Suicide is illegal as well

Did anyone bother to pirate it, or was it so bad they didn't even bother?

Okay, but why are you telling us?

ywnbaw

I like it. This thing in the OP though looks shit, all the young cast look like people from 2025 in shit costumes. Too many swarths make it again look less believable, combined with digital shooting it all looks like ass.
The original movie was kino.

How embarrassing. It was a great arcade game too.

You can surely pirate it. It probably sucks.

*punt*

In conveying my personal experience (or lack thereof) I tried to make the point that making a sequel of a film which has seemingly no cultural impact.
Alternatively I hoped it would prompt others to share their own personal experience with the property in order to better understand this thing which I had no knowledge of until this very moment.

it's actually pretty good

The movie is worth a watch. It was made by George Lucas after he finished the original SW trilogy, and he wanted to make a fantasy movie for kids. Sort of LOTR lite, with an Ewok playing a hobbit and an all star cast of little people playing little people. So he did. And it's charming.

He's still alive? I distinctly remember this midget dying. Was it some other midget?

Must have been.

But you had heard of Willow before, so why the larp? What do you get out of that?

I really like her and I watched the original a lot as a kid, but I just couldn’t get through the show. The entire tone felt off to me. That being said, it’s insane that these things can just disappear even when they’re still basically brand new.

It's a plant.

I actually liked the show. I hated half the cast but the music and effects were great, especially in that last episode. Blows disney+ star wars shows out of the water.

My ISP gets pissy when I download Netflix stuff. Do Disney shows that aren't still available have that protection? Lawyers only care about things that can make them money. I only got any piracy action threats after getting relatively new things that attract streamers. Usually I only care about old unpopular things. Willow probably qualifies but I'm not sure.

You cruel man! I would treat Warwick instead to a delicious char siu meal of... well, that would ruin the surprise.

Do Disney shows that aren't still available have that protection?

my guess would be yes but i'm not 100% sure
if you're really worried, protonvpn is free and would be fine for a one off like this

It was Lucasfilm's attempt at fantasy Star Wars. It obviously didn't take off like sci-fi Star Wars did.

combined with digital shooting it all looks like ass

Everything else aside, the visuals Disney+ has got for their shows are great though (especially compared to what they've been giving us with their theatrical releases lately).

I'll pay for a VPN if it means worry-free piracy. Does it? How am I getting past my own ISP?

No it wasn't, it was just straight fantasy. George Lucas was Lucasfilm. He didn't need to rip off his own brand. It had nothing at all to do with Star Wars, nor was intended to be some franchise.

Arcade game? I only ever played the NES game.
It was okay for a Zelda clone.

The show was alright, carried by actors, most characters were really likable. Warwick is a horrible actor though, h immursion ruining performance

I torrented it without issue. Just remember to turn off automatic seeding if your ISP has bothered you before because seeding is what they really care about.

Warwick is a horrible actor though, h immursion ruining performance

Agreed. His scenes were unwatchable in the first two thirds of the season. I see people complain that the Willow show didn't have enough Willow in it but that piece of shit couldn't be bothered to put in the work and take an acting class before filming started. I'll always be mad at him for ruining the show.

Bump for the different ending song each episode

The video game was based

That's my pyjama wife! From Mare of Easttown!

That's my socially inept wife from Bottoms

Dwarf 2: Dwarf on a beach

how boring

Oh look its... [DIVERSE CAST]
[DIVERSE CAST] strikes again.
everyone see [DIVERSE CAST]
how can u miss [DIVERSE CAST]
[DIVERSE CAST] is recognizable in every movie made today

It was shit and no one wanted to watch it, you little dipshit. Make more leprechaun films instead.

The internet has been scrubbed of old BTS photos of Val Kilmer playing hackey sack in-costume with young Warrick as a makeshift beanbag.

Disney could have retconned it to take place in the distanter past of the Star Wars galaxy with their D+ show. Why didn't they do that?

It was his wife who died.

you can’t watch legally watch

do not redeem

Does anyone have the 4k steelbook of the original movie? How is the transfer?

You sound like a woman aswell, faggot.

I didn't have a problem with the ginger negro hybrid girl in Solo, but she was fucking awful in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. How was she in this? Other than dykey.

She was good in this. Not great, but not as jarringly bad as the giant poo and tony ravioli

To be fair her whole story in Falcon and Winter Soldier was very quickly and badly rewritten. She didn't have a lot to work with.

With all the shit on D+, being the show that is so bad that it gets pulled off the platform is an achievement in itself

If Disney was operating based upon capitalism, this show would never have been made with the people involved who turned it into a woke lesbian travesty with DEI casting

Hire (((Jonathan Kasdan))) because of nepotism, a woke jew who has done nothing of note

Give him $160 million with which to make a tv show based upon Willow

He makes it a super diverse show about lesbians emasculating the titular character and any other male in the show, and nowhere is the $160 million spent on display

Nobody watches it outside of youtubers making fun of it, Disney pulls it off the streaming service to have it be a tax writeoff as a loss

This is not capitalism, this is (((Bob Iger))) doing (((BlackRock))) cocksucking

He looks like a tiny Dave Mustaine with long hair.

Hello mini-me, its mini-me again

Coincidentally, it was a movie with Val Kilmer. I rented it as a YOUNGSTER but barely remember the plot. I did start watching the series, about a year and a half ago or more, but my attention span-lacking gigalith of a gf insisted we move to something else. It was not half bad. But the important thing is we are getting closer to war and after the covid dictstorship people worry about what power is capable of without being really able to express it publicly, and that eats them up and doesn't let them enjoy anything.

Neither shareholders nor subscribers watched the midge show

If Disney was operating based upon capitalism, this show would never have been made with the people involved who turned it into a woke lesbian travesty with DEI casting

You begin by assuming only an idealised form/era of capitalism is the true definition of capitalism a.k.a. true scotsman fallacy

LOL

The goblin twat is absolutely correct

Because Lucasfilm did that as an April Fools joke years ago.

They expected the show to have the same viewership as a star wars or marvel show with a fraction of the marketing and without the built in audience of those two massive franchises. It was set up to fail and removed so quickly that I can only imagine that it existed so some exec could launder a massive amount of money.
