Depends on the storyline. Lanfear/Forsaken is almost always good. Nynaeve, Elayne, Moiraine, Aes Sedai in general is mostly good. Rand, Egwene, Perrin are such charisma vacuums they actively make the show worse. Half the time I forget Mat is even in the show which I'm not sure is a good or a bad thing.

We're 3 seasons in and have yet to mention the catechism, the creator, the dark one, anything. As far as we can tell the war of power was because lews therin was an arrogant dick. Anybody can reincarnate to anyone else, mat is a hero of the horn. Men channel the power by "surrendering to it". The series opens with 3 reds gentling a man without a trial, saying men make the power dirty by channeling it.
I've not read any of the books, but the costume design on these shows is incredible. I like how they didn't just do cliche euro medieval fantasy but really expanded what would be believable. I also liked how all the old warriors that came out the horn were recognizably ancient but also unique and nothing like our world's history.
Lanfear should have been redeemed.
I don't think she even does anything evil, just wanted the new power source and got caught. She actively works against the forsaken repeatedly. Moiraine sacrificing herself to take her out was dumb.
Why is there an ocean between Tar Valon and Tanchico? Did the writers forget Nynaeve and Elayne are not travelling there from Tear like in the books ?
There is no knowing how good the show is objectively doing since its only streaming. But it's not in Nielsen top 10 so it's probably not doing good. For all we know, the show is a loss leader for Amazon.
