All of these people automated a ton of stuff in photoshop, traced the hell out of every drawing, just like people like me spun wikipedia entries into 500-5000 word articles for shitty blogs. I can't get freelance writing work anymore due to AI, and it's obvious that this window has closed forever - you can't legislate against AI, and even if you could detect it and prevent access to it online, it's already offline so it's game over.
bad thing is that hacks like me or this whore will join millions of unemployed people in further digging the hole into the flimsy fabric of economy that is in freefall. incentive to learn something new is frail when AI can just copy it in seconds. it's impossible to diversify in such a field.

Art isn't even the real problem with AI. I'm doing a course at university and I've completed all my assignments with the help of AI. It literally understands everything in a second and not only completes the assignment, but breaks it down into small segments and explains everything I need to in a moment. OpenAI is 10x better then any teacher I've had.
And that's not even the worse part. All the top universities know that their students use AI to do assignments. Because foreign students make up a huge part of our economy, the universities aren't speaking out or doing anything about it. There are Chinese students who do not speak any english at all but are just copy pasting whole essays written from ChatGPT and passing. The teachers are powerless to stop it.

This won't be too different than it is already. Some retard graduates and is handed a piece of paper, but that paper doesn't mean they can make a company money, or put your arm back together. They'll get a shot, maybe a few, before they get ousted as a hack and is replaced with someone competent
I'm an artist and I use AI to help my work. That said it's pretty shitty because it's really bad at doing anything specific. It is however, decent at generating textures and background filler.
