Titan documentary

It's happening

Quick reminder that this whole thing was staged to demoralize the american population. They would rather you worship literal niggers than look to the stars and desire to explore the unknown

blm.webm - 480x600, 2.88M

It certainly was used to push as a pro regulation propaganda message

There aren't any stars in the ocean, nigger.

What the fuck do the stars have to do with a bunch of rich people going down into the ocean to look at a shipwreck?

What?

absolute schizo-babble

d8a.jpg - 680x513, 43.48K

ok but what does that have to do with the sub

Are you shitskins sincerely this retarded? Do you lack a 4th grade reading comprehension?

Except James Cameron, you fool.

do amerilards really go out in public in a housecoat?

trvke 4cuckolds aren't able to handle

There's plenty of starfish in the ocean though

Dude let's ignore safety rules when building manned vehicles which will be surrounded by thousands of tons of water

I know there is a constant fight between regulation and innovation but damn. Sometimes you should really, REALLY know what the fuck you are doing when ignoring certain precautions

The innovation was trying to see how cheap you can make an abyssal sub for running cheap tours manned by underpaid teenagers (hence the Logitech controller).

It's like the Flat Earther who killed himself in a homemade rocket.

Big Picture Thoughts

redditors seething at this one

Natalie Wood would like a word with you in hell.

Deep sea sub designs have already been perfected, they just can't fit a tour group in them.

Demoralize

I feel bad about the kid dying but everyone else on that ship was a literal retard

No, man. You need think outside the box. Move fast and break things, gnomesayin'?

nigga wanted to solve a rubik cube 4km underwater. autistic fella like us

I genuinely don't understand how water pressure works.

cfml.gif - 220x141, 297.32K

If someone put a gallon of water on your head, you'd say "this is light, no problem". But then if someone put a hundred gallons on your head, you'd say ok this is pretty damn heavy! And if someone put a couple thousand gallons on you, you'd be smushed. Just because they're in water, the weight doesn't go away. The deeper you go in water, the heavier what's on top of you gets. And it all wants to crush in on the low pressure air you need to breath to survive.

But why does the pressure push down? Why doesn't it spread out...like water?

They're late. I just watched the Galafilm/ZDF documentary "Implosion". Almost everything had been in other documentaries except for the fact that at the end of dive 80, the Titan hull cracked so loudly that it was off the charts of the monitoring equipment and it could be heard above water. (The Titan was 20m or so under at the time.) The specialist for the remotely operated robot reported that to the head of engineering at Oceangate, and their response was "you don't have what it takes to work for us", and she was fired. Stockton Rush just said "it'll be fine". They didn't inspect the hull, they just went on diving, and 8 dives later the hull had had enough and just imploded.

It does spread out. At that depth, that spreading creates quite a high pressure on all the water nearby. And it all wants to spread out into your low pressure space. If it was a drone with no low pressure air, it would be fine down there. Submarines are cylinders since they withstand that pressure from all sides the best. Still needs to be a material that can take compression repeatedly without cracking like carbon fiber

So is water pressure greater at the center of the ocean than it is at the sides? Like if I'm 2000ft down in the middle of the ocean is the pressure greater than if I'm 2000ft down beside the coast?

it's the weight of the water above you, except it's applied uniformly from all directions, pushing inward.
the body of a sub needs to be strong enough to maintain a liveable atmosphere inside without buckling under the immense pressure.
the massive difference in pressure between the outside and the inside of the sub means all that force is acting on the barrier between the two pressures, trying to crack the sub open like a coconut.

The pressure at a depth is the same everywhere regardless. Both would have the same pressure, all that matters is how deep you are. Gravity matters too. The pressure would be different if it were on a small moon like Europa, or a giant planet like Jupiter. Descending into Jupiter the gases compress so much they become liquid and have crazy pressure

This is easily the most retarded fucking thing ive read on this website…that isnt what happens at all

They got turned into meat paste and ejaculated through the window port. Imagine that being your death. There's some symbolism in there somewhere.

Nah nigga I need my shit to be dirt cheap, fuck safety and shit, a bunch of water isn't gonna hurt me

Somebody once told me, the world is gonna roll me...

SUBDOG KILLIONAIRE

This honestly

what is the point of a coat if you only wear it in a climate controlled area

there is absolutely no way that bullshit would work irl. Even as a kid I knew it was pure kikery

Its easy. Water doesn't like to compress.
If you take a balloon under water the air inside that balloon is much easier to compress than the water, so the water compresses the air until the point where the air pressure is equalized to the water pressure.
Now imagine that balloon is your body, or a metal shell.
All the weight of the water wants to push in from every direction.

there is absolutely no way that bullshit would work irl.

I mean not like that, you couldn't hold the weight of the boat down. But if you put enough weight on the boat and kept it balanced, its just a small bathyscaphe. And assuming you wouldn't lose the air through the wood. of the boat.

If you piss off the aliens at the bottom of the ocean (like by bringing two Pakis into their home) they squeeze you with the water until you explode.

But I’ve been led to believe in this thread that water is heavy. Who should I trust? Hollywood or some anonymous guys with inconsistent stories?

Water has mass even if it's liquid. How is it that hard to grasp?

Why didn't they just swim to the top?

I’ve consistently had very good luck with Logitech accessories. The mouse and keyboard I’m using right now are both Logitech and have been incredibly robust and reliable. I’ll not have you people besmirch them.

I noticed HBO Max just put up a documentary about it too. It's funny when big events like this show how long that production time is through concurrent documentaries.

I bet you think the atom bomb is real and that weve been to space too. Idiotic goyim

that has nothing to do with water weight. life can survive under thousands of kg of pressure

you can sail the high tides in a housecoat?

no because you would be displacing the same volume regardless if you are in the center or at the coast. so same pressure would apply

Yes, it is, retard. And it was being dumbed down for someone who can't understand fucking basic water pressure.

saves your wrist

nothing personell, kiddo

IT'S JUST WATER WEIGHT!

Water is very heavy. That's why it wants to go downwards then spread into the boat's inner cavity, which compresses and drives the lighter air upwards making the boat go towards the surface. What would keep it down? Certainly not two human bodies walking

but that is not what happens
best example is that it's a tug of war. the air inside the sub wants to push the hull outwards, the thousands of feet of water want to push the hull inwards. all to maintain the same pressure.

Isn’t it crazy that the world expert on deep sea engineering is a former truck driver and the guy who made terminator.

They died; there I saved you a watch

Why? Scientists aren't some mystical Unreachable dharmic dao!

in 100 years, this accident will be regarded in the same way as the september 11th terror attacks, and the titanic

Yes, nothing ever actually happens, everything in the world is perfectly ordered

I mostly just feel bad for that 15 year old kid.

The boat was filled with Indians, chuddie.

terminally online incel moment. horrifying.

Dude, it was just one utterly deluded guy taking 4 other guys with himself to a watery death. In a 100 years, this will be a small anecdote, and it will only be remembered because the submersible was called "Titan", and same as the Titanic it dove to, it was said to be indestructable, and same as with the Titanic, this was sheer fucking hubris.

it should only be 10 seconds long. And the first 9.9 seconds are right before the implosion.

can confirm this is true as an angel working in heaven because none of the alleged victims have ever shown up here

It will be on the level of that French guy who tried to invent parachute and jumped from Eiffel tower to test it, just dropping down like a sack of potatoes.

Everyone saying they feel bad about the paki kid, but honestly 15 year old is not young enough to be a "kid" kid, and he was probably just going to become another soulless nepo baby billionaire. I think the french guy was the actually sad one. Not some mega rich guy like the others, just a really decorated underwater explorer that died because of his passion.

Ritsuko.jpg - 1491x913, 112.91K

The Paki was 18, and he didn't want to go. His father who paid for the trip convinced him.

retards
kek

Well, they did have 87 successful dives with one complete hull replacement in that time. Because the hull had cracked. Funny how they didn't think of that or thought it necessary to inspect the hull when they all heard a cracking sound on dive 80 that was so loud it could be heard above water by the crew on the support ship.

Amerigolems are subhuman

5565161.gif - 213x255, 2.32M

shows up on CNN right after it’s proven you’ve been made into refried beans

basically calls you a dipshit and that he knew it would happen

Based or is he an asshole?

IMG_0591.jpg - 1600x900, 113.1K

Well, they did have 87 successful dives

It's funny right? People are pretending this is the first time they went down to Titanic too.
With passage of time this probably become and accepted truth.

An asshole. There's tons of people who have worked on one of his films and subsequently refused to ever work with him again who can attest to that.

I guess this sub had a little trap door behind an optional curtain where you could poop. What happened to the poop they all had in the secret compartment?

why would anyone design a pointy pressure vessel?

for me it's this nigga
youtube.com/watch?v=1aRVGRF2U-0
I watched this entire deposition, it was entertaining and enlightening
the pointy bit was flooded and housed the electronics, iirc.

True

we have no right to explore the ocean or the stars while Black folx continue to be oppressed

Americants are just too retarded to do what people did 50 years ago, and your post proves it

85 years ago. The Trieste that dived to the Mariana Trench 10,910 meters deep in 1960. The Trieste was made in 1953. For comparison: The Titanic which the Titan failed to reach is at a mere 3,800 meters depth.

*65 years I meant.

meters

Idk how far that is you fucking retard

Thank you based Poseidon

Holy shit James.

retard

Then you're of one of the only two backward countries on this planet that still doesn't measure in meters. And you're also too retarded to ask Google.

Why do americans seek to be unique to the point of suicide? You can even see it with their psychopathic president eviscerating his own nation while being cheered on.

I think he’s kind of based in that way though. In his GQ video breaking down his movies he said he basically told Leonardo DiCaprio to fuck off when auditioning for Titanic because he was refusing to read the script with Winslet. Then he said that he disliked filming with a British film crew because they were all slow as shit

everybody running around with their hair on fire

everything is a conspiracy

Nah, sometimes it's just stupid people doing stupid things

Pressure comes from all sides, hence why sub cockpits are spherical. The deeper you go, the more the pressure intensifies.

Literally this. Rush's ego was so huge he thought he could tame the harshest environment on earth by ignoring nature, physics and engineering.

21.jpg - 600x795, 111.74K

Cameron himself has said that he's not a nice guy when making movies. He's professional and safe but he has a very low tolerance for people who create friction, no matter how trivial.

Yeah his movies are damn good so maybe there's something to be said for the way he works

Black people are our friends and allies. Kneel down and kiss their feet and tell all your white female relatives to go on a few dates with them.

paki navy retrieved it

Also this guy drew total mockery from everyone across the political spectrum over here.

I’m guessing that’s why someone on the titanic crew laced the food for everyone with PCP near the end of shooting. They said like 80 people were affected including Cameron and Bill Paxton

"The ocean has claimed them, let them fight for their own life"

So how do you feel about this tragedy?

I don't really think about it a lot

HOLY BASED

Why is he giving an interview on it? "you made movies about boats so you're the perfect expert to ask"

feeling bad about paki subhuman

could you be any more reddit

See

It's not a tragedy. People choosing to outright ignore solved science do so at their peril.

He's got autistic knowledge about the Titanic

James has done multiple submarine expeditions including the challenger deep he literally is an expert.

In the making of submarines? Because that's all that's important here is the engineering aspect. I drive a car daily but don't ask me what the fuck happened if it suddenly stops running.

He was 18 and didn't want to go
He knew how stupid it was but his father said "nah you going!"

I'm not going to argue with a retard go look up the information yourself.

Hubris is a hell of a drug!

They couldn't tell which way was up or down cause it was so dark

he used carbon fiber and didn't understand the material lol

you underestimate james cameron

It's depressing that ignorant retards have become so emboldened on the net they just spout their nonsensical uninformed opinions so confidently and demand others educate them, which they will then never be thankful for of course

The BBC also put one out last week. Although Netlix still haven't released the Chess Anal Beads documentary and that happened in 2022

Jews did the titan sub implosion?
For what purpose? Was the sub too white for their tastes?

The vast majority of those dives were not at depth. The first hull cracked within the first couple of doves at depth.
They then changed the hull and didn't test it at depth until they went down to the Titanic for the first "real" dives at around dive 80.
Dive 80 is when the second hull broke and they chose to just ignore it.

Yeah it was merely 60% white. Needed a few more jeets crammed in there.

In the making of submarines?

He's not an expert, but he's smart enough to know that it's important to consult the experts when you're trying to build a submarine.

Do you guys think they sucked each other's dicks before they died? Not like they'd regret it.

unactivated Windows

Absolute kino

There's another with a smug kraken wrapped around the sub while they pound at the windows I remember seeing.

you're not wrong but nature is healing

itsgwenbtw gwen this huge fake titty body builder chick had the feminism black power fist tattoo on her shoulder, she's getting it lazed off

nature is healing

OIP.jpg - 474x474, 27.6K

Y-you too...

Stockton should've learned something from the Chesterton's Fence story.

akshually the energy of compression was so high that a fuckton of heat was generated and they were incinerated, THEN ejected out of the crushed sub. it happened so fast the neural impulses didn't even have time to travel to the brain to be processed into sensation.
that's what The Experts said at least

hear a few splinters and cracks

probably loud as fuck given how small the sub was

driver freaks and drops all the ballast to make an emergency ascent

start shitting bricks as the splinters get more frequent

suddenly you're hearing crackling all around as the hull starts failing

shitting massive bricks, probably in a cold sweat

OH N-

instant darkness and oblivion

a-at least it was fast

379.jpg - 900x1200, 85.46K

that face is a boner killer but i still would with a paper bag

You're kidding right? James Cameron has done a solo dive to the deepest part of the ocean (Challenger Deep) in a submersible he helped design. He's pretty qualified to talk about the Titan.

kek

anyone have the picture like this but it has a guy on the toilet with everyone looking over his shoulder

everything in the world is returning to prime evropa because some random e-thot I'm obsessed with is getting her blm tattoo removed

father wanted him dead lol.

reddit told me they wouldnt feel a thing!

She's based and trad now
You can even marry her and it doesnt matter how many niggers she fucked in her prime, chuddie

Fucking kek

But Anon Babble told me he's a know-nothing hack that just makes blue injun movies!

Here's James Cameron talking about it right after they found out they all died. Pretty kino, and he seems very pissed off

youtube.com/watch?v=5XIyin68vEE&t=6s

Ngl the implosion ruined it for me. I was hoping for engine failure + lost in the bottom of the ocean and then a battle royale where they killed each other off to make the oxygen as long as possible.
Man that would have been so sick. Maybe they pulled the tube out and the inside is just pure carnage, or maybe there would be one survivor that just DRINKS all that sweet air.
Unfortunately, we just cant have nice things.

Anon Babble consist of 3 users

funny that the military knew minute one that it imploded and decided to keep quiet on confirming it until after the timer on their oxygen would've ran out and a private civilian confirmed they'd heard it implode too, literally just let suspense build for the sake of storytelling

What else is there to discover? It was a guy with too bug an ego saying screw regulations and finding out those existed for a reason. Its not like they are gonna find new footage of the event ir even a wreckage left.

I think myth busters tested it and it works, but you just need to be not too deep

Controllers are fine, the problem is using an Xbox controller for something very complex like a deep sea sub. You need many controls for ballast and thrust and stuff, but even then the sub was very makeshift / homemade. The frame was second hand airplane carbon fiber, the thrust fans were bought from home depot etc etc

Don't forget titanic

Lolbertarians are a pathetic joke

He did multiple dives towards titanic retard. He is very autistic about deep sea

fucking kek, masterful post

Why didn't they input the Konami code on the controller at the first sign of trouble?

While he comes off as sniffing his own farts with the “I knew for a long time they were dead” he was still very based here

They had audio sensors to detect hull cracking so they knew the hull wasn't up to it.

This guy gets it lmao thanks for the reply anon-san

uh oh thats not good..

what are you meaning saar?

well it seems l-

then ignored it when it told them the second hull was finished

No it was more of a nigger chimp out and a misplaced empathy and guiit on part of white people (humans)

based

The guy in charge of the voyage was a liberal that hated White people and bragged about not hiring them.

Dumbass

It was just a funny thing that happened though. Not everything is a conspiracy, Connor.

Thanks for your insight new guy

was it suicide?

yeah

yes...but it's also carbon fiber. I don't think there's any margin of safety with hull sensors. It cracks once -> it's probably over immediately. such a meme material.

good lord, it's fucked up that i feel that it's a shame the damn thing imploded, because it sitting on the ocean floor as depicted in this image would have been maximum overkino

Quicker death than I'll get.

Rey could have fixed the compressor and saved them.
