Do zoomers know that getting older is inevitable or do they think it's one of those things you're born with like great hair, eye color and jaw?Very bizarre shit especially since all the idols and icons they worship are born around that time

Yeah, see, this shit is exactly why it’s asinine to insinuate that someone born in 1997 is in the same generation as someone born in 2008. Even they consider us dinosaurs not remotely on the same page as them.
The hunger games
tfw 21 but already look 28
Worships everything older than them because they have zero cultural icons within their own age group

96
Yeah, that's me. What's up with all the kids these days being unable to handle silence for more than 10 seconds? All my nieces and nephews rush for any kind of auditory stimulation like headphones or the TV. They think I'm mentally ill or something because I can sit in silence without fidgeting like they do.
Raised on iPads.
Batman
Born on the 4th of July
Major League
The Dark Crystal, The Beastmaster, E.T., Creepshow, The Last Unicorn, Conan the Barbarian, Tron, First Blood, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Gandhi, Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid, The Thing, Swamp Thing, Poltergeist, Wrath of Khan, The Scarlet Pimpernel, 48 Hours, The Sword and the Sorcerer...
It's a goddamn shame, the state of Hollywood these days.
Also born in 96
I honestly have no clue what the current fads are anymore. Like do teens still post memes or are they just on TikTok 24/7?
The best films from the year I was born and my favourite films from the year I was born are Who Framed Roger Rabbit, My Neighbor Totoro and They Live.
Why bother with fads? They're designed to take mommy and daddy's money out of retarded teens. You should be well into your hobbies by now. I'm usually down at the track racing or building projects with stuff I buy from Home Depot.
damn, you oldfags had it pretty good
How? Those are films by birth year. Then again, the year I turned 18 and could go to any movie is pretty much regarded as the highest level of kino in history. I saw like Fight Club, American Beauty, Princess Mononoke, Three Kings, Being John Malkovich, Sleepy Hollow, The Green Mile, American Pie, Blair Witch, Magnolia all a few weeks apart on the big screen. Had already had The Matrix, The Mummy, Phantom Menace and Office Space in the months before that.
I assumed every year going forward was going to be like that.
Matrix and Tarzan
Son?
What's bottom right
King Kong (I won't specify which one)
Event Horizon

A tier
A Chinese Ghost Story, Full Metal Jacket, Broadcast News, Fatal Attraction, Near Dark, Aquarius, NOES3
B tier
Hellraiser, The Hidden, The Running Man
For me its typically reading. Although now and again there's a house project.
Honestly don't have that much time for hobbies (work and marriage). I feel old and I'm not even 30 yet so not sure how that's gonna go.
Movie wise, probably either independence day or eraser for me. Alot of options though.
Thanks
Ghostbusters
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
Gremlins
1989 here. 1990 and beyond are zoomers.
1988
had a few good ones, but kind of a weak year in hindsight.
Aliens and The Fly.
Singin' in the Rain
High Noon
Ikiru
The Snows of Kilimanjaro
On first glance '89 year looks fucking grim.
Maybe Dead Poet's Society? Any other boomers who can name a better movie?

haven't watched it but friends say it's kino
Its a tie between pic related and Flash Gordon.
Jurassic Park
Falling Down
Nightmare Before Christmas

Kino year
80s was literally the best decade for movies. All the best movies of all time were made in the 80s.
the others in my pic are: Lost Highway, Nowhere, Gummo, The Mirror, Henry Fool, The Ice Storm

Spaghetti westerns are dogshit.

My favorite would be Logan's Run from that year.
Strike that, looking at the list of movies made in '76, my favorite is easily Murder by Death.
Year my late brother was born:
The Wild Bunch
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
True Grit
The Italian Job
Easy Rider
Rain Man
Die Hard
Return of the Living Dead, Re-Animator, Brazil, the list goes on.
My favorite is Day of the Dead.

1978 was mostly ass but its my bday tommorow and googling just showed me this gem which ill watch tommorow drunk by myself. deer hunter and superman are in there but I hate Christopher reeves. I love horses.
It's 1996 and beyond. People who were kids in the 90s are not zoomers.
The Wizard of Oz
An all-timer, too.
As a kid I didn't like Peter Falk as much as I liked Peter Sellers in that movie.
I guess I find old racist chinese jokes funny.
i want to disagree but this is logically correct
88'
Kys. You were a baby in the '90s. By the time you were 4 it was already the year 2000. Your childhood is not mine. Fuck off.
Aladdin, 92 babby here. Way too many zoomers ITT
The brown bunny
Lost in Translation
