I work 4 on and 4 off. I also get 30 days paid leave which I'm free to use whenever I want. I don't earn a lot of money but I mostly get paid to sit around and watch films. Occasionally I'll deal with drunks or teenagers on the property. I can afford to do and buy most of the stuff I want, but right now I'm mostly saving for trips to other countries as I haven't traveled since before covid.

The problem with that is you have to take a week or less off and do that every few months. It is much nicer to wait till you have a week off already and then throw another week off on top of that (which usually only happens in November and December).
