The first seasons are very skipable

I like the shorts, my favorite is the Gumby short.
Here's my folder sure to piss off some autists, it's MST3k and Rifftrax shorts. Rifftrax wrote new commentary and re-did some of their MST3k material, so some shorts like Mr B Natural now have two different tracks. If I was motivated I'd organize this shit.

Rifftrax is alright but it really does need the dumb puppets and skits

MAGNETO

VARMINT!

Mitchell. The Godzilla one where it slides on its tale (it’s in the intro). Those two made me laugh. I don’t know about the rest. They’re not that funny to me. Even the Manos episode wasn’t that good. I try watching them and they’re just as boring as the movie they make fun of.

for me, excluding the usuals:
Gorgo
Horror at Party Beach
Track of the Moon Beast
Laserblast
Space Mutiny
Melting Man
The Day the Earth Froze
Mitchell
Teenage Strangler
Samson vs The Vampire Women

I like Jack Frost and This Island Earth a lot.

And the KTMA season 0 is unwatchable.

I love Gorgo. I know people that are loyal to Joel or Mike exclusively and refuse to watch the other guy's episodes.
I can only understand this about the Netflix seasons. The original run was mostly the same team no matter who was hosting. Just having Kevin Murphy's voice is enough to feel like MST to me.

Joel and Mike bring two different but complimentary vibes and are both very funny. Joel is more laid back and his humor is a lot more passive aggressive, the bots have a more reverent dynamic with him where they treat him like an older brother. Mike's from Wisconsin and he's a great big stupid piece of shit, so everyone treats him like crap.

Space Mutiny is how I introduce people who have never watched MST3k. They did hit a nice stride there towards the end of Season 8.

The fact that I can go on Youtube and watch any episode I want at any time has almost ruined it for me. And I mean media in general is kind of ruined because there's no limit to what I can have and how immediately. I'm currently a little bummed that I need to wait 7 minutes to pirate Black Mass as it's somehow not on any of the streaming services or on demand cable channels I pay so much for. And I'll have a hard time just watching the movie because I'm tempted to also do shit like post here. I hate it all now. And I'm only getting Black Mass because I was watching an interview with Kevin Pollack and John C. McGinley where they were complimenting it while I was watching on a tablet on the toilet. I'm never very far from just watching almost anything in the world. It makes everything seem less great. I need to move to a cabin in the mountains with a fuckload of books for a few years and completely reset. If I weren't in my forties I wouldn't even have a problem with what I've become because I wouldn't know any other way.

CEREBRO

Everyone knows the best episodes so here are some of my favourites which I feel don't get mentioned enough:

The Deadly Bees

The Projected Man

Escape 2000

Agent for H.A.R.M.

Soultaker

Werewolf and Prince Of Space

Pretty you may bee!

I always liked killer shrews

Just don't put your dick in 'em, boy.

but can they play dixie land jazz?

Space Mutiny, Laser last, and the Russian Jack Frost movie are probably my favorites but there were so many great episodes

Laser last

*Laserblast

Only after playing some FOOTBAAAALL.

Devil Doll is actually somewhat kino movie despite the top tier riffing. The main actor was a co founder of Janus Films

no mention of pod people

pod people.jpg - 723x452, 47.73K

wirwulf

pyewma man

Turtle slut.

cool it with antisemitism

The episode I watched the most was Alien from L.A.

Siiiiimp!

this is my favorite

I always forget how great it is, the movie is so over the place I forget half the retarded scenes they crammed into it

She didn’t have a big enough butt for those turtle bros

It’s funny but Kathy is too annoying even with the good riffs
Same thing with “roller gator” or Gor film with CABOT
The movie itself is hard to watch

I just thought she was a slut desu

The movie itself is hard to watch

And this is the key. The movie needs to be actually watchable or it is too hard to follow along no matter how funny the riffs. Space Mutiny is a bad movie, but you can watch it. Some of the B&W shit dubbed in English and filmed in 144p is completely wasted.

Blood Waters of Dr. Z
Incredible Melting Man

areyoureadyforsomeFOOTBAAAAALL

mccloud!

t. Kathy Ireland voice enjoyer

got into finally watching that show because of all the riffs

it's actually great

I've probably watched Werewolf 100+ times and every time I completely zone out trying to figure out the plot until the pool hall scene when the waahrwulf girl busts out those incredible slavic knockers

Red Zone Cuba

Attack of the the Eye Creatures

The Final Sacrifice

Zombie Nightmare

Laserblast

The Incredible Melting Man

Bloodlust

Hobgoblins

Godzilla vs. Megalon

Riding with Death and/or PARTS: the Clonus Horror
Any Mike-era 70s movie episode outclasses everything else

Mitchell
Final Sacrifice
Time Chasers
agent for HARM
Space Mutiny
Cave Dwellers
Werewolf
Final Justice
The Deadly Mantis
Overdrawn at the Memory Bank
Future War
The Amazing Colossal Man
Invasion of the Neptune Men
The Thing That Wouldn't Die

When the fat cop gives Laserblaster a speeding ticket he mentions that his momma could easily afford to pay it. I took that to mean she was making a lot of money going on “vacation” with strange men.

Sherri Lewis is hot in other shows I’ve seen her in but they really made her look old in this film
Wahwilf lady has like a perfect nude body.
Would be funny if they released uncensored versions of the film on dvd and got a few extra jokes
Wish MST3K did an animated movie once too. Like that Korean tron knock off

The best episodes were when they went over educational films

He was in the Deadly Bees too.
He was a fairly good actor, could really capture a sinister vibe.

I thought he was autistic???

He was in the Deadly Bees too.

You're thinking of the other Brithorror they did, The Projected Man

Pretty you may be...

Yeah I just looked it up, sorry folks.

Final Sacrifice #1 spot, the timing on the jokes can never be topped.

*breathless whisper* Rowsdower..

Didn't the guy who played Rowsdower do on interview about the movie years after the fact where he said the director was an annoying weirdo?

All special agent ones are kino!

Speaking of which...

Reminder that Shout Factory have once again triumphed over The Great Anus, and Volume 17 is getting re-released on June 3rd, and the pre-orders are almost sold out.

101: The Crawling Eye

415: The Beatniks

910: The Final Sacrifice

1005: The Blood Waters of Dr. Z

The truck farmer short is an all-time classic

HAIL TRUCK FARMER!

Servo starts speaking in tongues

Has anybody seen a truck yet?

Where on youtube? Also. Whats really ruining them is that you're not young anymore and watching them for the first time through the lens of your youthful wonder and naivety. I'm 47 btw and remember watching mstk late night on the sci-fi channel in the late 90's.

where on youtube

Are you kidding?
most episodes are uploaded in full more than once

For me, it's the skit during Time Chasers where Mike floats over to Pearl's space trailer and they shoot the shit on the porch while the crow complains that he watching tv and then servo changed the channel

SARRRRGASSUM... THE WEED OF DECEIT

Doesn't bother me, at ALL. It's always my go-to peak comf. I give a break now and then so I don't wear every last episode out but it's decades later and every so often I STILL notice a joke that went over my head the last dozen times.

The key is to just never watch anything made past the year 2000. There's just nothing there for me.

Alright, now I am in many pieces but soon those pieces will grow and grow

night train to mundo fine
night train to the end
runnin hard and runnin fast
to meet my future and away from my past
taking that gamble that cannot last
night train
to the end

Literally the only good part of that whole movie, what a slog

Reminder:
Mike > Joel >>>>>>>>>>>> Jonah > Emily

Love the deadly bees. Very comfy despite all the mariticide. Escape 2000 is really great, Kevin's Leave Bronx/Journey medley at the end is sublime

I know right, two hours of the most miserable drudgery ever committed to film. A life sentence of watching Coleman Francis's meat sweats.

Godzilla vs Megalon

Gamera vs Barugon

Time of the Apes

Fugitive Alien

Ignore anything after season 10.

I'm cherokee jack

flag on the moon... what does it mean?

Oh, and Pod People between Cave Dwellers and Gamera vs Barugon. How the hell did I forget that one?

Is that the one with the Prince lookalike in it?

I'm asking for a channel link, not expressing disbelief or incredulity.

There's like 5 main channels that upload episodes, including the fucking branded official MST3K channel.
Just put a fucking episode into the search bar, retard. How are you a fan of this series and you don't know this already?

They have 3 or 4 different official 24/7 streams running at any given time. I guess they do ok enough numbers, because it’s one of those perfect background noise shows that people (like myself) just leave running.

They had a monster-themed one, a space-themed one, a general forever-athon, and they’ll have one that loops a particular season for a while. The most recent one I saw was Season 9.

That one is Agent for HARM

The Touch of Satan

I love this one because I have a special place for the fantasy of the traveler rolling through some isolated boondocks town and banging the naive frustrated country girl who longs for stories out of the outside world

also

this is where the fish live

A Witch Burning

In late 1800s Southern California

That's really the most ridiculous part.

Warrior of the Lost World

Their sheer joy when Megaweapon crushes the bike contrasted with their sullen disappointment when it gets destroyed two minutes later makes this one of my favorites.

There has never been a funny moment in the hundreds of hours this show went on for

What did he do wrong!?

Boggy Creek 2: And the Legend Continues
I even like the movie sans MST3K commentary. That movie is a hoot through n through. Anyway, I gotta go tend to mah fires.
