Yes. It's amazing.

Yes. Pretty much a pop culture miracle.

Yes but the chuds aren't ready to accept it yet.

It’ll be forgotten by next month

It's so good that it makes me hate the other Disney Star Wars projects even more kek

In what way?

no
its better

this kek

it retroactively raises a bar so high that you know nothing will clear it for another decade at least and makes you mad that disney fumbled everything else so poorly

mainly writing and world building, cast and acting are ok. It looks really nice too considering it's a tv show. Lots of real props and locations

How is the writing good?

that's fair.
but its also unfortunately not a high bar.

Yes. It is Kino.

Every character is important and no scene feels like a filler or waste of time. And both seasons have slow build-up and a nice culmination. Also no modern american politics hinted at. And no stupid shit like this youtube.com/watch?v=KK8gQZeGF9w

Characters actually have nuance and talk like real people.

Every character is important and no scene feels like a filler or waste of time.

ayy lmao

well if you felt that way it just means you got filtered

You like the characters and are invested in their plight, there's no dimestore psychology to any of them. There's a literal space incel chud and he is unabashedly the best character and has a good arc. Him dealing with his bullying mother is great. Every monologue is an absolute banger.

no modern politics

Really? I saw a scene from the show out of context where Mon Mothma was doing a speech and she mentioned a genocide. It felt like they were doing Palestine or something. I don't know what a Ghorman is so I don't know if I'm making an accurate comparison.

I watched some scenes out of context and their dialogue didn't feel natural at all.

Really has no analaouge to Palastine. They're more like space french getting operation Northwoods done to them

It was ok I guess. Overrated and underrated at the same time but still kinda bland. Tony Gilroy just doesn't seem interested in human beings.

The first 3 episodes of season 2 were just filler. Definitely won't say no wasted scenes.

I think I hated the monologues most I think. I saw a scene of the old dude in the black being asked why he does what he does and he just gave this really unnatural sounding speech at this dude and it felt really fake and forced.

s2 is a big nothing burger ngl. beginning is bad, middle has some good eps, ending is predictable since we know where it leads already. season 1 aldhani and prison arc are really all you need ot see.

God these bot threads really have nothing to offer huh

Do YOU have something to offer?

its so boring, I fall asleep each time I try to watch it

What makes you say that?

Why do you like it so much?

Why didn't you like it?

didn't I just write that. I keep falling asleep. it bores me to sleep

No.
Whatever they might say, it's still just more pointless Star Wars horse beating.

That is to say, it's a prequel to a prequel and you know every character's going to die or fuck off never to be seen again, so who gives a shit?

do you have to watch all the movies to understand the show? I saw most of them awhile back but don't remember shit

Put some effort in your bait my man. Trolling used to be an artform.

Is the Star Wars show allowed to be gritty, directed by the guy who did Michael Clayton and the original Bourne trilogy good

Yes.

I only saw the original trilogy and Rogue One, I guess it helps if you saw the prequel trilogy because of all the politics shit but I didnt hinder my enjoyment.

Alzheimer

It's 8/10

writing and story and acting and directing and cinematography and everything, anon! very human and not space jesus slop.

Very enjoyable overall, has a couple of S tier episodes.
