Well there is at least the possibility of someone covering the period between A New Hope and Return of the Jedi in some way that isn't Fagloni infested garbage, isn't there?
I remember trying to watch rogue one after s1 an being severely disappointed, I'm dl rogue one now so I'll give it another shot I guess.
Really seems like there should have been another 3 episodes after this. Just gets back to what anons have been saying that the first arc of S2 could have been written-out and the season having started with a slightly reworked second arc. Maybe 1-3 setting up Ghorman, 4-6 the massacre, 7-9 Luthen revealed, 10-12 something more about the formation of the rebel alliance and the Imperials panicking & infighting?
I appreciate that they didn't shy away from giving Dedra and Partagaz their just desserts
You could've easily had them die in some kind of explosion or gunfight, but their defeat was crushing and complete
no rhydo huffing
no fondor doing cool shit
ITS WACK
How did you know that?
Cassian only got off Kenari because those two scavs showed up for the crashed ship parts and they only took him. The planet was declared off-limits by the Republic. No one else would ever go there.
For the plot they wanted to do to happen aside, you would have thought Luthen would have had cyanide pill (or maybe have gone for his throat? Do we even know where exactly he stabbed himself?). Also, I know we have the meta-knowledge of them closing in on their location, but I feel like if I was in Andor’s situation without that knowledge I would work with being pressed for time - either knock Kleya out and take her with you or assassinate her.
yeah that's what this show needed lol more episodes
Do we even know where exactly he stabbed himself?
Gut area
isb fuckup
death star is operational so fuck the senate time to disolve it
blow up alderaan as an example and show of force
death star gets blown up with most of the senior imperial staff
Interesting few days for the Empire.
this show isn't a cartoon, you don't just "knock someone out" irl it doesn't work that way, hell it showed that in the fucking episode
Dedra survives the fall of the Empire and is probably freed in a mass pardon
Partagaz dies honourably
my view of the situation is a little different but the outcome was still satisfying
lol we can just ignore the senate and get rid of it now, they'll all be too afraid to act when we can blow up any planet that rebels
instantly lose the thing keeping them in line, leaving a galaxy of pissed of planets
The Empire went there later and Luthen was with the Empire. The mentioned disaster that made the planet inospitable after the Empire isn't show.
the New Republic brain scrambles Dedra and she becomes a rape slave
I am not saying more episodes, rather the 1-3 we got were a waste of time in themselves and for the wider season. Either completely rework them and keep the other arcs as they were, or start it that 4-6 become 1-3, 7-9 become 4-6, 10-12 become 7-9, and that means 10-12 would be free for something else.
its approx a week
I'd have been fine seeing Dedra get promoted. She'd make a very intredasting villain if she ended up in Partagaz's jodhpurs. Could even work for a sequel era production.
Judging by Luthen's character, I don't think don't go to planet X because it's off limit is going to work on him. He probably go there as soon as he hear it's off limit. You are just speculating out of your own ass.
The mentioned disaster that made the planet inospitable after the Empire isn't show.
What the fuck are you talking about yes it is
Dream by Andor of his sister included. That plot point was either always a non-start beyond setting up events or it got abandoned. Why remind us about it?
They could have tried to do something more with Saw's group.
Show where he started as it ends.
There's two disasters in Kenari: the mining one that made people abandoned it and left Cassian and the other kids living alone there, and a later one that the Empire came back for more and killed everyone, Maarva says it. And Pablo confirmed on Bluesky it's two separate things
You need to play Jedi fallen order to experience that.
Reposting cuz last thread hit bump limit
Just finished Andor. That was the shittiest "burn" I've ever seen. Luthen uses a jar of acid on his computer. Really? They couldn't have wrote something better? And Luthen couldn't even spend a few extra seconds to finish pouring the rest of the acid jar on his computer before answering the doorbell. Literally 2 extra seconds of pouring acid on the right side of the keyboard and the computer would be toast. The ISB tech even said Luthen didn't finish the job. Only damaged half the computer radio. Oh yeah They made stupid offscreen nonsense about some captured partisan remembering Luthen carried Antiques in his ship. How the hell would he know that? Luthen doesn't let people on his ship like that. He wouldn't let them see the cargo. Utter BS. That is some crap fest writing just to kill Luthen
galaxy of pissed off planets under the thumb of local governors/moffs with no sense of normalcy now
It's why I want something set between ANH and ESB. A lot of shit must have gone down.
Cassian and Bix have a child.
I remember reading a post writing that is what Filloni would pull if he wrote the show.
I mean defeat in the sense of the disintegration of what they stood for, their ideology. The system that they've worked so hard to maintain and protect has consumed them without a second thought. And it's perhaps in these final moments that they think to themselves for the first time: "what was the point to all of this?"
anyways RIP my nigga Lio Partagaz
Poor Dedra :(
Couples who have sex sometimes have kids.
Having an ending is what gives life meaning if you choose it
No. Fuck Dedra. Worst character in Star Wars honestly.
Rank the s2 arcs.
Are there condoms in star wars?
Don't forget his last moments were spent listening to the Rebel manifesto
Bix Dameron will raise Poe well
soundproof room for privacy of high ranking ISB agents
BE-CHOW
3 > 4 > 2 > 1. The only one that was truly bad was 1. I know some anons disliked 2, and I would say it felt rushed in parts, but it was necessary build-up for 3 to work.
Luthen has ship parked behind the counter.
Are the writers telling me Luthen couldn't just fire a proton torpedo from his ship to destroy evidence and escape?
I've never thought of it as a real plot point, it's all about how Cassian's been shaped and haunted by the Empire his whole life. S1 Arc1 he's just running around stealing shit, clinging to the vague hope he can find her until he gets real purpose and a course of action. He'll never get closure on her and how he lost her, just part of his baggage
F
He wasn't welcome anywhere, he didn't want to go anywhere
it's not even an interesting question because the answer is obvious
7-9 >> 4-6 >> 10-12 >>>>> [This space intentionally left blank] >>>>>>> 1-3
dude you expect him to just turn away paying customers?
I know you are probably being flippant, and I am indifferent to them having a kid either way, but you must see why people think that is eyerolling.
Burn the cabin order on comms
A lot of children screaming
Luthen in a uniform chugging booze in the middle of a battle ignoring order while screaming to make it stop
Saving and hiding a stowaway little girl
He was there. Kleya is his Andor sister.
good morning saar
Are there any fresh webms yet?
wasn't it a crashed seppie ship that had a chemical leak that kid cass & crew were looking at
nowhere near a firefight beyond the seps "defending" themselves
:(
Andor infiltrating a TIE fighter prototype base is legit interesting and it's a wasted opportunity.
Could even have had him setting up the imperial engineer lady, knowing that she'll probably be caught but being fine with letting that happen for the cause.
I don't care about Luthen dying but I'm gonna miss his Fondor Haulcraft ship. It was such an awesome "James Bond" style ship loaded with weapons and goodies. Seeing the Empire tear it apart to find evidence was painful to watch.
Lio Partagaz
This is the first time I've learned his name. I always just called him the Game of Thrones guy.
Do people just forgot the whole conversation Luthen had with Andor in Ep9? He never wanted to go to Yavin, he never wanted to escape. He was ready to die in Coruscant and hold out as long as he could to understand the Empire's end game. As to what others are saying, I fully expected the AI in the Fondor to instantly self destruct and blow the ship, or at least erase all the date. However, I feel (and this is headcanon) that Luthen didn't want to go out with a bang. Maybe its just my cope for it not having an explosive resolution.
KWAB
Am I the only one that thinks this final season felt very rushed? There jammed too many stories in. Andor should have been 3 seasons.
2 seasons is just too little. And Rogue One is such a shitty movie to be an epilogue to the show. Andor goes from main character to side kick in rogue one.
Cassian dumps a bunch of exposition about the Death Star that we already know and won't pay off in this show's narrative. They argue for 2 minutes about Luthen's trustworthiness. Bail Organa monologues about all the reasons Luthen is untrustworthy.
runtime, 4 minutes 40 seconds
Dunno why they made Bail act like such a dumb asshole in this scene
We establish the slave transmitters, the lack of Republic presence, explain podracing, Jedi reflexes, Qui-Gon reveals he's a Jedi, his death is foreshadowed, Anakin reveals his dream to be a Jedi, Qui-Gon's suspicions become apparent, and we set up the gambling plan
runtime, 3 minutes 30 seconds
what did he mean by this?
Dedra ending
But Luthen had a feeling that the Empire was onto him. That he had stayed too long and they had run out of "perfect" as they said. Then he killed Lonni.
Gonna ride my motorcycle and pretend it's a speederbike to forget. So fucking pathetic to be nearing 30 and be that upset that a show is ending. See you around /andor/, may kinos light your path.
*boop*
Tony Gilroy doesn’t like Star Wars, so Mothma, Bail, and Saw are whatever personality the writer feels like that day, who cares.
yeah it was terrible.
I get the impression that Gilroy spent at least as much time on episodes 7-9 as on the rest of the season combinated.
rosh deez nuts
Lonni deserved better
I feel like Luthen should have gone out in a blaze of glory. Like one final FU to the Empire. It fits better with Luthen's character with how much he hates the Empire.
Or
At least have Luthen help Loni escape with his family and maybe get killed in the attempt. Killing Loni was too dark. Even for Luthen.
Blame Tony Gilroy but at the same time, I understand him. The series came in too late after the release of Rogue One. He initially wanted to do 5 seasons but he saw it as an undertaking that wasn't worth it. It would have pretty much been a 10 year plan and he had reservations about everyone being too old by the end of it. So during production of S1 he decided to follow the same arc format he was doing for S1 but for condensing 4 years in to 4 arcs in S2. I wish we could have at least gotten 3-4 seasons but to be realistic with the level of production Gilroy was doing, it would have been so hard to keep up the quality for that extended amount of time. This seems like the best we could have gotten.
Getting caught and having your adopted daughter pull the plug before you're able to get tortured for information feels very Luthen
hear Luthen mention Yavin to Lonny
"What? That's way too risky, Luthen wouldn't risk mentioning Yavin unless..."
So from now on every character from Fondor will have a Swedish accent like Luthen?
I like how they accentuate the fact that humans in the galaxy can have different languages, not just the aliens.
Five seasons cramped into two, and they manage to put lesbian scene in it. Priorities.
Gotta remember, Bail is playing a different game entirely.
He initially wanted to do 5 seasons but he saw it as an undertaking that wasn't worth it.
based and accurate
3/10. Not enough subverted expectations. I'll stick with TLJ.
Guess Vel and Kleya hitched a ride to Alderaan with Bail at some point and that's how they die
Killing Loni was too dark. Even for Luthen.
the issue is that it doesn't gel with going back to the shop and getting caught like an idiot.
blaze of glory
unless he would burn brighter than ghorman, luthen would not want that at all
s1 monologue remember?
helping lonni
lonni said his family was safe & tucked away so no real guarantee they would have been safe
killing lonni
cursed to use the tools of his enemy
Only one way in for Dedra from now on.
Why didn't they listen to him? :(
I don't think I can stomach any kind of Jedi and their bullshit shiny swords after this. These are the real heroes, not them and their force cheat codes.
Why are you like this?
Nah I'm sure they're fine
He was literally burning the place. He expected to be gone in no time when Dedra showed up.
I can't believe Glub Shitto showed up
Getting caught is a very Luthen ending. He was playing with fire. And staying on Coruscant after Mon Mothma ran away was just asking to get caught. The empire would have examined all her close contacts. Luthen would have been one of them. The fact he wasn't caught after Mom's escape was a miracle.
Having Luthen not have a final solution for getting caught is out of character. When I was watching the episode, I was half expecting him to say one final "code word" out loud, and then the AI on his ship would trigger the ship explode and kill him and Deedra and the whole shop.
Glad I turned this shit off after the second arc, lol
Partagaz is mentioned many many times. I think Krennic's was the only mention of his first name though.
Having Luthen not have a final solution for getting caught is out of character
Tony Gilroy didn’t care.
I really thought the museum would have been rigged to blow
Lagret was a bro
GOAT ISB Supervisor
Wait - was Luthen's ship actually physically IN his shop?
I think maybe a personal flaw of Luthen, is that he genuinely cares about antiques and wouldn't want to destroy that history carelessly.
Deedra makes her great escape
As some other posts in this threads have touched upon and has been said in this general in general, the show would have been better served with a different season 2 arc 1 be that either starting with arc 2 or a completely different arc 1. That arc 1 we got does not move the season plot or the individual characters forward, providing little set-up for the next arc and doing little new exploration with the characters. The two most substantive things to come out of the arc was: 1) the set-up for Ghorman, which could have easily have been done in some completely reworked arc; and 2) Brasso's death, which we do not see the characters get to digest due to the time skip. Of the rest... Mon's daughter could have been married off-screen between the events of the seasons; there was little value in bringing her, Perrin and Sculdun back. The conclusions for the arc are basically apparent from the outset (we know Andor is going to get off Yavin, that Mon's daughter will go through with the wedding, that Tay is a deadman walking as soon as Luthen has his concerns) so there is no mystery or suspense, and we also do not really learn anything knew about the characters either (we already know Mon does not fully grasp how deep she is in, we already know that Luthen is ruthless). For whatever ideas there may have been in arc 1, it is just not economical with the limited number episodes they have.
They should have burned the place before they left to find Lonni. Lonni using emergency line usually means only two things. Either he's been caught or Lonni needs to escape with his family. You don't use the emergency line for something small.
Luthen isn't stupid. They tried to make him seem smart and clever but returning the shop was dumb.
every image and webm that people post of this turd is people being depressed, brown people being depressed, white people being depressed (or smug) in a gray room, and camerawork that resembles a shitty indie shoegazing movie
not my fucking star wars, thank you very much. ill take the adventure, fantasy and occasional characters being elated over whatever the fuck this is
no they didn't huh?
I thought partagaz was a planet or something. I guess my brain already decided he's the game of thrones guy, so his real name just goes in one ear and out the other.
That kid was born with drugs in it's system. Probably addicted too. Gonna be real fucked up like a meth baby.
star wars and/or
more like
star wars they/them
you actually watch this tranny shit?
He lives there.
jesus fuck you can see an ISB tech walk up the ramp while the other tech explains to heert & his 2ic how genius their setup was
He said he had two items of questionable providence. I thought at the end he was going to turn around with the second item which had a secret bomb or poison gas or something (like the listening device in the blind people's artifact).
the issue in general is the lack of contingency plans. Dedra arriving when she did was a complete coincidence, but given that Luthen knew the Imperials COULD show up at any time, just smiling and answering the door in that situation made no sense. she didn't even have to know that he was there.
Man this thread is lively. I enjoyed the final episodes. I'm honestly surprised Luthen didn't have the shop rigged to blow on short notice. I was expecting Luthen to blow it up during his meeting with Deedra.
I know he had to die but that was a rather weak ending for him. Luthen didn't even have a cyanide capsule in his tooth like a real spy?
In real life, you can read stories of places burning down to save evidence and spies killing themselves with cyanide to avoid capture.
It was parked behind it. Watch that scene over and you see imps board it.
*pew*
meth baby with infinite midichlorian count
kino
Luthen isn't stupid
Reminder that he also went to buy the Imperial Pathfinder from Andor without disguising himself at all, and after they escape from the building they leave it in, they stop almost immediately and start talking until they get shot at again
people being depressed, brown people being depressed, white people being depressed (or smug) in a gray room
First time watching a drama series?
Did sergeant 'Luthen' now about antiques beforehand or did he learn?
I thought it was a good ending for him with the flashbacks to young Kleya and him being being a literal terrorist before she got to push the button herself
there are no more contingencies, luthen said to kleya they used up all the perfect before he met with lonni
without disguising himself at all
Bro was showing his real power level to a low level noob. It happens from time to time.
Yeah earlier in the season I expected him to blow up with his antique shop in a confrontation.
I think it was arrogance though, he loves antiques, wouldn't want them destroyed, so figures he could just spend a 5 minutes destroying the necessary stuff, but then he only has 2 minutes.
A mistake, but it makes sense to me.
Should have a better way to kill himself though.
He seems like he'd be old enough to remember the Jedi and think their artifacts were neat. Even 50 year olds irl collect Pokemon cards.
you can have it aaaalllll
I didn't expect 5 seasons. But they could have squeezed out at least 3 seasons without the actors visibly aging too much.
Did Disney cut funding to Andor because it was outshining their other shitty Disney+ shows like Ahsoka and Skeleton Crew? I know Kathleen Kennedy is petty like that. Andor was getting more praise than all their other shows combined.
It's space acid that's really good at burning computers and it's a space computer so the hard drive's in the keyboard
I think Luthen thought he was gonna kill himself properly
imo he shoulda used that scary tricurved blade cassian was looking at last week (last year)
I love this freaky little Grandma just sat there making noises. I imagine she just pushed her down some stairs or something when she was done using her
So should I rewatch rogue one now? I haven't seen it since I went to see it in the cinema when it released.
Luthen is more knowledgeable about antiques and history than just things pertaining to the Jedi.
Seems like he must have had at least some knowledge beforehand. Whether or not that seems reasonable given he was seemingly just some career grunt, er?
dedra interrupted him bro
and since it was dedra & luthen is haughty, deciding to spar and possibly take her and/or himself out was the choice to be made
How the hell would he know that?
Luthen did not know that at all, that was a huge lead that Dedra figured out
The irl person that Luthen is based on (Jean Moulin) was caught by the nazis and tortured. He didn't give anyone in the French Resistance up and tried to killed himself multiple times. He was forgotten to history until decades later. It was always gonna go this way
he wasn't even disguised on the trip over, wasn't wearing a hood or anything to obscure his features, etc.
for a guy intending to purchase and smuggle something for which 'he would be hanged in the middle of Rix Road', that's just giga retarded
Remember how Syril's dad fancied himself an adventurer and bailed on his wife and kids? That was Luthen in his Indiana Jones phoase before joining the army.
I skipped the intro flashback just to watch cass on kafrene
bretty gud
The ending was bullshit. Luthen should have escaped the shop in his ship and blow up his shop. Maybe have him get shot down in the escape. Die like a man.
50 year olds collect pokemon
No. You're thinking of 35 year-olds.
it's shit just like andor
What did you think of this?
ON PROGRAM
Dedra goes to jail for almost leaking Death Star
two days later the Empire blows up 3 planets with it
Sagrona stops.
cucked sculdun but he really loves mon
bittersweet
me irl
damn I can't believe my new girlfriend is drunk passed out at like 10am
God I miss Mon and my daughter
this chick is kind of gross
guess I'll just get blackout drunk too
You mean he was astroturfed by the French so that they could pretend they did anything worthwhile during WW2. The French resistance barely did anything, even as far as intelligence.
That was probably his actual job on Fondor until he was drafted as a pilot
Leida's husband is now her step-brother.
Gilroy really doesn't care if he just had Dedra call it the Death Star, I really thought she'd call it Stardust
Literally seppuku
Would.
I bet she will jump on the zap floor in a week
Why exactly was that rebel council so dismissive of Luthen?
He should have done 3 seasons, filming s2 and s3 back to back.
And he should have taken on, for lack of a better word, an apprentice while doing this. Someone who he could teach his ways to, so that they could continue on after he leaves.
Anyone else think he looked a bit like Tarkin/Peter Cushing? Like I'm not saying he should have played Tarkin, but I thought he looked enough like him that I was always expecting them to drop some line or reveal that he was Tarkin's son or nephew or something.
it's okay guys no need to be sad. ahsoka season 2 will redeem itself and we will have kino again
Because he was constantly fucking with their plans and ordering their people around
He was an uncooperative loner that was influential enough to sway their agents into disobeying orders.
Ahsoka season 2
mix between Cushing and Gyllenhall
He has a reputation for scheming, working independently, pissing off people, having his own hidden agenda, not caring about people if it serves his cause. All the shit that caused Cass to finally have enough and tell him to fuck off after the Ghorman shit.
Anyone else think he looked a bit like Tarkin/Peter Cushing
Moreso in s1. He sure sounded like a limp wristed faig though. Probably just ultra british.
Bix kidnapping a white baby will be on my list of 10 most kino moment in Andor
This finale was really shit, and I can't believe you faggots are praising it. Feels like a psyop. Making Rebel leaders a bunch of retarded obnoxious cunts in the last episode was probably the worst.
where saw is all loud explosions & rhydo
luthen is about subtlety and getting his way, no matter the cost
Why would the empire not have Mons husband and daughter imprisoned?
Were most of them not cunts in Rogue One as well? Yes, yes they were.
What happens now vros? Just finished it and I realized we'll never ever get another SW production like this again for at least the next two decades
Making Rebel leaders a bunch of retarded obnoxious cunts
Leadership attracts a certain type of personality
Lost me job
Lost me rep
Lost me 'ouse
Lost me bub
'Ate me new job
mfw kill me now bzzzt
Had a great time watching all of Andor and Rogue One with my brother the past 2 weeks and now I feel empty... For what it's worth I completely understand when people say it's a bit of a slow burn (especially those first 3 episodes they felt like absolute filler), but I still really enjoyed it way more than the other SW shows of the past years.
Maybe they found it better to have the husband and daughter publicly denounce Mon? Maybe Sculdun's influence was such to shield them?
more filoni second screen sloppa
hopefully they will let gilroy make a movie or something, so we can look forward to that
wait another ten years
maybe Perrin is the new chandrilan senator who works as a puppet
Who was the drunk woman with mon husband? A nobody?
Andor.S02E10 is a peak Andor, and quality star wars
no cameos
Good
This is the end really. They cant really have any more Star Wars stuff around this time period. Everything else is going to be post Episode 9.
sculdun's ex wife
the mom of his daughter's husband
Writer said in one draft that Sculdun bought the holonet and he was who prevented Mon's senate speech from being shut down. Would be interesting to hear what in his mind happened that we'll never see.
Sculdun's (the father of the guy whose Perrin's daughter married) wife.
They'll keep fucking with it in Filoni shit. Unless they just want to forget about Omeega being a thing and that she joins the Rebels
They cant really have any more Star Wars stuff around this time period.
Why not? It's a big universe, it couldn't be tied to the central stories but it could be smaller scale. Following a group of smugglers. Or a minor politician dealing with power struggles. Street urchins fighting gang wars.
Or still current wife and she fucks Perrin on the side.
I'm trying to remember if they kissed or not, but someone I was watching the finale with got mad and said that he cheated on Bix by kissing Jyn in Rogue One now.
I thought to myself if Empire sacrifices people like this or Dedra, it will burn through quality material in a few years
the in-laws mom
watch rogue 1 now
all the characters look 10 years younger
immersion ruined
Man, Rogue One is going to feel like such a drop in quality
she left him
cass even says she's safer without him
there's still love but they're not together
oof, his ass gona get whooped real hard
They didn't, just hugged
just a playful glance in an elevator
no kissing
Street urchins
We just got that a week ago with Cad Bane's backstory cartoon.
They didn't kiss, they were just the only people around when they knew they were going to die so they hugged
perrinchad
sagrona!
How come Felicity Jones looks way older now compared to how she looked when Rogue One came out but Diego Luna basically looks the same?
They definitely didn't kiss. I didn't like Rogue One when I first saw it (going to rewatch later now that Andor is finished) but the fact that they didn't shoehorn in a relationship between them was one of the things that stood out to me as a good choice.
Nope, just a "shit, we're about to die"-hug.
It wildly different to Andor in tone, but Skeleton Crew is the 2nd best SW show.
standalone adventure
no Filoni slop or cameos
Jude Law as a space pirate
cool droid design
explores everyday life in the SW universe like Andor
She's a woman who had a baby
Nu yidney princesses don't get a kiss, anon. Get on with the program.
I just can't put up with the kiddie shit
I noticed that with the last shot of Krennic in the finale.
Diego Luna looks the same now as he did in Th Terminal
wtf rogue one was 10 years ago. ive wasted my life.
The problem is that no one asked for "Star Wars: Stranger Things".
I would trade Skeleton Crew for Andor Season 3 everytime.
Andor > Mando S1 > everything else
SC was ok but more or less on par with Ahsoka, which was shit outside of every scene with Baylan and Shin
The only good star wars show is Lucas clone wars. The only good star wars movies are Lucas six movies. Everything else is faggot shit, and you're a redditor.
yes, it's shit. in fact it was a waste to center a show around such a pointless and bland character/actor, it's a pure luck we got such a quality star wars content out of it
this
Even Tony Gilroy said he liked it.
Shit ending. Luthen would have had multiple backup plana ready to go. Especially since he knew the Empire was on to him. He would have blown up the shop or set it on fire.
go back
Must be annoying for the rebels who were working all along the way that Luke basically stole all the credit.
What bike do you have?
she can do better than him
as an african
Stopped reading right there.
SAY IT!
am I your daughter now?
That was kind of sad
As an old person, I can confidently say that at some point you're ready to fucking die.
Well he is the one who took the shot. It was still Leia who took all the credit though, canonically.
Nah even in Empire Luke is just still one of the boys. By RotJ they probably don't even remember Luke since he's off doing Jedi shit
I don't care if it's cliché or whatever, I liked this for one reason and one reason alone
Cassian will never come back for B2EMO
B2 will at least have Cassian's kid
Luke probably got scolded for leaving "his" X-wing on Cloud City. At least he returned the one he used in RotJ.
i figured out how to change the subs
Same, just watched the last few episodes an I thought that scene was pretty lame. Not just him not finishing the destruction, but everything else as well. I mean, what was Dedra's plan: Walk in there alone and monologue at the suspect so he and any accomplices have time to destroy eveidence and kill themselves? And Luthen's plan in case of emergeny was to stabb himself with the nearest random object?
Now I noticed Kleya only smiled like 2 times in the series :(
is Palpatine in the show at all?
I'll rewatch it this weekend, also haven't seen it since it came out
Beyond being referenced, no.
No
muh cartoons
you are the worst sort of person
No. While cameos are pretty shit now, I will admit I was hoping we'd get to see him in a scene.
Stop posting so many Reddit and Twitter screenshots no one cares about what “people” there say
Luthen tries to an hero by slitting his wrists then gets the plug pulled by his surrogate daughter
Wasn't on my Star Wars bingo card
Was a little disappointed with that, hoped that he'd at least make a final stand or sacrifice himself saving Cassian or something
In Spirit
slit wrists
stabbed himself in the heart
is he andor jr?
too white
yes
why do you think that? there's no blaze of glory for someone who orchestrated the early rebellion from the shadows
Okay so where's my stormtrooper/tie fighter pilot show?
if literally me can't save SW then it's not worth saving
he's going to be a jedi 100%
god i fucking hope so, we need this bros
What do you mean?
the trooper armor with officer kepi is my least favorite variant ever.
I'm now scared to watch Rogue One and feel the drop in quality
2027
This goofy ass millenial quirky rat face mf
NGMI
This was funny.
Tech dork admiring Luthen's tech and her supervisor shaking his head, like no, don't compliment the terrorist in front of the gestapo you dumbass.
you will be able to tell what was a gilroy reshoot and what is from the og retard crew
He's going to have that stutter because B2EMO raised him, so he doesn't speak much.
Here you go anon. Enjoy.
Should I leave the memory of Rogue One in the past or should I rewatch it now?
Rogue One is shit
rewatch it anon, it's way better than you remember
We could have had sooo much 'comfy but also terrifying office job at the ISB' kino if they'd made more seasons.
What was even the deal with the sequel trilogy? Like where did the new empire come from?
noobody knows
uhm.....
What if Filloni was in charge of the last 3 episodes
How does he end it? Reminder he have to tie it with Rogue One
Somehow it returned.
read the books bigot
uh... the resistance had to stop them
ISB christmas party
Ahsoka shows up.
The first half was a bit jarring, last hour is still pure kino though
luthen is a grey jedi and kills of ISB and then uses space whales to travel to yavin 4 with kleya who is actually princess leia
does nothing
wow, bravo
kek
Luthen would not go out like a bitch.
needs more monologues
all of*
Potentially some kind of one off uncle Harlo episode, where Syril gets involved in whatever mid level scams his uncle is doing, and Dedra has to swoop in to clean it all up before they all get disintegrated.
the gala was kino
tfw was only 26 when Rogue One came out
After skimming the first order wiki page the only explanation is just
they hid in the unknown regions building strength
that's it
A somehow even shittier version of how the Dark Empire came about.
It's mainly strange how quickly Jyn becomes a main character.
And Diego's accent hadn't settled in yet.
They cast him to bring white woman back to enjoy star wars with their new white incel bf isn't he?
I've seen Rogue One but it's been like 10 years since then, barely remember much aside from the ending
I like how Partagaz was supposed to be there, but since he couldn't he just let another ISB guy go instead.
It's like, eh, have fun.
You'd think after genociding the EU they'd have the braincells to attempt better stories but noooo they SOMEHOW made Legends-At-Home
no. it's poe
Calling all emergency baker. Repeat. Emergency baker needed. We need new bread.
I hope he's a sith of a grey jedi.
Honestly i loved the first movie of the sequel trilogy but where the fuck Snoke came from?
a good story... for another time
in rogue one, who did morgana mean when he said he'd call a jedi friend? ahsoka? no one showed up
Sith Business
Waste of screen time, like the middleeastern guy, Bix and Blandor. In this case it's surprising for Forest Whitaker to be this mid
Obi-Wan
nu
We get that answered in Andor, Bix gave birth to Snoke.
I've seen Rogue One but it's been like 10 years since then, barely remember much aside from the ending
that's because it was crap
krennic gets shot in rogue one
no big deal
armored stormtroopers get shot
instantly die
Lonny is the true MVP
so for who was Luthen fighting before in his war crimes days?
was either early empire or late clone wars era
And thanks to the fact that Kleya survived and ended up on Yavin, it means his story and his sacrifice will be known.
obviously empire
yes, sad ending for him, wonder what happened to his family
I DID NOT EXPECT DEDRA'S ENDING
we all were she is going
picrel
Some guy in the last thread said that she will get pardoned. really? no WAAAY. She is destroyed completely. There is only ONE WAY OUT for her boys....
dedraboys are losing it
RIP Dedra. She is def killing herself
ONE WAY OUT
I hate the kids I hate kid written shows so much
Some guy in the last thread said that she will get pardoned
Pardoned when the Empire collapses. She's going to be doing hard labor for 3-4 years first.
I think Luthen lacked manpower at this point; he didn't have time to find someone fast for Lonni and destroy the evidence. Plus lonni knows too much
my boy didn't deserve it lol
ON PROGRAM, anons!
she was ISB, she wouldnt pbe pardoned by the new republic and would probably be executed
You missed the point
anon, she ain't surviving all those years.
Better question is, will she do it when the shift ends, so that her cell-block has to smell her all night(Dialogue in S1 when one of the prisoners did it)or will she wait until the sleep time is almost over and then do it
hmmmm
it is kinda poetic that in a way she is "helping" to finish the Death Star lol
If they do it like in The Mandalorian and what happened with former Imperials. The New Republic wouldn't execute someone like Dedra, they'd either scramble her brains and lobotomized her or have her in some sort of re-integration program like the doctor that experimented on Grugo, before he got his brain scrambled by a deep state Imperial cell.
it's also poetic that she starts her life in the imperial kinder block and will end it in imperial prison block. kino
