The show wants you to relate to Tony but Chris is more relatable (I am a manlet wop with anger issues as well)

I dont think Chris had anger issues. Being a crackhead and not wacking Paulie every chance he had, scalated a lot of problems for himself.

Chris was a major fuckup. His heroin addiction ruined his life. But he was a great character for the show which was filled with horrible people with fucked up lives.

I never really liked Tony and after he killed Ralph I actively wanted him clipped. Chris is arguably a bigger piece of shit than even Tony but he has a more interesting arc. A Hit is A Hit and D-Girl are actually two of my favorite episodes

It was like they wrote the show so that you really could not like Tony. You try to identify with his troubles but then he does horrible shit like constant cheating on his wife and screwing over friends for money. I wish the show would have ended with Tony dying in the most horrible way instead the cut to black ending. He got off easy unlike many of the other characters in the series. Still, it was an amazing series with great acting, soundtrack and cinematography.

None of the characters in this show are relatable. Realistic and believable as real people but they go out of the way to show you how utterly feral and toxic these goons are.
Every rewatch of this kino leaves me hating the characters more and more (and that's a good thing)

I wish the show would have ended with Tony dying in the most horrible way

Should have ended with undead Christopher coming back as cleaver to exact his revenge

what if Furio pushed him into the blades

*make character relatable*

"you're not supposed to relate to him"

Tony's mother is very realistic, and so is his wife and kids

That's because Sopranos manages to be a terrific mob show and a terrific family drama at the same time. Also Edie Falco's performance when Carmela has a nervous breakdown over Tony's continued infidelity is probably some of the best acting I've ever seen. Truly felt like watching the real breakdown of a marriage

Scene where he passes out due to drug coma and kills his woman's dog

Literally did same thing to ex girlfriends cat

She never found out I just threw it a passing body of water

I OD'd shortly after within a week

She stayed with me almost a year after that

I didn't deserve her. She deserved better

scalated

I'm dying here.

Me too. made me cry because it reminded my my folks fighting when i was a kid

The scriptwriting arc hit close to home for me, I want to do these things but I am always secretly giving up from the very beginning and purposely self-sabotage to ensure failure so that I can avoid actually trying and potentially failing for real

I thought Paulie and Chris were pretty good together. Of course they hated each other but that made for some great scenes and episodes. The Pine Barrens episode is one of my favorites where Paulie and Chris get stuck in the Jersey Pine Barrens chasing a crazy assed Russian special forces guy.

Alright but you gotta get over it

I'm 39yo and I'm doing my very first viewing, s1e2 right now specifically. When the fuck does it get good?

Lately when faced with difficult situations I imagine what Chris would do and then do the same thing and it’s mostly worked out ok. I think Chrissy is alright.

The ending of S1E3 with Meadows choir performance and Brendan’s execution is the precise moment I knew I was watching kino

Unc, what are you doing here? You don't have a family to discuss this with? At 39?

It's gonna be okay Chrissy :(

Lay off me already, your like my fucking ma alright?

He will have his sausages...

Try heroin

Very observant anon, the sacred and the propane.

season 1 is the best one but you won't get it until rewatching
it really starts to become an entirely different show in season 2 though, and the difference between the final season and the first are miles apart. Not to say season 1 is bad, but it isn't really "sopranos" if you catch my drift

Chris's final moments were niggerbrained, yeah just gundown a TV writer for no reason lol

hijack? bye, jack.

Let's be real, he deserved it.

You'll grow up eventually.

but FEECH is more relatable

FEECH.jpg - 600x429, 32.38K

wanting Marvel capeslop endings is "growing up"

lmao

FUCK that nigger. I truly hated his stupid fucking voice… fucking rude asshole. He’s like a shittier paulie
Jk he did a good job being unlikable and unruly, I like how they dealt with him in the show

She musta crawled under there for warmth

Sentry isn't slop. He's more complex than Christopher and maybe even Tony.

I don't know what he's whining about, he pretty much died the same way Phil did, executed right in front of his family with plenty of witnesses.

hello me

The Pine Barrens episode is one of my favorites where Paulie and Chris get stuck in the Jersey Pine Barrens chasing a crazy assed Russian special forces guy.

I've never heard of this episode. Are you sure it was from "The Sopranos" (1999/HBO)?

Unc, what are you doing here? You don't have a family to discuss this with?

I'm 45 and have no family to discuss it with. Just you faggot. And a woman wouldn't understand the intricacies of it. They would just talk about Carmela's outfits or some shit. And any kids would be glued to tiktok like retards.

You're insane. Feech was based and the actor is incredible. They had to write him off because he had early dementia and had trouble with his lines, but you would never guess it from the footage.

Comendatori

Bleddit is thattaway...

All the old school mobsters were annoying and retarded

a good job being unlikable and unruly

that was every OLD SCHOOL character

Junior

Richie

Ralphie

Tony surrounded himself with unproductive sycophants then wondered why they never got shit done.
You may not like Feech, Ralphie and Ralphie, but they took charge and got shit done

actual Italian from New Jersey is totally out of place in a show about Italians from New Jersey

To be fair juniors crew all got locked up

To be fair juniors crew all got locked up

i don't think you actually paid attention to what was going on in The Sopranos

Tony was not an effective leader. He was incompetent and not up for the role. Thats what the Varsity athlete bit is about

The old school guys from juniors crew got locked up, literally all the old school guys you mention like Ritchie and Feech were locked up too same with Tony B and Phil and when they got out Tony DID try to integrate them so WTF is your problem

based. I'm 41 and broke up with my serious gf a couple years ago. There are 1000 things more interesting to do with your time than being a husband.

the later seasons are only good for your first watch, except the thing where the gay guy i forgot goes on his little vacation

sopranos early seasons are rewatchable, later seasons are not, show is too morbid and boring

Tony DID try to integrate them so WTF is your problem

tony couldn't manage any of them
even Tony Blundetto. All Tony could manage was the retard zoomer, Chresstufuh

sopranos early seasons are rewatchable, later seasons are not, show is too morbid and boring

What a horrific opinion

There are 1000 things more interesting to do with your time than being a husband.

loving a WIFE is the best

okay but you gotta get over it

hold on its a

"new guy wants to fuck Carmela season"

REALLY-TONE.png - 310x354, 158.04K

Ritchie selling coke on association garbage routes

Feech not kicking up money and working with New York behind the scenes

Tony B killing a made man and a capo’s brother in a rival family without permission

The Furio storyline is the worst in the entire show. I get the idea of her falling for him. But him falling for her? Marronne...

But him falling for her?

Father Guido
English Teacher
Hardware Guy
Vito

"Everyone Wants to Fuck Carmela"

the later seasons are only good for your first watch, except the thing where the gay guy i forgot goes on his little vacation

This must be intentionally dishonest, or you're sub-100 IQ.

Father Guido

I don't think he fell for her. He just like the attention that he got from women, but never acted on it. He also liked mooching off their food and creature comforts

English Teacher

Kinda makes sense. Middle aged guy, boring job. Carmela looks good for her age.

Hardware Guy

Same shit as the English teacher. Middle aged guy. He also lost his wife recently and was looking to fill that hole. Carmela practically threw herself at him.

Vito

Just wanted to prove he wasn't a faggot because he had no one to talk to about it.

It’s me. I’m the new guy.

As Tony said

this is a business

alright alright quit bustin my balls

everything before season 3 is basically slice of life
everything after is hardcore drama, simply not interested in it

Carmella is attractive and has mostly a good personality. And Vito never fell for her, he just wanted to appear to be the most helpful capo while Tony was in a coma, hence his nice behavior toward Carm.

I relate more to season 6 AJ honestly.

aj.jpg - 1277x768, 122.9K

kill yourself over the Israeli/Palestine conflict

How do you think AJ would have handled the new war?

And Vito never fell for her

2 episodes in season 6 where they had a close love scene together

We have to break our dependence on foreign oil

Tony jumped in the pool for the baby ducks

Later he had to jump in the pool to save his baby duck

POTTERY

We have to break our dependence on foreign oil

We have to break Tesla's.

no. I don't remember Vito "falling" for Carm, and looked at that S6ep2 plot and there's nothing about him falling for her. Vito acted nice to her and wanted to be seen as helpful to score points with Tony if he wakes up. You are dead wrong.
