This is an obvious Marxist psyop and normies are eating it up. Why?

This is an obvious Marxist psyop and normies are eating it up. Why?

It's babys first crime show. It's blowing their minds

It has the Star Wars brand name and it makes the critics clap because it's "mature", so the normalfags follow suit.

It's the correct ideology is all.

normies are eating it up

No one's watching it

Because it at least tries to present a substantive message rather than a milquetoast virtue signal. People are willing to tolerate the obvious agenda because it tries to at least pose an argument and tell a story rather than shame chuds for hating it.

Also, Star Wars fans have very low standards, so a 7/10 show is a godsend to them.

The thought of Mon Mothma getting hammered and fucking every hot young stud on the waitstaff gets me rock hard

Normies aren't watching it. The ratings are disaster. It's reddit commie troons who watch Blandor.

Does she owe Erskine sex for helping her escape?

It's funny to meme about marxism but in reality being against mega authoritarianism (the empire) is something pretty much anyone in the current overton window. Most people are more liberal than the empire in Star Wars.
So to be against the empire like this is not necessarily Marxist. The rebels don't push any alternative economic system and after removing the emperor the galaxy simply reverts back to liberal capitalism.

One is a boilerplate flowery political speech which boils down to "Lies are bad."
The other is still being talked about 20 years later because it features two incredibly original characters (Jar Jar and Palpatine) delivering immortal lines that only one man could write.

stop making sense

This is an obvious Marxist psyop

are those rates already cut son?

THE DEATH OF TRUTH IS THE ULTIMATE VICTORY OF EVIL

eating it up

Only Star Wars fans who liked S1. No one is really watching Andor

It’s funny because the eventual New Republic is basically just a neo-liberal regime no more left than the Clinton presidency. Millions of space commies died for this.

top is some fag writer seething about le orange man

bottom is a good and kindhearted character tragically being used as a pawn by the evil mastermind

Can't believe gen xers and söylennials treated George so badly. It's their fault media is shit and they eat slop like the top pic up like greedy piggies

dude I live in a banana republic and I can relate with Mon Mothma words
She also makes my pepe hard but that's another topic

Expand your horizons.

This is an obvious Marxist psyop and normies are eating it up. Why?

there's still time for you to join us... before it's too late for you.

I sure fucking think so. Goddd I love the lieutenant

Crime

Andor is a political thriller.

What some call criminals, others call heroes. So it goes

Stop.

They are literally two different genres.

Fucking basedlennials don't even like Glup Shitto

Because zoomers love marxism and being "rebels", just like their boomer grandparents

theyre still doing orange man bad? get a new schtick

They don't understand the things I say on twitter
All my niggas Sidious , nigga heil Palpatine
Nigga heil Palpatine nigga heil Palpetine
All my niggas Sidious, nigga heil Palpatine

lol

His speech was totally misunderstood by the online media and content creators. They took it as some kind of character redemption. When it really was a simple confirmation of how hedonistic, shallow and vapid he was. The speech was meant to show why Mon literally gives zero fucks about leaving him.

But online troons actually agree and think like him, which is why they mistakingly took it as a redemption

This show with 3 of the best episodes in TV history is 7/10. Actually LOL maybe I was almost being sarcastic but there are so many bad episodes too.

Wow anon you sound like one of those media literate people I keep hearing about

s2 was utter garbage, I dont care how good the last 3 episodes will be. It's another useless disney slop show now

What's marxism? I dont even know what that means

It's ironically the best written thing you will currently find on tv, The bar is extremely low of course, we're not dealing with season 1 of the wire here and you'll never see anything like that again.
But this is as good as it's probably going to get again at this point. Enjoy it while you can anon.

Andor Season 1 had two good story arcs out of four. Arcs two and three. Andor Season 2 so far has had one good story arc with one to go. So the jury is still out on whether or not S2 can match the overall quality of S1.

I will say that the S2 highs are higher but the S2 lows have also been lower than S1 because the first arc of this season where Andor gets captured by a bunch of retards was not good and was easily the worst arc of the entire series. But then the Gorman massacre followed by the Senate escape was all time peak GOAT tier so it evens out.

How is a tv show having a message a psyop?

I'm never going to enjoy disney slop. 7 episodes of nothing happening and then we get one plaza street fight. Utterly worthless

why are you here?

what was the good arc in s2?! the worst one is probably the entire stranded arc where he fights a bunch of random people for no reason on some random planet. who gives a SHIT

So don't watch it then?
It sounds kinda like you watched it so, who is at fault here?

I'm here 100% to shit on Ander s2 because it's garbage and Disney wasted my time. At least I didn't pay to have my time wasted, their disney+ ads disclaimer prevented that from happening.

cool continue to seethe and suffer and I'll continue to opinion discarded you. deal?

I'm actually digging the release format of this season. I think it's brilliant. Three comfy episodes per week to sit down and really sink your teeth into? Yes please. This needs to become a thing

Your brain is so thoroughly dominated you see liberation theology, even presented in fantasy sci-fi, as sinister.

i bet you're still going to watch the next three episodes and blame Disney for wasting your time because you don't seem to get the whole don't watch 12 episodes of something you don't like part.

your responses make it clear how you are the one that is seething. Why care about one guy who doesnt like your crappy slop show? S1 was good, S2 was bad. You shouldn't have blindly watched it. You emotionally invested into a bad thing.

if by "seething" you mean looking forward to ep10-12 well you're right

of course I'm watching them but I've already skipped ~20-30% of the last episodes and if I had known that there was never a payoff I would have skipped far more in the earlier episodes as well. I skip all content that is bad, I'm not a cuck. How about you, lil buddy?

I can't stand how washed out it looks, how the environments just look like dingy real life cities and how brown everyone is. A big part of Star Wars is fantastical worlds and alien species interacting with intelligent droids and shit, this is just Aladdin in Detroit.

ALSO I HATE NORMALFAGS KNOWING ABOUT THINGS LATER THAN ME, KEEP MON MOTHMA'S NAME OUT OF YOUR FUCKING MOUTH, I'VE KNOWN OF HER SINCE I PLAYED DARK FORCES AS A KID

I'm part of it.

I'm good.

This. It works really well for streaming.

holy SHIT, you are making me remember all the terrible scenes in s2 now. The wedding scenes went on for multiple episodes. MULTIPLE EPISODES. What came out of it? nothing. Just some people talking, nobody is invested into the wedding of some random npc side character so what were we invested in? The 2-3 lines of intrigue somewhere could have been condensed into a single 2min scene. Disney has this style where they brutally waste your time and I'm here to wake people up. Silo is the same if not worse. If you unironically sit through Silo without skipping tons of content you are insane. Although at least in Silo every scene has some sort of connection to the end of the plot, that's not even going to be the case here. All those wedding scenes will never be used again, meaning that the daughter will be irrelevant. They might use her again in s3 somewhere for equally useless plot.

You might think you would clue in to stop spending hours of your life watching something you don't enjoy little buddy.

NTA but I really despise niggers like you. He isn't making some statement about how the show doesn't personally appeal to him, he's pointing out that it's BAD, you passive aggressive dick sucking faggot.

I'm good.

lol, ok then.

This week's third arc out of four was the first truly good arc of the season. The ep 8 Gorman massacre was really solid but i.m.o. the ep. 9 Senate escape episode was absolute god tier. Ep 9 with the entire Senate escape sequence is where the character of Cassian Andor actually earned his place up with the greats of the franchise. Cassian Andor ALWAYS shoots first. I'm glad they didn't pussy out and shy away from it and worrying about it becoming a meme and instead Disney actually showed some balls for once and leaned into it.

It was always before where Disney would shy away from anything becoming too interesting. Like how they teased Rey turning to the dark side in TROS. Even in previews before it came out. But literally NOBODY on planet earth, not a single living soul believed it for a second. Not even a microsecond. Because it would have been too interesting and Disney is too creatively bland to do something that bold and interesting with a character.

At least with Andor they actually go there and have him shoot mutherfuckers in the face before they even have a chance to think.

It's objectively not bad though. You're just a contrarian faggot who wants to suck another contrarian faggots wiener.

IDK man, television is way too focused on everything having to be part of a plot or part of a characters development these days. Having a wedding arc just to show people how a wedding looks in the setting and show the characters act during a wedding is fine.

But then again they also decided to jam four seasons worth of stuff into one season, so that same time could have been spent on the Yavin plot or elsewhere.

It's objectively bad though. You're just a consumerist faggot.

It's not at all. Season 1 was far tighter and I could criticize many things in season 2, but all you've got is uhhhhhhhhhhhhh it's bad! cuck! nigger! faggot!
If you have some specific points about why you think the whole season is an unrecoverable wash then post them.

Here's a damning one: Andor has brown skin.

Calm down lil' chud, anti-authoritarism isn't necessarily marxist

That'll be $44.96, comrade marxist. Debit or credit?

2025-05-09.png - 2351x803, 604.74K

I mean, technically Andor starts off as a "thief"
Closer to Robin Hood than anything else since he targets the Empire as a big faceless "bad guy" he can victimize freely.
Though one shouldn't forget he did have a lot of debts back on Ferrix. Many would say that reflects negatively on his character, but obviously they were just going for a Han Solo type thing with that.

There's nothing marxist about it, and you have brain worms if you think there is. Every line in Nemik's manifesto could be for or against right or left, and that's a lost art. There's just a lot of faggots here addicted to victimhood who take things written neutrally and try to turn them into The Message or whatever. "oh fuck a female politician, obviously this is hillary!" you're insufferable

NTA but the first three episodes of this season were underwhelming After the two year wait for S2. And then nothing really stands out about the second arc of S2.

But what plebs and midwits fail to understand imis that the season is meant to evaluated as a whole. Not episode by episode. This isn't TNG where every episode is standalone and the series basically reboots itself the next week. A show like Andor S2 is one overarching story that needs to be evaluated as a whole. Or at the very least by each three episode arc.

Long time Anons will remember how people were whining and complaining in threads the early episodes of Breaking Bad during the later seasons. Anons were complaing that the early episodes of the season were too slow and not enough was happening. But then by the later episodes of those very same seasons Anons where like ZOMG OMG ZOMG!!

It was all because the series took the time to put in the work of those slower early season episodes which gave the later episodes more weight and meaning.

For the most part it's the same method and execution with Andor

Yeah, the first three were kind of a mess really.
Every arc kind of has the same problem in that the first episode falls flat trying to get things on track.
There are some points i really dislike like the "well we have to show how Andor and K2 meet" scene went down
But it's objectively not bad, more flawed than season 1, but still the best thing anyone ever bothered to write for star wars.

The K2 thing was so dumb. He's in the middle of rushing off to save his girlfriend but they have to stop and have a chat about how they've seen each other, then help Cass move a big ass droid into the halftrack because it's apparently valuable enough to drop what they are doing and try to scavenge it in the middle of their escape despite it being heavily damaged. If they were that valuable wouldn't we have seen them get stolen at other points and then used for the rebellion?

it's apparently valuable enough to drop what they are doing

yeah no shit it is, did you see what one is capable of?

But the Andor S2 is release format solves the issue of having a single slow paced episode for the week. It literally solves the issue. There's no waiting until next week for the payoff. You just hit skip credits and keep watching. But at the same time the release format is miles better than the Netflix way of dropping the entire season at once. With Netflix it's there and gone. With the Andor three eps per week you get an entire month of Andor kino. It's a win win.

But they only ever bother to get a hold of one

No just Europoor (functionally pinko). Square massacre was cut & paste from Euromaidan in Ukraine.

The stunt work when they were tossing people around like basketballs was 10/10. Like truly impressive in our current era of constant weightless cgi.

$44.96

kek
Are they fucking joking?

I would say the k2 scene was the worst part of the whole season. It drastically affected my perception of that arc.
Bix just fucking off was weak to me too, It feels like Disney is saving her for the Ahsoka period by making her kind of force sensitive and shoving that character off to the side. I hope i'm wrong and there's some meaningful conclusion to her story and why Andor goes right after Bunny in Rogue One

normies are eating it up

source?

normies are eating it up

No one gives a shit about this show.

space cope and seethe

They’re born liars writing shit like this with a straight face

even Grok agrees that you are the liars

Imagine if Andor used K2 the way Jon uses Arnold in T2. Just shooting imperials in the knee caps as they walk in to steal the plans.

In my headcanon Palpatine is a Marxist so it's really an Old Republic psyop. That's what I like about it. Seeing the ruthless state function before it collapses.

Guys why are radical messages about overthrowing the current authority resonating in a world that has become a hellscape? I don't get it!

pfffffffffffffffffffffffffffff

It has the Star Wars brand name and it makes the critics clap because it's "mature", so the normalfags follow suit.

''who are you''

never mind we already know

Its a steelbook dumbass

white man bad

Lesbians good at everything and white man fuck it up

only women can do anything right

all good guys are POC

Interracial relationship good! all white women fall for skinny somali looking light skin brown man

white men are traitors!

I will never watch star wars again, I hope this series fucking dies now.

Palpatine is canonically, inescapably, a reactionary holdover from a past autocratic regime that seeks revenge against and destruction of a republic and Jedi Order that supplanted that regime. There's nothing revolutionary about his ideology, nothing progressive, nothing proletarian, not any of the themes or buzzwords you can associate with Marxism. Lucas based him on Hitler, Napoleon, Caesar, and Nixon. Imagining him as a Marxist is wishcasting.

Keep not getting it.

Both are dumb shit

I just dont get it!

7ed6676ee67.jpg - 483x487, 37.71K

the art and job of the writers is to make it seem like you are watching scenes from the lives of people but they all somehow form important parts of a story that end up mattering in the end. Even sometimes just for character development but those character development scenes are meant to later explain story choices that the people make. To just have a bunch of wedding scenes to move the plot an inch forward in 2h is a crime, it is a misunderstanding of what writing is supposed to be.

This is bigger than one administration. There are Palpatines on both sides of the aisle. Hence the so-called "Marxist" messaging taking hold.

Creepy Biden.png - 425x385, 234.89K

Lucas based him on Hitler, Napoleon, Caesar, and Nixon.

Is this confirmed?

Accordingly, Saw Gerrera's name is a "mnemonic riff" on real-life Argentinian revolutionary and associate of Castro - Che Guevara as revealed in The Art of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Lucasfilm Story Group's Kiri Hart was the one who suggested that the character be used in Rogue One

I love seeing chuds lose their minds

Nixon connection

slashfilm.com/1224356/george-lucas-might-not-have-written-star-wars-without-richard-nixon/

Shortly before the release of the 1983 film, Lucas was asked whether Palpatine had been a Jedi in the days leading up to the Empire. "No, he was a politician," Lucas answered. "Richard M. Nixon was his name. He subverted the senate and finally took over and became an imperial guy and he was really evil. But he pretended to be a really nice guy."

Connection to past dictators

web.archive.org/web/20020605161308/http://www.time.com/time/covers/1101020429/story2.html

"I'm more on the liberal side of things," he says. "I grew up in San Francisco in the '60s, and my positions are sort of shaped by that ... If you look back 30 years ago, there were certain issues with the Kennedys, with Richard Nixon, that focused my interest." Lucas' own geopolitics can sound pretty bleak: "All democracies turn into dictatorships—but not by coup. The people give their democracy to a dictator, whether it's Julius Caesar or Napoleon or Adolf Hitler. Ultimately, the general population goes along with the idea ... What kinds of things push people and institutions into this direction?"

Napoleon and Caesar were both leftist.

It’s more amusing that these writers bouncing off each other can’t even come up with something as intriguing as Lucas. Shit on the execution all you want but you’ll never see something like the story of the prequels in the franchise again, an essence of evil orchestrating a war between two sides to usurp power in the aftermath. Even the sequels just end up going back to “evil empire wants to take over the galaxy”. No creativity or passion whatsoever exists in these people

No. Spartacus was the "leftist" as much as it can be said that a left existed back then. Caesar was a demagogue who appealed to the Roman poor, who in the social structure of the time, were actually the middle classes, above slaves and conquered peoples. This has more parallels to later fascist politics.

The Imperials killed all the space Christians then blew up a planet. How is rebelling against that Marxist?

The Jedi regularly fucked up diplomatically & was a retarded ideology. Something like that as an order was never going to last Empire or not

Why does this show upset prequelfags so much more than anything else Disney made?

Now we have prequel fags, anti NuWars fags AND Filoni fags all screeching
