Gone Girl is the perfect example of how good regular adult movies should be. In the 80s boomers similarly had War of the Roses, Fatal Attraction, Witness, Ricochet, Klute. It just has a classic popcorn soda scope but it was in a race by itself. Even that actress hasn't done shit after it, and this was like her Basic Instinct

Really great movie. The part(s) where Affleck does the TV interview, her identity being found out among the hicks, and then coming home are all 10/10. Ending is a 9/10 and there are some tiny parts throughout the movie that drag just a touch, but overall really good shit.
