she's only 17 in this movie
not a big deal

they'll never make a faithful, age appropriate, lolita adaptation

the biggest cinema blackpill

of all boards for you faggot subhuman pedophiles to infest why Anon Babble? skip the loli kino like this or leon or whatever else

Look at this newfag lmao

they've been here longer than you

Been thinking lately maybe I should read the book, see what all the fuss is about. Haven't watched the movies either.

unreliable narrator. jew is lying to you

you hear what those adult film ladies who live long enough to be interviewed say? when they were children, as soon as they didn't show fear anymore, the man lost interest.

what the hell are you talking about. pedophiles calling everyone normie and assuming everyone online is also a pedophile is the most animal race shit i've heard. you're going to burn in Hell, jew.

he's saying you're a newfag because Anon Babble has always traditionally been full of pedophiles/people joking about being pedophiles/"pedophiles" who want to fuck the 14 and 15 year old Nickelodeon girls/etc. since as early as like 2010 or more. In 2011 people posted openly about liking 13 year old actresses and wanting to bang them. Having fucking waifu threads about them.

You're a newfag because you think pedos on Anon Babble is anything new.

It may shock you to know that back in the day Anon Babble had a /loli/ board.

catching? not pitching?

I wouldn't say she was a villain but she wasnt the innocent being the protagonist was hoping for.
In the movie Lolita was always a seductress. Always.
His expectations about Lolita were wrong and misplaced.

The fact the book got so many adaptstions proves that moralfags are a tiny loud minority

This nigga doesn't know about the hidden board

Does 17 still count as cunny?

nabokov is a great writer

I honestly thought the book would be pedobait thanks thanks to the cultural perception of the term "lolita", but it's literally the opposite. In fact it's one of the most anti-pedo books I've ever read.

Shame retards in media and Hollywood decided to do a 180 when interpreting, Kubrick being one of the worst early offenders

just make it yourself in a couple years with ai

that's one lewd LolitaPop

That's one bad dude

It's got really great prose, it's like music to my ears

I swear i found a place called lolichan and i never saw it again. Maybe i dreamed it.

Loli website

Why would be burn in hell? Loli is legal in all religions
What’s with this fake moral outrage over lolis? Is it because I’m reality you have no real taboos and need to make one up?
Also you literally are on a website founded on Japanese loli cartoons

she's only 17

only 17

only

17

isn't that way too old for you chomos?

The real life Lolita story is depressing af

Girl is bullied, lonely

Kidnapped by a rapist con man

Blamed by her mother and school for not being a virgin anymore

Can't discuss what happened to her with anyone except for one friend

Dies from a horrible car accident when she is 15 when all she ever wanted was a boyfriend, a normal life

girls and women of any age are the wrong age for a chomo

It saddens me that any new adaptation wouldn't have anyone that can top Dominique.

That's more or less what happens in the book as well anon

idk man was "Star Wars" the bad guy?

The book is unadaptable for multiple reasons, obvious to anyone who's read it.

That dude he killed at the end was literally me.

It's not unadaptable, it's just that Hollywood is too retarded to make a faithful adaptation.

A true adaptation would be a semi-comedic/romantic story with an unreliable narrator that ends up darker and darker when you realize how unreliable, psychotic and self-obsessed the narrator actually is.
Obviously a shitton of the literary and cultural references would get lost, but that doesn't make it unadaptable.

She was, the guy basically groomed and fucked her and destroyed her life in the process.

Still calls it loli kino

Kek

Wdym? Humbert in the Kubrick version is utterly detestable. It just doesn't hit you in the head over it.

Hes much much more detestable in the book, which is exactly the problem. In the book he's a pathetic pedo who thinks he's full of himself, thinks he's more attractive than he actually is, it's even implied that he murdered Dolores' mom and she didnt "seduce him" or some random bullshit like that. The movie basically tries to redeem him as much as is possible

How do you convey an unreliable narrator when you can see what's happening?

an unreliable narrator adaptation has to pick a version of events. Kubrick's adaptation is completely unerotic and a black comedy of misanthropy, you've mistaken it making everyone unlikable for it making Humbert likeable.

All of that is true of the movie too. It's just more subtle about it also because of Code restrictions.
