I'm fine with the show ending on Saturday. Really feels like they've done everything they wanted to do with the show's revival to the extent it's now spinning its wheels with gods and mysteries where the solution is 'there was no mystery'.

My only hope is they don't ruin Omega on Saturday, I remember meeting with those working on K-9: Time Quake and hearing the passion as they discussed how they planned to remain faithful to Omega, giving him this awesome anti-matter form, showing off awesome concept art of him with the classic mask, a body made of different pieces of reality and ending in a cape fashioned from a nebula.

Now Omega's potentially just a fucking crab. It's enough to make me want to end myself with just how much they have bastardized this show.

1. We start from scratch and use the original 62 years as a basis. Sometimes remakes, sometimes remixes but it's pretty much all new

2. Do one off specials or mini series every couple of years which does t mention continuity at all. In any way. Every time you cast a brand new one off Doctor and companion/s and just do an adventure. Even being back older Doctors if you want but never mention canon at all or tie it into anything. The Doctor retains all mystery that way and you don't know who he is, the order of his lives etc etc

I saw the TV Movie when it aired in the 90's, and I've read at least a dozen books, listened to at least a dozen audio dramas, and read at least a dozen comics.

They can't even use the seventh doctor and have to photoshop mccoys face onto cosplayers.
A couple of "early 8" stories have used the artists hair or even Nyssa.
Look at Sirens of Time Redux for an example of both the above.
