Traditional martial arts aren't real so who cares?
get front punched, hard, in the throat
gasp out "wait was that a..."
"yes it's a shaolin first front punch"
"oh man you had me worried there I thought my larynx was crushed but it was a fake punch only good for the movies after all"
”Jack it off”
Interesting technique
How can belts be real if your waist isn't real?
He just needed to get good enough to beat up chink kids.
Traditional martial arts is about training for scenarios that will never happen, then using those scenarios that have never happened as proof that you are a bad ass.
Your average black youth cannot learn anything because they've been conditioned to resist knowledge and to ridicule its pursuit.
Black belt takes a decade or more, if I remember correctly.
Chink martial arts don't use belts.
Where do you think most of them are from dumbass?
I dunno, the first thing my karate instructor taught me was to only use it in self defense so yeah that doesn't include seeking out people to beat up to "prove" that you are badass.
The second thing he taught me was how to shoulder roll because tripping and falling is more likely than ever getting in a fight.
And guess the one karate move I have actually ever used.
karate kid
goes to China
Dey arr rook de same, amirite?
The ones with a belt system? Japan.
I mean, like pretty much everything about ancient Japan, Karate was taken wholesale from China.
It started on Okinawa mixing jap and chinese influences with its own development due to the local govt restricting weapons use for peasants
I liked this better than the original desu
ACK
Aaaaaand the way it was formalised was taken wholesale from the french ballet, which took its organisation of training from the military sword training of the 17th century
deflects half the punches
Based aikido master
So the martial arts don't work because some old frauds made cults about spirit energies in China?
MMA is based on what American GIs learned in Asia post-WW2, btw, the actual combat techniques, not the spirit energy stuff they ignored. Why are you such a retarded faggot?
UUUUSSH!
And guess the one karate move I have actually ever used.

MMA training > wrestling training > boxing/kickboxing/Muay Thai training > traditional martial arts training > no training
In terms of real life usefulness in self defense scenarios. Generally grappling > striking
