The books are mostly pretty good, with the highpoints being kino. As is famous in the fandom, the author can't write females to save his life so most of the female POV's are horrible with the exception being Birgitte and Moiraine. Even then Moraine is kind of ruined near the end when she ends up with RJ's self insert character.
