There's been a few decent projects so far; Masters of the air was enjoyable, the first season of severance was kino. Blackbird, and Slowhorses are great. The Studio is pretty great even with that one kike trying his hardest to tank it

succession is not great, they had solid characters but no idea what to do with them and ended up leaving them so open ended that nothing happened and the ending sucked.

People really liked The Pitt, i personally haven't watched cause medical drama slop, but everyone seemed to be going nuts over it.
Scavengers Reign is a comfy animated show kinda in the same vein as Ugly Americans and Superjail if you're familiar with those.
The Harley Quinn show been going for over 5 seasons and a few specials, if you enjoyed stuff like Drawn Together it's in that style of not being afraid to be grotesque visually and having raunchy humor.
The Last of Us has been kino despite cringe fucks crying about the main actress' appearance because there's nothing else to complain about.
not to mention all the documentary series type stuff

HBO seemed great at the time because they were the only one doing it. But even back then though, they weren't only producing top notch shows. They were just the first to turn TV shows into something more than the place has been film actors go. Once other studios realized you could make very well written dramas on par with film, the magic went away. It is a shame they threw the branding away tho. They had a huge headstart.
