Big Red is really bizarre because in the actual video that made her famous she’s basically agreeing with the MRA’s on the symptoms but not the causes of their complaints (she acknowledges the complications with custody battles and alimony for example). Really her main crime was looking like a stereotypical third wave and yelling in public. Props to her for if nothing else staying consistent because most of the other high profile feminists of that era of culture war pretty much gave it up or jumped to trans stuff. I mainly remember her going down the laundry list of complaints MRAs had at the time (child custody, mandatory conscription, nobody believing men when they get raped) and explaining (yelling) why she thought they were all part of the same structure (patriarchy) that she thought feminists were opposed to. Again the main sin seemed to be being loud and rude, but also it was a protest and everyone chimps out at those.
