It seems like nobody is talking about the latest live action adaptation of Kakegurui (AKA "Bet") on Netflix.
Why is that? Didn't we like it?

Normally, you would be right - but in an era where beauty only exists to be subverted and dismantled, having a cute main character is something people should support, because it is not normal.
That being said: The show is surprisingly fun, for a western live action adaptation of an anime.

It made me want to tune out every other episode. His presence, especially with the role he's playing, does a lot of damage. Had they turned literally any other male character into a negro, it would not have been as much of a problem.
Preferably, no negro should be on any tv screen, ever. That would be for the best - for everyone - negros themselves included.
That aside, the only thing I did not like was that there was not enough emphasis on the titular bets in the story, compared to the anime/manga - both of which had entire episodes / chapters dedicated to just one game.
I guess they wanted to desperately avoid accusations of being a Squid Game copy.

It is there - but not nearly to the extent as it was depicted in the anime.
Some of the anime's best scenes (russian roulette, etc.) are missing. I guess they didn't want to be seen as a squid game copy.

Season 1 has been fully released.
Don't know if there will be a 2nd season - but I kind of doubt it, given the overall radio silence from the usual outlets.
There is a romance between the main character and a black. She even offers to have sex with him but he declines.
The masked girl is implied to be at least bi - but that goes nowhere.
TL;DR - no leashes.

that doesnt tell me anything. a lot of children born in america dont end up learning their heritage language. they find it easier to just speak english. that being said ive found that asians usually do but not always.
