Guillermo del Toro is taking a more sympathetic approach to the undead creature at the heart of his version of “Frankenstein.”
“Somebody asked me the other day, does it have really scary scenes?” del Toro said during a conversation at the Cannes Film Festival. “For the first time, I considered that. It’s an emotional story for me. It’s as personal as anything. I’m asking a question about being a father, being a son… I’m not doing a horror movie — ever. I’m not trying to do that.”
I knew it would be shit when I saw Del Taco's name tied to it.

From lightning literally reanimating him, Dr Frankenstein speeding out with “it’s alive” to The Monster being a silent sympathetic character, to reanimated The Bride. Novel he’s just a reanimated dead guy that spews incel poetry, Dr Frankenstein immediately hates him, he never reanimates The Bride which causes incel monster to chase his ass to ends of the earth
