They're not good. Episode 1 is the closest to being good but it's still heavily flawed. They have good ideas in them but they're not executed particularly well, they don't come together well, they're half-baked messes plagued with bad writing and bad filmmaking

How? 1 might as well be anime filler it provides nothing to the trilogy except wasted potential and space in an already constrained set of movies. No amount of real sets or effects can make up for a total misstep right from the get go.

Yeah right. Original Trilogy is nothing like Andor. I love Andor, but boomerslop was like the botched attempts with Solo, Rogue One, and Force Awakens. Andor is like if Star Wars was actually good in 2025. Since the end of Revenge of the Sith, everything between that and Andor is not "real" Star Wars. The weird EA "canonized" games, the 3D cartoons, the Disney flicks like Rogue One, Solo, and Force Awakens. Mandalorian S01 started like Andor and then it quickly pivoted. Andor without the Star Wars IP would still be a good sci-fi series. The IP just makes it so much better because it's actually done right.
