$55 million from a re-release in 2025
$55 million from a re-release in 2025
Sorry George
Release any 2000s movie in 2025 and it'll shit all over everything else in the box office. I watched it and I don't particularly like the movie but I wanted to go to the cinema with friends and there's nothing else to watch.
They all fell asleep at different points of the movie.
Thank Disney for brainwashing zoomertards into thinking these movies are good. Very effective marketing.
It's out of the theatres and you're still talking about some shitty movie? Fucking grow up retard instead of watching soulless cartoons.
I remember seeing this in 2004. I went with a highschool buddy, just played revenge of the sith on my PS2 the night before. Opens with an epic space battle, sensational graphics. It looks so real! Epic lightsaber duels between iconic good guys vs bad guys. Betrayal galore, even Yoda stood up to the evil emperor accompanied by an epic musical score.
Just like in Battlefront, you know shits going to get real when our little green friend takes out his weapon. Anakin was such a badass he even fought surrounded by lava, couldn't give a shit. Then he became Vader with the iconic helmet descending onto his head. Such a climax, what a masterpiece.
We had Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings, The Matrix. So many breathtaking trilogies, "Imagine what the future has in store" i said to myself. Turns out all the future had to offer was homo nigger shit

Yeah.
Imagine how much a re-release of unaltered original versions would make in a full theatrical run

I graduated high school in 2004 and know what you mean. The stuff we used to consider disposable popcorn blockbusters circa 20 years ago are literally cinematic art compared to most of the shit getting released in recent years. I bought a PS5 when the slim version released in late 2023 and I have still only bought 4 games for it, three of which are remakes, even though the PS5 released in 2020. Everything's gone to shit compared to 20 years ago. Revenge of the Sith is worth seeing at the cinema compared to most other new movies released in 2025.
Reminder Disney pulled Sith from theaters so Le New Avengers would get more attention
Hmmmm not to be that actually guy buy it was may 19 2005 release date I remember because I was there and witnessed spergs dueling before the show like the good Ole days. Could be bad memory on your part of dates or larp
Disney re-made the exact same fucking Lion King movie only with CGI, and pulled 1.6 billion.
THE
EXACT
SAME MOVIE
And battlefront was big in school because I remember it coming out right at beginning of school year Sept 2004 when the og trilogy set got released and they made the empire of dreams doc
Fuck RLM. The level of care and detail in this is breathtaking

Those movies were art compared to most of the shit being released the years they were initially released in, cherry-picker.
Fuck bros I remember even watching the OC on fox just for the exclusive trailer. What a trip down memory lane

Cope. What I meant is that the standards even for disposable popcorn flicks were MUCH higher than they are today. A lot of new blockbusters are just shot in a warehouse somewhere using the Mandalorian tech, etc. And the CGI, if any, will be farmed out to the cheapest possible vendor they can find rather than spending extra for cutting-edge visuals.
You're probably right. I always think age 13 was my first year of Highschool but it was probably 14yo
I stayed at the guys house afterwards, he was a sports fag & his dad was a divorced bogan.
A brief look
12 hour video
I'm a big fan of Lucas but this is too much
Jack Sparrow.. our debt is settled.
You will not fore-stall my judgement-ah!
Do NOT test me..
Do you fear death? that dark abyss? All your deeds laid bare? Join my crew, and postpone your judgement!
Holy kino
What I meant is that the standards even for disposable popcorn flicks were MUCH higher than they are today
And yet you keep cherry-picking the same half dozen films that were Oscar nominated for their far above average fidelity.
films that were Oscar nominated for their far above average fidelity
You don't get it. What tech was "far above average fidelity" should be trivial two decades later. Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith were LITERALLY shot in 1080p and on VIDEO TAPE at that. A fucking iPhone today can shoot in much higher "fidelity", yet the actual artistry is what keeps these movies in conversation.
For example, the year Dead Man's chest released, you also had the shitty Routh Superman, the shitty X-Men 3 flick, that horrid Pink Panther remake with Steve Martin, all kinds of girlboss shit, from Underworld sequels to Ultraviolet, Garfield movie with Murray, just tons of genre garbage, terrible sequels and remakes. Yes, a few gems. But mostly shit.
What tech was "far above average fidelity" should be trivial two decades later.
Nonsense. Cameron's 3D tech in Avatar was never equaled, tho many many tried.
Another shill thread for old boomer drunks. With the same fake and gay posts over and over.
did space cop even make 1 million?
And back to the robotic shill posts for failed old boomer drunks.
or old boomer drunks
It's reddit zoomers who post all this shit about the prequels being amazing
If it makes money then it's good
Okay, Schlomo. Guess Justin Bieber is one of the best singers in the world.
The funniest thing is people were mocking the prequels in 1999 on TV. People are just reddit-infected thinking that it was RLM that made people hate the prequels. The doubly irony is people go
YOU JUST HATE THE PREQUELS BECAUSE RLM SAID SO
And then they go
THE PREQUELS ARE SO BASED AND KINO LOOK THIS YOUTUBER SAID SO!!!!
It's fucking gay, these shill threads for these old boomer drunk failures are so fake and robotic With the same fake posts over and over again.
They all fell asleep at different points of the movie.
Fucking zoomers with TikTok brains
SPACE FLOP SOLD ONLY 2,000 COPIES
Kike Stoklasa is a fucking hack
Yup 2005 had that shitty stealth with Biel and foxx too
Pretty ridiculous they won't just release it for free nowadays
They never said the movies were unpopular. This is meaningless.
They're becoming more and more wrong every year with more people appreciating them. Rich is a fucking MORON when he says aotc is the worst movie relative to its budget. 1. He has barely seen any movies outside of his cushy job. 2. That's just retarded
appreciating them
again, they never said people didn't enjoy them.
it's possible for something to be bad but entertaining.
you fuckers are the problem with criticism--you see someone pointing out a problem and you take it personally. get over it.
Rich is a fucking MORON when he says aotc is the worst movie relative to its budget. 1. He has barely seen any movies outside of his cushy job. 2. That's just retarded
Furthermore, we're talking about Mike/Plinkette. I don't care how wrong Rich is.
Liar. You don't have friends.
it's RLM that brainwashed millennials/zoomers into thinking they are bad. never heard a negative opinion about them from those demographics until reddit letter media
brainwashing zoomertards into thinking these movies are good
So why didn't they do this with Black Panther or any of the other capeshit movies? The prequels are kino. Seethe louder.
with more people appreciating them.
Sure, because Disney Starwars happened and whatever criticisms you can make about the terrible plot, pacing and acting in the prequels, they pale in comparison to how next level bad the plot, pacing and acting are in the nu-quels and other disney starwars "content". Plus for all their flaws, the prequels had a lot of creativity and passion, whereas the nu-quels are a dreary nostalgia retread with no imagination or soul.
You're too young to remember, but before the prequels, some people used to shit on RotJ as being disappointingly childish compared to ESB, especially the ewoks, then Jar Jar and the trade federation came along and made RotJ look amazing by comparison.
Now the prequels are getting the same treatment thanks to how shit the nu-quels are.
they’re being reconsidered in a new light.
In the 90s lucasarts kept the flame alive with PC games the xwing/tie fighter simulator series and the dark forces FPS.
