Star Wars prequels good, I can just tell

Star Wars prequels are good, I can just tell
They're shit and they'll always be shit.
I just watched them as a kid and found them to be quite boring except for some parts of episode 3
Star Wars prequels are bad, and no Youtuber taught me that and you can take that to the bank!
doesn't remember life before youtube
they were always bad
They were always good
I love them.
I've gotten to see all 6 movies in a row the first time and I didn't notice any drops in the quality of the movies.
haha thats great anon
do another impression
There were no youtubers 20 years ago
Sequels didn't exist to demonstrate how bad things could get.
George Lucas's retarded vision is still more unique than Disneyslop
Star Wars Prequels good, I can just tell
20 years later
I have spent those 20 years learning about how the films were made.
Star Wars Prequels good, I KNOW why.
And despite explaining at length midwits on this board just respond with, "Nuh-uh, I don't like it, so it's bad."
Ironic OP here with the npc perspective. The reason those changed has little to do with youtubers (never seen a youtuber star wars vid) it's because when there were only originals it was clear the prequels were a step down but then the sequels came and now the prequels seem inspired and from a better time in creative history. Youtubers have nothing to do with it they just had more co.e out to compare them to
The prequels have objectively badly written scripts and no amount of mental gymnastics, nostalgia goggles, and historical revisionism will change that. You can appreciate other aspects of the films, like the VFX or the overall vision, but you can’t deny it’s missing what most people consider the most important ingredient to any story (good dialogue)
"Nuh-uh, I don't like it, so it's bad."
Like movie
Watch video with a quality YouTuber
Makes a strong case for why the movie wasn't that great
Consider the arguments
Change my mind
Maybe the movie wasn't that good.
20 years later
Watch YouTube video watching how the movie is actually really good
Makes a stronger case than the one from 20 years ago as the movie is much more understood now
Consider the arguments along with the other video
Change mind
Realize the movie has its flaws but is actually pretty good.
I don't see a problem with this. Why look at movie reviews if you're not going to be open minded to their opinion?
"Nuh-uh, I like it, so it's good."
There was Smosh but that’s it
Yeah, but I'm right.
Everyone complains about the bad writing and the bad acting, but the only badly-written and badly-acted scenes are the "romantic" scenes between Anakin and Padme. Everyone blames Hayden Christensen, but Natalie Portman is way worse in those scenes.
Star Wars (all of them) bad.
source?
I watched them and they sucked.
Anon they were always considered to be bad and a disappointment compared to the OT. You were just unaware of this because you were a child when they came out and your first exposure to criticism of them was youtubers years later. Even this most recent Sith re-release was full of r/prequelsmemes retards shouting the cheesey lines along with the movie.
The Star Wars prequels ARE good. I finally got to see RotS in theaters (wasn't born to see it when it came out) and it was magical. It was almost like watching a stage play.
I love Emo Anthony so much it’s unreal
CAUSE HE’S THE L TO THE I TO THE N TO THE K
Holy shit imagine needing youtubers to tell you how good children's star wars is
The Star Wars prequels were bad in 1999 though, before RLM existed.
This is the part where I pull up old AICN talkbacks to prove this and remember 2025 was the uear that fat fucking subhuman finally lost his site
Kek tbat's literally just the NPC in the OP
be 17
Go to see the movie opening weekend
Not retarded so able to form own opinions based on my personal preferences and objective analysis
It's dog shit
Stay mad for 20 years
It's called not being autistic. You can hear people out while forming your own opinion. I don't radically change my stance, I just bump it up ~.5-1 star or so. This is what healthy human beings do.
i like them for the romance between anakin and padme
The prequels are bad in a way that is interesting and fun to talk about.
Again, Spaced (1999) mocked the prequels, multiple times.

Nobody needed RLM to tell you they sucked.
It's simple you fucking retard. Prequels are still shit and will always be shit. The only reason why they're seen in a better light now is the sequels managed to be worse. Hollywoods also incapable of making entertaining movies anymore, there's nothing to watch. Endless slop for the brown hordes. Nu-jurassic park movies are bringing in over a billion. Nothing will ever change unless total jew death occurs.
KIDS LIKE JAJA!
WHY?!
That's brilliant lmao.
Oh shit I actually missed one, where Tim (Simon Pegg) gets given a expedited and larger benefit claim because the black woman at the benefits agency agreed with him not liking the Phantom Menace.
Simon Pegg was great in that show. Wish Bill Bailey was in it more.
The genocide of prequel fans will be the best thing to come out of RFK Jr's autism treatment.
It was almost like watching a stage play.
You've never watched a stage play.
It's called not being autistic.
No. That's 100% autistic behavior.
You should develop your critical analysis skills.
I saw every prequel in the theaters at release
they were pretty good, but flawed movies. some of the story felt a bit like retcons that george was making up as he went along, and not "i've always imagined it this way" as he claims. turning boba fett into a clone of jango seemed lame, and making a huge thing out of a single throw away line from ANH "you fought in the clone wars?" was lame.
otherwise everyone thing else was good stuff.
however, saying they were great, just because the sequel trilogy is dogshit, doesn't work
I saw the movie in 1999 and it was dogshit. Nobody will change my mind on these fucking turds. They weren't good then, they're not good now, and the next series sucking shit through a straw doesn't make them any better.
Star Wars is a movie series for fucking babies. If you legit enjoy anything more than the first one from 1977, you're an emotionally stunned baby.
The way I feel these days is theyre fun kids movies, and I appreciate the effort that went into them. The real crime RLM and cohorts did was try to convince people Lucas was clueless about everything when he had a strong directing hand in everything. The BTS stuff is really fun to watch. You never hear about people bitching about Lucas on set, they trust and enjoy working with him.
Wasnt this fat fuck in prison for sex assault or something
You can be both critical during your watch the movie and take in other opinion. These aren't mutually exclusive.
He was canned from Ain't It Cool News, for sexual assault allegations, among a host of other legal issues.
Now for Anon Babble's viewing enjoyment, here is Harry Knowles' review for Blade 2.
No one apart manchildren are saying that the prequels are good.
it’s missing what most people consider the most important ingredient to any story (good dialogue)
